Povich is expected to work in bulk relief behind opening pitcher Scott Blewett in Sunday's game against the Angels, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Povich was initially penciled in to start Sunday, but he's given up 12 runs in his past three starts, and the Orioles will instead utilize an opener with the hope that it yields better results. Baltimore hasn't officially announced their pitching plans for Sunday after Blewett exits the game, but Povich is still a strong bet to pitch.

The Rockies transferred Feltner (back) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Sunday.

Feltner made his last start for the Rockies on April 28 before being shut down due to back spasms. The right-hander was initially expected to be in line for a brief stay on the IL, but his return date was pushed back when he experienced back tightness leading up to a rehab start in late May. Feltner has since resumed throwing bullpen sessions at the team's spring training complex in Arizona, but he has yet to resume facing hitters and will likely need to make multiple rehab starts before returning to the big-league rotation, perhaps shortly before the All-Star break.

The Rockies reinstated Gomber (shoulder) from the 60-day injured list ahead of his scheduled start Sunday in Atlanta.

Gomber will be making his 2025 debut after suffering a left shoulder injury in spring training and then experiencing a setback during a March 28 rehab start with Triple-A Albuquerque. He was cleared to resume his rehab assignment June 4, and after covering four innings in starts with Double-A Hartford and Albuquerque, Gomber is ready to slot back into the Colorado rotation. The southpaw tossed 69 pitches during his most recent appearance Tuesday and could be capped at around 80 or 90 pitches Sunday.

Greene (groin/back) will head to Goodyear (Ariz.) for rehab and treatment, MLB.com reports.

A recent MRI confirmed Greene has a Grade 1 groin strain, and the right-hander was given an epidural for the back. Grade 1 is the mildest of the groin strains, which might indicate a minimum stay on the 15-day injured list, but the back issue has an undetermined recovery time. His return could push out to early July.

The Tigers recalled Owens from Triple-A Toledo on Sunday, Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic reports.

The right-hander was up with the Tigers briefly in early May and will rejoin the big club Sunday after John Brebbia was designated for assignment. Owens made two scoreless appearances during his previous stint with Detroit but has a 5.74 ERA, 1.79 WHIP and 23:17 K:BB across 26.2 innings with Toledo this season.

Gipson-Long is expected to work in relief behind opening pitcher Tyler Holton against the Reds on Sunday, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Gipson-Long worked behind an opener in his previous outing Tuesday and gave up one run across 4.2 frames in a no-decision against the Orioles. The right-hander has a 4.32 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 8:1 K:BB through his first two appearances of 2025 after being sidelined for the first two months of the season while recovering from elbow and hip surgeries.

Woods Richardson is listed as the Twins' probable starting pitcher for Sunday's game against the Astros in Houston.

Woods Richardson was summoned from Triple-A St. Paul earlier this week and made his eighth start of the season for the Twins on Tuesday, taking a loss while lasting just 4.2 innings. Despite the poor outing, Woods Richardson will get another turn with Pablo Lopez (shoulder) and Zebby Matthews (shoulder) both on the injured list.

Dollander (2-7) took the loss Saturday, allowing four runs (three earned) on six hits and three walks over six innings against Atlanta. He struck out four.

Dollander allowed plenty of baserunners but managed to complete six innings for the second time in 11 big-league starts while keeping Colorado within striking distance. Like the rest of the pitching staff, the rookie has endured significant struggles this season, posting a 6.57 ERA and 1.54 WHIP across 50.2 innings.

Strider (1-5) earned the win Saturday, allowing three hits and one walk over six scoreless innings against the Rockies. He struck out 13.

​​Strider returned to form Saturday, racking up a season-high 13 strikeouts in a dominant outing. The right-hander's 2025 campaign has been challenging to say the least, as a hamstring injury derailed his return from elbow surgery. On the season, the 26-year-old owns a 4.35 ERA and 1.16 WHIP over 31 innings in six starts.

Lorenzen (4-7) took the loss Saturday, allowing three runs on four hits and three walks over six innings against the Athletics. He struck out four.

The right-hander was burned by extra-base hits with men on base, surrendering a two-run homer to Max Muncy in the second inning and an RBI double to Luis Urias in the fourth inning. Lorenzen has endured a rough stretch of late, posting a 7.40 ERA and 1.64 WHIP over 24.1 innings across his past five starts. Cole Ragans' shoulder injury slightly thins the Royals' rotation depth, but Lorenzen will still need to elevate his performance to retain his spot.
