The Dodgers are expected to recall Knack from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

With River Ryan (forearm) heading to the IL after suffering an in-game injury Saturday, Knack will join the 26-man roster to pitch out of the bullpen. Knack has started in eight of his nine appearances for the Dodgers this season, logging a 3.07 ERA across 44.0 innings. He should handle a long-relief role during his stint in Los Angeles.

Kelly (shoulder) will be reinstated from the 60-day injured list to start Sunday's game against the Phillies, Jesse Friedman of GoPHNX.com reports.

As expected, Kelly will take the mound for Arizona on Sunday for the first time since April. The 35-year-old threw 62 pitches in his lone minor-league start, so he should be under some sort of pitch count during his MLB return. Kelly allowed three runs on six hits and no walks across four innings during the minor-league outing and may need to shake off some rust before recapturing his early 2024 form.

Flexen allowed three hits and four walks while striking out one over four scoreless innings in a no-decision versus the Cubs on Saturday.

Flexen was generous, but the Cubs didn't strike until he was out of the game. The right-hander threw just 40 of 78 pitches for strikes while failing to complete five innings for the fourth time in his last five appearances. He's on a 17-start winless skid, and he's pitched to a 5.34 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 84:50 K:BB over 118 innings over 25 appearances (23 starts) in 2024. Flexen's next outing is projected to be at Houston.

Ryan (forearm) will undergo an MRI on Sunday to discern the severity of his injury and will be placed on the injured list, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.

Ryan was removed from Saturday's start against the Pirates in the fifth inning due to forearm tightness, and the injury is more significant than initially expected. Gallen was removed from his start in Saturday's 11-1 win over the Phillies due to general body cramps, but he doesn't expect to miss time, Jesse Friedman of GoPHNX.com reports.

Fantasy managers can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that Gallen didn't sustain an injury Saturday and was merely experiencing cramping. Despite getting ample run support, the 28-year-old fell short of reaching the five frames he needed to qualify for the win, as he covered 4.1 innings and struck out three batters while yielding one run on five hits and two walks prior to departing. Gallen is tentatively scheduled to pitch during a three-game road series against the Rays next weekend.

Rodriguez (1-5) took the loss against the Athletics on Saturday, allowing one run on five hits and one walk with five strikeouts over 5.2 innings.

Rodriguez was locked in a pitcher's duel with Osvaldo Bido before surrendering a solo homer to Brent Rooker in the sixth inning, and that was all the Athletics would need for the win. Rodriguez reached a season-high 85 pitches and has yielded two earned runs or fewer in nine of 12 starts this season. The 27-year-old owns a 3.60 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 52:25 K:BB across 50 innings and lines up for a road matchup with the Cubs next week.

Daniel is a candidate to pitch Monday against the Blue Jays on regular rest, though the Angels haven't released their probable starters for the three-game home series.

With a rainout forcing the Angels into a doubleheader Wednesday, the team was in need of a starter for Sunday's game and recalled Kochanowicz from Double-A Rocket City to fill the void. The 23-year-old has made two starts for the Angels this season, surrendering 11 runs across seven frames. He isn't a recommended streaming option for Sunday.
