The Rockies reinstated Marquez (forearm) from the 15-day injured list ahead of his scheduled start Wednesday against the Guardians.

Marquez will make his return to the mound after spending the minimum 15 days on the IL after straining his right forearm. Considering the fact that he didn't make any rehab starts and instead is stepping right back into big-league competition, it's likely that he won't have a complete workload Wednesday. To make room for Marquez on the major-league roster, Jose Urena was designated for assignment in a corresponding move.

Oviedo didn't factor into the decision in Tuesday's 8-7 loss to the Dodgers, giving up five runs (four earned) on six hits and two walks over 5.1 innings. He struck out four.

The right-hander saw his quality start streak end at three, but Oviedo still exited the game in line for his third win of the season, only to see Colin Holderman serve up a game-winning blast to Chris Taylor in the eighth inning. Oviedo will take a 3.03 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 29:10 K:BB through 29.2 innings into his next outing, likely to come this weekend on the road against the Nationals.

Syndergaard didn't factor into the decision in Tuesday's 8-7 win over the Pirates, coughing up seven runs on nine hits over four innings. He struck out two without walking a batter.

It was the worst performance of the season for the veteran right-hander, who managed to generate only seven swinging strikes in 80 pitches, but a late comeback by the Dodgers got Syndergaard off the hook for a potential fourth straight loss. He's now served up five homers in 26 innings, fueling a 6.58 ERA, and his 21:4 K:BB and career-low 92.2 mph average fastball are reminders that his pre-injury form almost certainly isn't coming back. Syndergaard will look to get back on track in his next start, likely to come at home this weekend against the Cardinals.

Feltner (2-2) picked up the win in Tuesday's 5-1 victory over the Guardians. allowing one unearned run on five hits over six innings. He struck out six without walking a batter.

The right-hander didn't give up an earned run for the second straight outing while recording his first quality start of the season. Feltner also didn't issue a free pass for the first time in five starts as he fired 60 of 82 pitches for strikes. Despite the strong recent performances, he still carries a 4.68 ERA and 1.48 WHIP, and that's with four of his five starts so far coming on the road. Feltner's next turn in the rotation lines up for a Coors Field start next week against the Brewers.

Woodford allowed two runs on five hits and a walk over 5.1 innings in Tuesday's no-decision against the Giants. He struck out four.

The Giants scrapped out a run against Woodford in the second inning after Thairo Estrada singled, stole second base and wound up scoring on a throwing error. Woodford would later surrender a solo home run to Mike Yastrzemski in the fourth and then retired the final seven batters he faced before being lifted in sixth. The 26-year-old has been a serviceable rotation member for the Cardinals outside of his first start of the year. He now sits at a 5.47 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 16:7 K:BB over 24.2 innings. He's tentatively lined up to face the Dodgers in Los Angeles over the weekend.

Nelson (1-1) was handed his first loss of the season Tuesday against the Royals, allowing four runs on 11 hits while striking out three over five innings.

Nelson gave up a season-high 11 hits but was able to keep the ball in the yard after allowing at least one home run in three of his past four starts. The Royals got on the board in the first, fourth and fifth innings with RBI singles and scored their fourth run against Nelson on a sacrifice fly. A positive for the 25-year-old is that he didn't issue a walk after he exhibited command issues his last time on the mound. Nelson has yet to show great consistency in the early going and will carry a 5.33 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 17:8 K:BB over 27 innings into his next start.

Morton (3-2) earned the win Tuesday, allowing one run on three hits and two walks over seven innings against the Marlins. He struck out nine.

Morton set a new season high in strikeouts Tuesday, fanning nine Marlins to best his previous high of six while his only earned run on the night came from a solo homer by Jazz Chisholm in the top of the third. Morton had allowed five or more hits in each of his previous four starts. Through 29.1 innings, the veteran righty sports a 2.76 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 7.9 K/9.

Gray (1-4) earned the win Tuesday, allowing no runs on four hits and one walk over six innings against the Mets. He struck out nine.

Gray dominated the Mets on Tuesday, picking up his first win of the season after taking a loss in each of his first four starts. Gray has been adequately filling the role of Washington's top arm, posting a 2.93 ERA and 8.1 K/9 while having allowing a modest four runs in his last 22.2 innings.

Butto (0-1) took the loss Tuesday, allowing two runs on four hits and six walks over 4.2 innings against Washington. He struck out one.

Butto had control issues once again Tuesday, walking six batters in 4.2 frames, but he managed to limit the Nationals to just two runs and took the loss. The 25-year-old has struggled in both of his spot starts this season with a 3:10 K:BB over 9.2 innings. Considering he hasn't given the Mets any reason to keep him on the big league roster, Butto will likely be optioned back down to Triple-A once Justin Verlander (shoulder) returns from the IL, but the former might be needed for one more start, which could come Sunday against Atlanta.

Falter (0-4) took the loss Tuesday, allowing four runs on six hits over six innings in a 5-3 loss against the Mariners. He struck out seven.

Falter got off to a strong start, allowing just one hit through his first four innings. However, he'd allow two runs in both the fifth and sixth innings en route to a third consecutive loss. Despite his 0-4 record, Falter has looked decent at times early in the season -- his ERA is now 4.50 with a 1.14 WHIP and 19:4 K:BB. The 26-year-old left-hander's time in the Phillies' rotation is likely limited, however, with Ranger Suarez (forearm) slated to begin a rehab assignment.
