Bellozo (2-1) earned the win Tuesday over the Phillies, allowing four hits and one walk over seven scoreless innings. He struck out four.

It was an impressive performance from Bellozo against a potent Phillies lineup -- the 24-year-old right-hander has now won back-to-back starts while delivering 12.2 scoreless innings. Bellozo doesn't have overpowering stuff, but he's shown an ability to limit hard contact early in his MLB career. Bellozo's ERA is down to 2.28 with a 0.94 WHIP and 23:6 K:BB through his first five outings (27.2 innings). He's currently lined up to face the Diamondbacks at home in his next start.

Fedde (8-6) took the loss against the Reds on Tuesday, allowing four runs on six hits and two walks with two strikeouts over six innings.

Fedde generated plenty of weak contact, but he registered only six whiffs on 89 pitches and was burned by two home runs. He has failed to log a quality start in three outings with the Cardinals, yielding 10 earned runs over 16 innings. On the season, the 31-year-old owns a 3.40 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 120:38 K:BB across 137.2 frames and lines up for a home matchup with the Brewers next week.

Greene (9-4) earned the win against the Cardinals on Tuesday, allowing one run one four hits and one walk with eight strikeouts over seven innings.

Greene dominated until yielding a solo homer to Nolan Arenado in the seventh inning. Since July 6, Greene has gone 4-0 with seven consecutive quality starts, including four seven-inning efforts. The 25-year-old owns a 2.83 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 162:53 K:BB across 143.1 innings this season and lines up for a road matchup with the Blue Jays next week.

Yamamoto (triceps) threw about 40 pitches during a bullpen session Tuesday and is scheduled to face hitters Friday, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

The right-hander continues to build toward a rehab assignment, and Friday's session could go a long way toward clearing him for game action. Yamamoto will likely require multiple outings in the minors before rejoining the Dodgers, so he shouldn't be expected to be reinstated until at least the end of August.

Cavalli (elbow) reported to the Nationals' Florida Complex League affiliate Tuesday, Bobby Blanco of MASNSports.com reports.

Cavalli was sent to resume his minor-league rehab assignment at High-A Wilmington on July 26 but never appeared in a game for the team. Now, he'll join the Nationals' FCL affiliate. Manager Dave Martinez said that Cavalli will be ramping up his arm in Florida with the hopes of returning to a mound before the end of the season. It's unclear what resulted in the multi-week setback for Cavalli, who was already behind schedule after an illness forced him to halt his rehab assignment in late June. Cavalli shouldn't be expected back for several weeks.

Suarez (back) is tentatively lined up to rejoin the Phillies' rotation during their Aug. 23-25 series in Kansas City, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Suarez threw a simulated game Tuesday, which was the first time he's faced hitters since he went down with lower-back soreness in late July. He'll face hitters again Sunday, either in another simulated setting or in a rehab start with Triple-A Lehigh Valley. If Suarez comes out of that with no issues, he will be cleared to rejoin the rotation the following weekend.

Scott (elbow) played catch Monday and Tuesday, Laura Albanese of Newsday reports.

It's the first bit of throwing he's done since he was diagnosed with a sprained UCL in his right elbow in late July. Scott threw 35 fastballs from 75 feet Tuesday and will progress to 90 feet in his next throwing session. There's no timetable for the rookie right-hander's return, but it will take multiple weeks for him to become game-ready.

The Phillies activated Walker (finger) from the 15-day injured list to start Tuesday's game versus the Marlins.

The right-hander has been sidelined since late June due to inflammation in his right index finger, but he'll rejoin Philadelphia's rotation Tuesday against the Marlins. Walker made two minor-league rehab starts and threw 60 pitches over five frames in the second of those outings, so he'll likely have some minor workload limitations in his first couple starts back with the Phillies. He turns 32 years old Tuesday and has a 5.60 ERA, 1.49 WHIP and 43:21 K:BB across 53 innings this season.

The Dodgers announced Tuesday that Ryan (elbow) will require Tommy John surgery, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

The 25-year-old suffered a torn UCL in his forearm during Saturday's start against the Pirates and will miss the rest of the season, and likely all of 2025. Ryan received his first taste of the majors this summer and posted a 1.33 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 18:9 K:BB across 20.1 innings. It's unclear when exactly he'll undergo the procedure, but he likely won't be back to full strength until spring training in 2026.

Blackburn has thrown his cutter and changeup more, at the expense of his four-seam fastball and curveball, since joining the Mets, Tim Britton of The Athletic reports.

While the Mets' coaching staff didn't explicitly tell the right-hander to drop the curve and four-seamer from his arsenal, they did encourage Blackburn to lean more on the pitches that graded out the best. "I know my cutter is one of my better, if not my best pitch, analytically," Blackburn said. "I'm just kind of taking that and running with it. Really just using my best pitch as much as possible... There were times earlier this year where I did get beat on some fastballs, and after the fact, it's like 'What am I doing? Throwing my fourth- or fifth-best pitch?' " Blackburn has been a strong addition to the Mets' rotation since being acquired at the trade deadline, delivering back-to-back quality starts -- including one at Coors Field -- with a 12:4 K:BB in 12 innings.
