    Urena will get $3.75 million for his services, per Jon Heyman of MLB Network. He spent the final month of the 2019 season in the bullpen and is expected to remain in that role heading into the 2020 campaign.

    This is Syndergaard's third of four years as an arbitration-eligible player. He gets a nice bump up from the $6 million he settled for last offseason.

    This was the young southpaw's first of four years as an arbitration-eligible player. He is a popular breakout candidate now that the decks are clear for him spend the bulk of the year in the big-league rotation.

  • Reds' Michael Lorenzen: Receives just under $4 million

    Lorenzen agreed to a one-year, $3.725 million deal with the Reds on Friday, avoiding arbitration, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

    This represents a sizable raise over the $1.95 million figure he settled for last offseason. He will have one final run in the arbitration process next offseason before hitting the open market after the 2021 season.

  • Pirates' Jameson Taillon: No arbitrator needed

    Taillon (elbow) and the Pirates avoided arbitration with a one-year, $2.25 million contract Friday, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports.

    Taillon made just seven starts before being shut down with a flexor strain in early May. He suffered a setback soon after he resumed throwing in mid-July and eventually underwent Tommy John surgery in mid-August. He's expected to miss the entirety of the 2020 campaign.

    Ray agreed to a one-year, $9.43 million deal with the Diamondbacks on Friday, avoiding arbitration, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports.

    This is his final year as an arbitration-eligible player before hitting the open market. The 28-year-old lefty has been worth 12.2 fWAR over 790.2 innings across six MLB seasons.

  • Dodgers' Ross Stripling: Gets $2.1 million from Dodgers

    Stripling agreed to a one-year, $2.1 million deal with the Dodgers on Friday, avoiding arbitration, ESPN reports.

    This was Stripling's first of three arbitration years before he hits the open market after the 2022 season. He is one of the best swingmen in the game and has a 3.51 career ERA in 387 innings.
