Wacha (1-2) was charged with the loss in Game 2 of Wednesday's doubleheader against the White Sox after he gave up two runs on four hits and two walks across six innings. He struck out four.

The right-hander allowed only single tallies in the fourth and sixth innings, but that was enough to saddle him with the loss as Kansas City mustered just one run. It's the second quality start of the season for Wacha, and he's lasted at least five frames in all four of his starts. The 32-year-old has a 3.75 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 21:6 K:BB over 24 innings.

Stroman did not factor into the decision Wednesday against Toronto, allowing two runs on six hits and two walks over. 5.1 innings. He struck out two.

Daulton Varsho's two-run homer in the second inning accounted for the only runs against Stroman, but the Yankees couldn't take the lead until the ninth, leaving the right-hander with a no-decision. Stroman hasn't earned a win since his first start of the year against Houston -- overall, he's 1-1 with a 2.42 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 19:9 K:BB through his first four starts (22.1 innings). Stroman's currently slated to face the A's at home in his next start.

Fedde (1-0) earned the win in Game 2 of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Royals after he allowed three hits and three walks over 5.2 scoreless innings. He struck out five.

It's Fedde's first win since Sept. 4, 2022 as he delivered his best start of the season in Wednesday's nightcap. The right-hander generated 30 combined called and swinging strikes and didn't allow a baserunner to reach third base. Through four starts Fedde now has a 3.10 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 19:9 K:BB across 20.1 innings.

Gausman did not factor into the decision Wednesday against the Yankees, allowing a run on four hits and three walks over five innings. He struck out six.

It was certainly a step in the right direction for Gausman, who'd allowed 11 earned runs over just five innings in his previous two outings. The right-hander held New York scoreless until Juan Soto's two-out RBI double in the fifth inning. Overall, Gausman is 0-2 on the year with a still-rough 8.16 ERA, 1.74 WHIP and 16:5 K:BB across four starts (14.1 innings). He'll look to build on Wednesday's effort in his next outing, currently scheduled for early next week in Kansas City.

Lively (0-1) took the loss Wednesday, allowing two runs on three hits and one walk with seven strikeouts over five innings against Boston.

Although Lively was impressive in his first start of the campaign, he wasn't as good as Tanner Houck, who pitched a complete-game shutout. Lively ran into a bit of trouble in the third and fourth innings, bringing in Pablo Reyes on a balk in the third before surrendering a solo homer to Connor Wong in the fourth. With Gavin Williams (elbow) set to miss at least one more trip around the rotation, Lively should receive some opportunities to build on Wednesday's performance. His first chance to do so is tentatively set to come Tuesday in a rematch with the Red Sox.

Houck improved to 3-1 in Wednesday's 2-0 win over the Guardians, allowing three hits and no walks while striking out nine over nine shutout innings.

Houck was absurdly efficient in his first career complete-game shutout, needing just 94 pitches (69 strikes) to finish nine frames. He hasn't allowed a run in three of his four starts this season and has punched out seven or more in all but one start. He boasts a 1.35 ERA with a 28:2 K:BB over 26.2 innings in 2024, a massive jump from his 5.01 ERA from a season ago. Houck is tentatively scheduled for a rematch with the Guardians on Tuesday.

Feltner (1-2) took the loss Wednesday, allowing six runs on nine hits and two walks over 5.1 innings against Philadelphia. He struck out eight.

The Phillies teed off on Feltner in the first inning, starting the game with back-to-back solo shots by Kyle Schwarber and Trea Turner as part of a four-run frame. Though Feltner settled in afterward, the damage was already done. Wednesday's outing was the first hiccup in what's been a very successful start to the 2024 campaign for Feltner. Before facing the Phillies, Feltner had allowed three or fewer earned runs in each of his three starts. He's lined up to make his next start Tuesday against the Padres at Coors Field.

Sanchez (1-2) earned the win Wednesday, allowing one unearned run on five hits and one walk with 10 strikeouts over six innings against Colorado.

Sanchez was incredible Wednesday, tying his career high in strikeouts without allowing an earned run. Although Brenton Doyle did cross the plate in the first inning, Doyle reached base on an error by Alec Bohm. Sanchez has delivered back-to-back quality starts and owns a 10.5 K/9 -- a career high as it stands -- across four starts. He's tentatively scheduled for a matchup with the Reds at Great American Ball Park on April 24.

Severino (2-1) picked up the win Wednesday in a 9-1 victory over the Pirates, allowing one unearned run on five hits and three walks over six innings. He struck out four.

Henry Davis reached base to lead off the third inning on a catcher's interference call against Francisco Alvarez and came around to score, but that was the only damage on Severino's line. The right-hander produced his first quality start of the season on 96 pitches (61 strikes), and his 2.14 ERA comes with a 21:9 K:BB through four outings and 21 innings. Severino will take the mound next on the road early next week in San Francisco.

Falter (1-1) took the loss Wednesday, giving up two runs on four hits and a walk over five innings as the Pirates fell 9-1 to the Mets. He struck out four.

The 26-year-old southpaw served up a two-run homer to Starling Marte in the third inning, but he otherwise shut New York down over 73 pitches (47 strikes). Unfortunately for Pittsburgh, Luis Severino was a little bit better for the home squad. Falter has been tagged for only three runs over his last three starts and 16 innings, lowering his ERA to 4.05, but his 10:5 K:BB through 20 frames on the year highlights his limited fantasy ceiling. He lines up to make his next start at home early next week against the Brewers.
