Morton (0-4) allowed five runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out two in five innings in a loss to the Guardians on Tuesday.

Morton's struggles continued, as he's now given up four-plus earned runs in six straight starts (dating back to the end of last season) for the first time in his 18-year career. Walks in the third contributed to the Guardians' first run of the game and they poured on three more in the fifth, including a two-run homer from Steven Kwan. Morton will continue to stick in the rotation while the Orioles' top two starters are on the shelf. He lines up to face the Reds in Baltimore on Sunday.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said after Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Rockies that Knack will be optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Wednesday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Knack made his third appearance and second start of the season for the Dodgers on Tuesday, taking a no-decision while giving up two earned runs on four hits and two walks while striking out two. The Dodgers gave the 27-year-old right-hander plenty of run support early, but Knack was still lifted after 65 pitches (41 strikes), two outs shy of qualifying for the win. With the Dodgers requiring a spot starter for Wednesday's series finale, Bobby Miller will get called up from Oklahoma City, and Knack will be sent back to the minors in a corresponding move. An off day Thursday along with additional off days next Monday and Thursday will likely allow Los Angeles to get by with a five-man rotation for the time being, and Knack may not be needed to start once the Dodgers transition back to a six-man setup by late April or early May. Tony Gonsolin (back) got stretched out to 66 pitches in his latest rehab outing with Oklahoma City on Tuesday and could be activated ahead of Knack the next time the Dodgers need a starter.

Allen (1-1) tossed 5.2 scoreless innings in a win over the Orioles on Tuesday, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out six.

Allen mowed down the Orioles, allowing just two base knocks to Cedric Mullins and Gunnar Henderson. After showing poor command in his 2025 debut, Allen has looked like a completely different pitcher. He's given up one run in his last 10.1 innings while averaging just under a strikeout per inning. Allen owns a 2.30 ERA and 1.40 WHIP and lines up for a favorable matchup versus the Pirates this weekend.

Feltner (0-1) took the loss Tuesday, coughing up five runs on five hits and six walks over 2.2 innings as the Rockies fell 6-2 to the Dodgers. He struck out one.

The big blow off Feltner was a three-run homer by Will Smith in the third inning, but the right-hander created his own problems with his difficulty getting the ball over the plate. He came into Tuesday having issued only four free passes in his first three starts, but Feltner tossed just 46 of 81 pitches for strikes in this trip to the mound before getting the hook. He'll take a 4.82 ERA, 1.61 WHIP and 17:10 K:BB through 18.2 innings into his next outing, which lines up to come on the road early next week in Kansas City.

Vasquez didn't factor into the decision in Tuesday's 2-1 extra-inning loss to the Cubs, allowing one run on seven hits and two walks over five-plus innings. He struck out two.

The right-hander blanked the Cubbies for five frames before running out of gas in the sixth, as he gave up back-to-back singles to Dansby Swanson and Nico Hoerner before getting the hook, with Adrian Morejon then letting one of the inherited runners cross the plate. Vasquez left the mound after 80 pitches (51 strikes), and while his 8:14 K:BB through 20.2 innings is worrisome, he'll carry a 1.74 ERA and 1.35 WHIP into his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road early next week in Detroit.

Imanaga came away with a no-decision in Tuesday's 2-1 extra-inning win over the Padres, giving up one unearned run on four hits and three walks over five innings. He struck out seven.

After escaping jams in the third and fourth innings, Imanaga's luck ran out in the fifth when both Kyle Tucker and Gage Workman dropped pop flies in foul territory, giving Manny Machado a third life which he used to launch a solo homer. It was the only blemish on the southpaw's line, as he tossed 64 of 93 pitches for strikes before exiting. Imanaga will take a 2.22 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 21:10 K:BB through 28.1 innings over five starts into his next outing, which lines up to come at home early next week against the Dodgers.

Mahle (3-0) picked up the win in Tuesday's 4-0 victory over the Angels, allowing three hits and two walks over six scoreless innings. He struck out a season-high nine.

The right-hander only ran into any kind of trouble in the fourth inning, when a one-out walk to Mike Trout followed by a Jorge Soler single put runners on first and third, but Mahle buckled down and fanned Travis d'Arnaud and Nolan Schanuel to escape the jam. Mahle has had a brilliant, and more importantly healthy, beginning to the season, posting a 0.92 ERA, 0.86 WHIP and 21:9 K:BB through 19.2 innings over four trips to the mound. He's set for a tough test in his next outing, which is scheduled to come at home this weekend against the Dodgers.

Kikuchi (0-3) took the loss Tuesday, allowing one run on three hits and two walks over six innings as the Angels were downed 4-0 by the Rangers. He struck out six.

The southpaw produced his third quality start in four outings to begin the season, but a lack of run support kept Kikuchi out of the win column once again -- the Halos have scored a total of 10 runs in his four trips to the mound. Kikuchi tossed 51 of 79 pitches for strikes before exiting, and he'll take a 4.13 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 22:10 K:BB through 24 innings into his next start, which lines up to come at home this weekend against the Giants.

Flaherty (1-1) allowed three runs on five hits and two walks while striking out four in 4.2 innings in a loss to the Brewers on Tuesday.

Flaherty had a troublesome second inning, which started with a solo home run from Rhys Hoskins followed by a triple from Sal Frelick, who also ended up scoring. Flaherty was eventually pulled at 98 pitches after walking William Contreras to bring Christian Yelich up to the plate. Tuesday marked just the second time since the start of last season that Flaherty failed to reach five innings. He's been an excellent complement to Tarik Skubal in the rotation, posting a 2.53 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 25:9 K:BB in 21.1 innings so far. Flaherty lines up to face a tough Padres team at home next week.

Priester (1-0) allowed just one hit and walked three over five scoreless innings in a win against the Tigers on Tuesday. He struck out four.

Priester was dominant in his first home start as a member of the Brewers. He did not give up a hit until the very last batter he faced, which was a leadoff double in the sixth by Gleyber Torres, leading to a pitching change with the game being close. Priester's been an excellent acquisition for the Brewers early on, allowing just one run on seven hits in 10 innings. He lines up for a road start in San Francisco next week.
