Gonsolin (4-1) allowed two hits and two walks while striking out six over six scoreless innings to earn the win Tuesday over the White Sox.

Gonsolin threw 60 of 90 pitches for strikes and picked up his third quality start in nine outings this season. He's won four of his last six starts, and this was the third time in that span he's kept runs off the board. The steady right-hander is at a 1.93 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 36:18 K:BB through 46.2 innings, though those ratios are likely too good to last since he's not dominating with strikeouts as much this year. He's projected to make his next start over the weekend at home versus the Giants.

Musgrove (4-2) allowed three runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out five over six innings to earn the win Tuesday over the Guardians.

Musgrove allowed multiple runs for the first time in four starts, but he also picked up his third quality start over that span. The right-hander has started to more regularly get through six innings after failing to do so in his first five starts of the season. He's now at a 4.37 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 47:14 K:BB over 47.1 innings through nine starts. Musgrove is lined up for a tougher home start versus the Rays this weekend.

The Pirates will call up Bido from Triple-A Indianapolis to start Wednesday's game against the Cubs, Justice delos Santos of MLB.com reports.

The 27-year-old will be making his MLB debut Wednesday after registering a 4.55 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 56:26 K:BB in 55.1 innings with Indianapolis this season. Even against a mediocre Chicago lineup, Bido profiles as a risky streaming option for fantasy purposes, given his so-so numbers at Triple-A and lack of a prior MLB track record.

Milwaukee reinstated Lauer (shoulder) off the 10-day injured list and optioned him to Triple-A Nashville on Thursday, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. "We want to get him right, to be healthy and be a contributor," Brewers general manager Matt Arnold said.

Lauer was placed on the 15-day injured list May 22 with an impingement in his non-throwing shoulder, and the southpaw struggled in his rehab start Sunday with Nashville, allowing seven runs (five earned) in two innings. Lauer was an effective part of the Milwaukee rotation in 2022, but he'll remain in the PCL until the Brewers deem him worthy of a roster spot again this summer.

Williamson (1-0) earned the win Tuesday, allowing four runs on seven hits over five innings in a 5-4 victory over the Royals. He struck out one.

After not factoring into the decision in his first five starts, Williamson was finally able to secure his first victory Tuesday. The young southpaw gave up runs in each of his first three innings before settling down the rest of the way. Williamson was able to induce just seven swinging strikes on the evening, although he did throw 51 of his 78 pitches for strikes. He is scheduled to start during a three-game set against the Rockies next week.

Strider's start versus the Tigers on Tuesday was postponed due to inclement weather, Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic reports.

The game will be made up on Wednesday with a straight doubleheader in Detroit. Strider should be on the hill for one of those two games, with Reese Olson -- his scheduled opponent on Tuesday -- also likely to go Wednesday.

Painter (elbow) threw a 20-pitch bullpen session Tuesday at the Phillies' spring training complex in Florida, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Painter is now scheduled to throw another bullpen session Friday. The right-hander is making steady progress from the sprained UCL that has sidelined him throughout the 2023 campaign. Painter will likely need a few more bullpen sessions before starting a rehab assignment, but he does have a chance to make starts for Philadelphia before the season comes to a conclusion.

Rogers (biceps) was returned from his rehab assignment and transferred to the 60-day injured list Tuesday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

After Rogers was scratched from his rehab start with Triple-A Jacksonville due to discomfort in his non-throwing shoulder Saturday, the left-hander was moved to the 60-day IL. It's unclear whether the transaction was made due to his preexisting biceps injury or the new right shoulder ailment, but the move opens a spot on the 40-man roster for Archie Bradley on the 40-man roster, who had his contract selected by the Marlins on Tuesday. Rogers remains eligible be activated off of the injured list next Tuesday (June 20), though more information on his status will likely come in the near future.

Quintana (ribs) threw 1.1 scoreless innings in his rehab debut Tuesday with Low-A St. Lucie, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

Quintana scattered two hits and one walk in the 26-pitch outing. Mets manager Buck Showalter has stated that the veteran left-hander will need to be extended to five innings on the farm before he is activated, which figures to take at least three more rehab starts. Quintana is on the road back from March bone-graft surgery on his rib cage.

Brewers manager Craig Counsell said Miley (lat) will return from the 15-day injured list to start Saturday's game against the Pirates, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Miley proved his health while tallying five strikeouts over five scoreless innings in a rehab outing this past Sunday with Double-A Biloxi. He had posted a solid 3.67 ERA and 1.13 WHIP in 41.2 innings (eight starts) with the Brewers before landing on the injured list in mid-May due to a posterior serratus strain around the left side of his rib cage.
