Keller (2-3) took the loss Tuesday, allowing three runs on seven hits and two walks over five innings against the A's. He struck out seven.

Although Keller punched out seven batters for a second consecutive outing, he was tagged for a trio of runs, including a solo homer by JJ Bleday. After entering the 2024 season with relatively high expectations, Keller has fallen to a 5.18 ERA through 40.0 innings and has surrendered five or more hits in all seven starts. He's scheduled for a home start against the Angels on Monday.

Feltner did not factor into the decision Tuesday, allowing three runs on five hits over eight innings. He struck out three.

Felter was dominant for most of Tuesday's outing, blanking the Marlins through eight frames. With the Rockies up 5-0, the 27-year-old Feltner started the ninth inning, eyeing the first complete game of his career. However, he was pulled after allowing the first three batters to reach in the inning before the bullpen imploded, ultimately allowing the Marlins to tie the game and costing Feltner a chance at a win. Despite the disappointing finish, it was an encouraging outing for Feltner overall after he allowed 10 runs over 9.1 innings in his previous two starts. He's 1-2 on the season with a 5.13 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 33:10 K:BB through six starts (33.1 innings).

Montgomery will not start Tuesday's game against the Dodgers, Jesse Friedman of GoPHNX.com reports.

The beginning of Tuesday's contest was delayed roughly two hours after a bee colony formed on the net behind home plate, and the lengthy delay will cause Montgomery to sit down while Brandon Hughes starts in a bullpen game. Montgomery's next start will likely be pushed back to Wednesday.

Manaea came away with a no-decision in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Cubs, giving up one run on three hits and four walks over five innings. He struck out three.

For the fourth straight start, Manaea issued at least three free passes, but the veteran lefty was able to limit the damage before exiting with the score tied 1-1. He tossed 54 of 92 pitches for strikes, and while his 3.07 ERA on the season looks sharp, it comes with a 1.43 WHIP and 30:18 K:BB through 29.1 innings. Manaea will try to tighten things up in his next outing, which lines up to come this weekend in Tampa Bay.

Assad came away with a no-decision in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Mets, allowing one run on five hits over five innings. He struck out one without walking a batter.

The 26-year-old righty didn't allow much hard contact, as all five hits off him were singles, and Assad tossed 55 of 78 pitches for strikes before leaving the mound with the score tied 1-1. He's had an impressive start to his campaign, and Assad will take a 1.97 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 27:9 K:BB through 32 innings into his next outing, which lines up to come at home this weekend against the Brewers.

Munoz will be promoted from Triple-A Jacksonville to start Wednesday's game against the Rockies, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Munoz allowed two runs and struck out seven batters across five innings during his first MLB start April 20 against the Cubs. He hasn't found much success in the minors, however, posting an 8.62 ERA and 1.84 WHIP across 15.2 frames this season.

Matz escaped with a no-decision in the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Tigers, giving up four runs on seven hits and two walks over 3.1 innings in an 11-6 loss. He struck out only one.

The southpaw got the hook after 73 pitches (45 strikes) with the Cardinals in a 4-0 hole, but Matz avoided the loss when the two teams combined for eight runs in the fifth inning. It was his shortest start of the season so far, but he's failed to complete five innings in three of his last four outings, getting tagged for 17 earned runs in 17.1 frames over that stretch. Matz will carry a 6.18 ERA, 1.73 WHIP and 17:11 K:BB through 27.2 innings into his next start, which could come at home this weekend against the White Sox.

Gibson came away with a no-decision in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Tigers, allowing one run on four hits and two walks over seven innings in a 2-1 win. He struck out nine.

A Riley Greene solo shot in the fourth inning was the only damage off Gibson, but he left the mound in line for the loss as he got out-dueled by Jack Flaherty. The Cardinals were able to rally in the ninth to take Gibson off the hook, however. He generated 30 called or swinging strikes among his 98 pitches while setting a new season high in strikeouts, and the 36-year-old righty sports a 3.79 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 29:14 K:BB through 38 innings. Gibson lines up to make his next start at home early next week against the Mets.

Snell (thigh) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session Wednesday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Snell landed on the shelf last week with a Grade 2 adductor strain, but he wasn't shut down from throwing for long. The left-hander hopes to spend close to the 15-day minimum on the injured list, though he seems likely to be sidelined a bit longer. A specific timeline for Snell's return could come into focus as he ramps up his throwing program.

The Padres activated Darvish (neck) from the 15-day injured list ahead of his start Tuesday against the Reds.

The veteran right-hander has been sidelined the past couple weeks with neck tightness, but he'll rejoin San Diego's rotation Tuesday after a minimum-length stay on the injured list. Darvish posted a 4.18 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 22:10 K:BB across 23.2 innings through his first five starts of the season, and he could have some minor workload limitations in his first outing back with the Friars.
