Chase Anderson RP | TEX
Brewers' Chase Anderson: Extends scoreless streak Tuesday
Anderson (5-1) tossed 7.2 scoreless innings in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Giants, scattering six hits and a walk while striking out four.
Only two Giants got into scoring position against Anderson on the night while the Brewers' defense turned four double plays behind him, snuffing out any potential rallies. The 29-year-old now has a 21.2-inning scoreless streak going, but he'll be hard-pressed to extend it much further as his next start comes Sunday on the road against the dangerous Diamondbacks.

Adam Wainwright SP | STL
Cardinals' Adam Wainwright: Crushed by Reds on Tuesday
Wainwright (6-4) surrendered nine runs on seven hits and three walks over 3.2 innings while striking out two in Tuesday's 13-1 loss to the Reds.
A third-inning grand slam by Scooter Gennett -- the first of four on the game by the former Brewer -- was the big blow but Wainwright struggled right out of the gate in this one, needing 89 pitches (55 strikes) to record only 11 outs. The brutal outing added more than a full run to his ERA, but he's in a good spot to right the ship in his next start Sunday at home against the Phillies.

Aaron Nola SP | PHI
Phillies' Aaron Nola: Picks up third win Tuesday
Nola allowed one run on five hits over eight innings against the Braves on Tuesday to pick up his third win of the season. He struck out six and walked one.
Nola needed just 97 pitches to go eight innings. This was a nice bounce-back game after he allowed nine runs over his previous two starts. Nola's strikeout rate of 7.9 is down from 9.8 last season, but it is in line with his 2015 rookie season when he finished the year with a 3.59 ERA. He'll try to keep things rolling when he faces the Cardinals in St. Louis in his next start.

Robbie Ray SP | SD
Diamondbacks' Robbie Ray: Whiffs season-high 11
Ray (6-3) held the Padres to a single run on three hits and two walks while striking out a season-high 11 over 6.2 innings in Tuesday's 10-2 win.
The fact that he gave up a run makes this Ray's worst start in his last four, as he gave up exactly zero runs on eight hits in his prior three outings combined. It's been a magical season for the hard-throwing lefty, who's finally found a formula to keep his BABIP under control while maintaining his sparkling strikeout rate. Pitching in Arizona may cause that 2.85 ERA to rise a bit, but Ray can't be considered anything other than a rock-solid fantasy starter at this point.

Antonio Senzatela RP | MIL
Rockies' Antonio Senzatela: Defeats visiting Indians for eighth win
Senzatela (8-2) held the Indians to three runs on six hits and a walk over 6.1 innings Tuesday, striking out four en route to an 11-3 home win.
He even helped his own cause at the plate, hitting a three-run double in the second inning. The rookie has been a curious case, as he's been noticeably better at Coors Field (where he's picked up six of his wins) than on the road, which isn't something you see too often from Rockies arms. However, Senzatela's luck-laden .255 BABIP, subpar 5.9 K/9 and deeply unfavorable home park should make fantasy owners wary of investing in him as anything other than a matchup-based play.

Jacob deGrom SP | TEX
Mets' Jacob deGrom: Blown up in Arlington
DeGrom (4-3) was rocked for eight runs on 10 hits in Tuesday's 10-8 loss to the Rangers. He struck out two and walked one.
The outing pushed the righty's ERA to 4.75 and WHIP to 1.44 -- never-before-seen numbers from a guy whose career-worst ERA was last season's 3.04. DeGrom is having a bizarre season, as his velocity is up and his strikeout rate is easily a career high (although he didn't miss many bats this time around), but his walk rate's risen too and he's been rather prone to the long ball. If there's a silver lining for deGrom, it's his 3.18 xFIP, which suggests he's gotten unlucky in many regards. Still, considering that he's been ripped for 15 runs over eight innings in his last two starts, fantasy owners should approach deGrom with some degree of trepidation heading into Sunday's start in Atlanta.

Braxton Garrett RP | CHC
Marlins' Braxton Garrett: Shut down with elbow ailment
Garrett is dealing with an elbow injury and has been shut down at Low-A Greensboro, Mike Rosenbaum of MLBPipeline reports.
The Marlins' top pitching prospect was off to an impressive start to his professional career with Low-A Greensboro, posting a 2.93 ERA and 16:6 K:BB ratio over his first 15.1 innings. It's currently unclear as to what the exact injury is, but it's a tough break for Garrett and the Marlins' organization nonetheless.

Jon Gray SP | TEX
Rockies' Jon Gray: Expects 2-to-3 rehab starts
Gray (foot) threw 36 pitches in a simulated game Tuesday and expects to throw another simulated game prior to embarking on a rehab assignment, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
Harding also reports that Gray fielded groundballs and threw to bases, which bodes well for the health of his foot. However, the Rockies' ace said that he anticipates needing two rehab starts before returning, although the team may require three. This pushes his return date to the end of the month, which would ultimately culminate in over a two-month absence due to the issue.

Seth Lugo SP | KC
Mets' Seth Lugo: Confirmed for Sunday start
Lugo (elbow) will start Sunday's game against the Braves, Matt Ehalt of The Record reports.
Lugo impressed during his rehab stint, so he'll rejoin the rotation as expected. He'll line up to face Atlanta left-hander Jaime Garcia for the final game of the weekend series, which will likely bump Tyler Pill and/or Robert Gsellman from the rotation depending on how the Mets opt to manage their rotation moving forward.

Steven Matz RP | TB
Mets' Steven Matz: Confirmed for Saturday start
Matz (elbow) has been named the starter for one of the Mets' games Saturday against the Braves, Matt Ehalt of The Record reports.
It's uncertain which game of the doubleheader Matz will toss, but it confirms a previous notion that he'd be ready for action this weekend. This likely will line him up to face a starter from the Braves' Triple-A affiliate, although official word on that front has yet to come forth. This news, paired with the upcoming activation of Seth Lugo (elbow), likely means that Tyler Pill and Robert Gsellman will lose their rotation spots.
