Noah Syndergaard SP | CLE
Mets' Noah Syndergaard: Strikes out seven in win
Syndergaard (4-4) gave up no runs on one hit and two walks while striking out seven through seven innings to get the win over the Rockies on Sunday.
Syndergaard was tremendous as he allowed only three baserunners and posted 17 swinging strikes. The win was the first in his last five starts even though he has delivered four quality starts in that span. The 26-year-old has a 4-4 record with a 4.45 ERA and a 8.9 K/9 through 14 starts this season. Syndergaard will look to keep rolling in his next start Saturday against the Cardinals.

Rich Hill SP | KC
Dodgers' Rich Hill: Squeaks out third win
Hill (3-1) picked up the win Saturday in a 7-2 victory over the Giants, allowing two runs on seven hits and three walks over five innings while striking out six.
The southpaw wasn't particularly efficient, needing 94 pitches (59 strikes) to record his 15 outs, and after he escaped a bases-loaded, no-out jam in the fifth inning Hill hit the showers with the score tied 2-2 -- only for the Dodgers to take the lead for good in the top of the sixth while he was still the pitcher of record. He'll carry a 2.40 ERA and 52:12 K:BB through 45 innings into his next start Friday, at home against the Cubs.

Jack Flaherty SP | DET
Cardinals' Jack Flaherty: Chased early by Cubs
Flaherty didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 9-4 loss to the Cubs, allowing four runs on five hits and three walks over 3.2 innings. He failed to strike out a batter.
It was the first time all season Flaherty had failed to fan a batter, and his only shorter outing came April 16 in Milwaukee, when he got chased with two outs in the third inning. The young right-hander now sports a 4.08 ERA and 73:23 K:BB through 68.1 innings, and he'll look to rebound in his next start Thursday, on the road against the Mets.

Miles Mikolas RP | WAS
Cardinals' Miles Mikolas: Plays catch Saturday
Mikolas (forearm) played catch Saturday without issue and confirmed he'll take the mound in his next start Wednesday against the Marlins, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.
Mikolas took a 99.8 mph liner off his right forearm in the fourth inning of Friday's start against the Cubs and was ultimately lifted after swelling began to manifest. However, the fact he was able to play catch less than 24 hours later is certainly encouraging, and manager Mike Shildt confirmed the veteran right-hander's expected availability for his next turn. "He jokingly said, 'It''s going to take more than 99.8 -- it'll take at least 100 -- to get me down,'" Shildt said. "Thankfully, got him in a good spot, if there is such a thing, and was able to play catch, spin some balls, said he wasn't concerned, so I'm not concerned."

Eric Lauer SP | LAD
Padres' Eric Lauer: No support in loss
Lauer (5-5) allowed four runs -- three earned -- on seven hits and three walks over seven innings in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Nationals. He struck out five and took the loss.
Lauer was unable to keep pace with Nationals star Max Scherzer on Saturday, and the Padres didn't get on the board until the ninth inning. Lauer owns a 4.14 ERA and 1.24 WHIP with 57 strikeouts over 71.2 innings. He lines up for his next start versus the Rockies at Coors Field on Saturday.

Julio Teheran SP | BAL
Braves' Julio Teheran: Stays hot
Teheran (4-4) pitched six shutout frames, allowing only two hits with five strikeouts and one walk to earn a victory against the Marlins on Saturday.
The right-hander also didn't allow a run in his last outing, so he's on an 11-inning scoreless streak. Teheran has been one of the best starters in the big leagues since May 5, yielding only three runs in his last seven outings. During that stretch, Teheran owns an incredible 0.70 ERA. Overall, he is 4-4 with a 3.03 ERA, 1.20 WHIP, .200 batting average against and 74 strikeouts in 77.1 innings this year. He will pitch again against the Pirates at home Thursday.

Steven Matz RP | TB
Mets' Steven Matz: Whiffs 10 Rockies in win
Matz (5-4) picked up the win Saturday, giving up three runs (two earned) on six hits and two walks over six innings while striking out a season-high 10.
The southpaw fanned five of the first seven batters he faced en route to his sixth quality start of the season. Matz needed 120 pitches (77 strikes) to get the job done, and he now sports a 3.88 ERA and 66:20 K:BB through 62.2 innings. With the Mets having an off day Wednesday, he'll be able to pick up some extra rest before taking the mound again next Friday, at home against the Cardinals.

Jon Gray SP | TEX
Rockies' Jon Gray: Fans eight in loss
Gray (5-5) struck out eight but took the loss Saturday as the Rockies were downed 5-3 by the Mets. He allowed four runs on eight hits and three walks over 5.2 innings.
The right-hander showed no signs of being bothered by the finger issues that had been plaguing him in recent outings, generating a massive 20 swinging strikes among his 89 pitches (62 total strikes), but the Mets also hit him hard when they were able to get wood on the ball. Gray will take a 4.27 ERA and 83:31 K:BB over 78 innings into his next start Thursday, at home against the Padres.

Dallas Keuchel SP | MIL
Braves' Dallas Keuchel: Start pushed to Monday
Keuchel is tentatively scheduled to start for Low-A Rome on Monday after Triple-A Gwinnett's game was rained out Saturday, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.
Keuchel was scheduled to make his organizational debut with the Stripers on Saturday, but Mother Nature forced a change of plan. The 32-year-old was scheduled to make two starts in the minors before joining the Braves, and the rainout is unlikely to significantly impact those plans.

Zach Davies SP | WAS
Brewers' Zach Davies: Wins seventh game
Davies (7-0) allowed three runs on seven hits with three strikeouts and one walk across five innings to earn a victory against the Pirates on Saturday.
The Pirates were much more patient this time around against Davies, and as a result, Davies yielded three runs in the first three innings. He settled down in the fourth, however, and retired six of the last seven batters he faced. With the victory, Davies became the first pitcher in Brewers history to begin a season 7-0. He also has a 2.41 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 48 strikeouts in 74.2 innings. His next start will be in San Francisco next Saturday.
