Wright (shoulder) said Wednesday that he expects to be sidelined at least two months, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.

Max Fried (forearm) is also expected to miss at least two months, but Wright indicated that his absence could be even longer because his right shoulder strain is a recurrence of a previous injury. He will remain shut down until the shoulder fully heals before slowly ramping things back up. Fantasy managers probably shouldn't count on Wright returning until after the All-Star break.

Senzatela left Wednesday's start against the Pirates with right forearm tightness, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports. He allowed three runs on four hits and one walk in 2.2 innings before departing.

The right-hander will be considered day-to-day until he's re-examined in Denver on Thursday, but there's a chance that he'll be headed to the 15-day injured list even if his MRI reveals no structural damage to his forearm. His start against the Pirates was just his second of the season after Senzatela spent the first month on the IL while recovering from the surgery he underwent last August to repair a torn ACL in his left knee.

Rea appeared in relief during Wednesday's 8-1 loss to the Dodgers, recording two outs while allowing one earned run on two hits and two walks.

Rea had started in each of his prior five outings with the Brewers, but his usage out of the bullpen Wednesday confirms that the recently activated Adrian Houser has replaced him as Milwaukee's No. 5 starter. Given that the soft-tossing right-hander labored in his 27-pitch appearance Wednesday, it's possible that the Brewers option him to Triple-A Nashville in the coming days to transition him back to a starter's schedule in preparation for a big-league rotation spot opening back up later on this season.

Senzatela was removed in the third inning of Wednesday's game against the Pirates due to an unspecified injury, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports. He was charged with three earned runs on four hits and one walk while striking out one over 2.2 innings.

After serving up a two-run home run to Andrew McCutchen, Senzatela received a visit on the mound from manager Bud Black and an assistant trainer. The trio talked for a few moments before Senzatela headed to the dugout after throwing just 51 pitches. It's possible Senzatela's early exit was merely precautionary, but the Rockies should provide an update on the matter later Wednesday. Senzatela was making just his second start since completing his recovery from a torn ACL and coming off the 15-day injured list last week.

Suarez (elbow) will be activated from the 15-day injured list to start Saturday's game against the Rockies at Coors Field, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Suarez will make his 2023 debut with the Phillies over the weekend after missing the first six weeks of the campaign due to a left elbow strain. Because his first outing will come on the road at one of baseball's least forgiving environments, fantasy managers may want to wait before activating Suarez. The 27-year-old recently wrapped up a productive three-outing rehab assignment this past Sunday, when he struck out three while allowing one run over five innings for Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that a decision on whether Syndergaard (finger) will be placed on the injured list won't come before Friday, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Syndergaard was removed after one inning in Tuesday's win over the Brewers after he developed a cut on his right index finger. He was able to play catch Wednesday by covering the finger and also using a topical skin adhesive. Neither of those things would be allowed while Syndergaard pitches, however, so he'll have to show during a between-starts bullpen session this weekend that his finger is feeling well enough to keep him off the IL.

Lodolo (calf) is listed as the Reds' probable starting pitcher for Saturday's game against the Marlins.

Lodolo had been in line to start Thursday's series finale with the Mets at Great American Ball Park, but he'll instead make his next turn through the rotation in Miami after the Reds opted to push him back two days in the pitching schedule while he managed a sore left calf. Provided Lodolo doesn't have any setbacks while he likely throws a bullpen session Thursday, he shouldn't face any restrictions Saturday as he prepares for his eighth start of the 2023 campaign.

Syndergaard (finger) was able to play catch in the outfield Wednesday, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Syndergaard lasted just one inning in his start in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Brewers before departing with a bleeding blister/cut on his right index finger, but the fact that he's throwing a day after suffering the injury bodes well for his chances of avoiding a stint on the injured list. The Dodgers will presumably wait and see how Syndergaard fares during a potential bullpen session over the weekend before determining whether he's fit to make his next scheduled start, which would fall Monday or Tuesday versus the Twins.

Pirates director of sports medicine Todd Tomczyk told reporters Wednesday that Velasquez (elbow) will throw live batting practice next week, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Tomczyk is confident that Velasquez will only miss the minimum 15 days after being placed on the injured list May 5 with inflammation in his right elbow. The right-hander will likely need to throw a few more bullpens and possibly make a rehab start, but all signs point to him being back right around May 20 to make more starts for the Pirates.

Morton (4-3) picked up the win Tuesday, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks over six innings in a 9-3 victory over the Red Sox. He struck out seven.

The veteran right-hander racked up 33 called or swinging strikes among his 100 pitches as he delivered his fourth quality start in his last five outings. Morton has alternated wins and losses to begin the season and has issued multiple walks in all seven of his starts, but the 39-year-old has remained reliable with a 3.32 ERA and 39:17 K:BB through 40.2 innings. He'll look for his first win streak of the year in his next trip to the mound, which is likely to come on the road early next week against the Rangers.
