Soriano (5-7) allowed one run on five hits and four walks while striking out five over six innings to earn the win Saturday over the Mariners.

Soriano picked up his first win in three starts since he returned from an abdominal infection. While the four walks were his most in his last eight starts, he was able limit the damage and come away with the win in the low-scoring contest. The right-hander is now at a 3.71 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 72:34 K:BB through 87.1 innings over 17 appearances (15 starts) this season. Soriano threw 87 pitches (59 strikes) Saturday and should be clear for a full workload in the second half.

The Dodgers transferred Yamamoto (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Saturday, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Yamamoto won't be eligible for activation until Aug. 15, but considering he just started playing catch from 60 feet this week, he likely wouldn't have been ready to return before mid-August anyway. The transaction clears room on the 40-man roster for right-hander Brent Honeywell, who was claimed off waivers from Pittsburgh on Saturday. Yamamoto has been shelved since June 16 and will likely require multiple minor-league rehab starts before being reinstated from the IL.

Birdsong allowed two runs (one earned) on two hits and three walks while striking out three over five innings in a no-decision versus the Twins on Friday.

Birdsong continues to put in passable performances without standing out. The rookie right-hander has also walked multiple batters in all four of his big-league appearances, and his three strikeouts were a season low. He's pitched to a reasonable 3.72 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 18:10 K:BB over 19.1 innings so far. It's unclear if Birdsong will stay in the Giants' rotation following the All-Star break, though that decision likely won't come to a head until Alex Cobb (hip/shoulder) and/or Robbie Ray (elbow) are ready for their season debuts.

Woods Richardson allowed two runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out seven over 4.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Giants on Saturday.

This was the first time since June 14 that Woods Richardson failed to complete five frames. He didn't allow too much, but he left with the game tied at 2-2 before the Twins pulled ahead later. The right-hander has gone five starts without allowing more than two runs. For the year, he has a 3.51 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 71:24 K:BB through 82 innings across 16 starts.

Gil (10-5) earned the win against the Orioles on Saturday, allowing one run on five hits and one walk with seven strikeouts over six innings.

Gil allowed a run in the fourth but was otherwise fantastic, finishing with two perfect innings and departing with a 6-1 lead. The righty generated 15 swinging strikes and will head into the All-Star break with some momentum after yielding just two runs over his past two outings. On the season, he owns a 3.17 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 118:49 K:BB across 102.1 innings

Rodriguez (11-4) took the loss against the Yankees on Saturday, allowing six runs on eight hits and one walk with seven strikeouts over five innings.

Rodriguez allowed a season-high three home runs, including a three-run homer in the first inning and back-to-back long balls to Juan Soto and Aaron Judge in the fifth. He generated 13 swinging strikes on 91 pitches but was burned by his mistakes, breaking a run of three consecutive quality-start victories. The 24-year-old will take a 3.88 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 112:31 K:BB across 99.2 innings into the All-Star break.

Phillips (1-0) earned the win against the Athletics on Saturday, allowing four runs on six hits and no walks with five strikeouts over six innings.

Phillips allowed two runs over his first six innings but stumbled in the seventh, yielding two more runs without recording an out. He threw an impressive 51 strikes on 79 pitches with 11 whiffs and pitched well enough to secure the first win of his career. It remains to be seen what the rookie's role will be after the All-Star break, but he has a good shot to stay in the mix until either Taijuan Walker (finger) or Spencer Turnbull (lat) returns from the injured list.

Cabrera (1-3) took the loss to the Reds on Saturday after allowing seven runs on six hits -- including four home runs -- over 3.1 innings. He struck out seven without issuing a walk.

Spencer Steer, Rece Hinds, Elly De La Cruz and Jeimer Candelario all went yard against Cabrera in a nine-batter span. If there's a silver lining, it's the 7:0 K:BB and the fact that Cabrera induced 10 whiffs on 63 pitches. Still, he now has an 8.26 ERA and 1.59 WHIP in seven starts this season, with nine earned runs allowed over seven innings in two starts since his return from a shoulder injury. He has strikeout upside but is an extremely risky play in fantasy.

Abbott allowed five runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out four over 3.1 innings in a no-decision against the Marlins on Saturday.

The Cincinnati offense provided 10 runs of support (seven against opposing starter Edward Cabrera), but Abbott couldn't take advantage in what looked like a highly favorable matchup on paper. Abbott allowed a pair of homers and induced a modest eight swings and misses on 78 pitches. It was a disappointing way to end his first half after he'd posted a 2.70 ERA over his previous seven starts, and there may be more regression ahead, but regardless the 25-year-old lefty is locked into a rotation spot for the Reds.

Lugo (11-4) took the loss against Boston on Saturday, allowing five runs on 10 hits and one walk while striking out six batters over five innings.

It was a great first half overall for Lugo, who was recently named an All-Star for the first time in his career. However, the veteran hurler didn't have his best stuff Saturday, as he yielded a season-high 10 hits, while the five runs tied a season-worst mark. Lugo will still enter the break with a 2.48 ERA (fourth best among qualified pitchers) and 11 wins along with a 1.09 WHIP and 116:30 K:BB over 127.0 innings.
