Corbin (0-3) took the loss Tuesday against the Dodgers, allowing five runs on nine hits and four walks while striking out five over 6.1 innings.

Corbin just continues to eat up innings for the Nationals. He's now allowed at least four runs in each of his last six starts dating back to last season. The Dodgers got to him for three runs in the first two innings before Enrique Hernandez took him deep in the fifth. Corbin managed to get into the seventh but was pulled with one out and runners on the corners and the Dodgers would tack on another run before the inning concluded. The 34-year-old owns an 8.06 ERA, 1.97 WHIP and 15:8 K:BB in 22.1 innings. He's allowed 36 hits over four starts thus far and is set for a rematch with the Dodgers next week.

Rodon (1-1) took the loss Tuesday, giving up three runs on five hits and four walks over four innings as the Yankees fell 5-4 to Toronto. He struck out five.

The veteran southpaw kept the ball in the park, but he needed 101 pitches (62 strikes) to record 12 outs in an uneven performance. Rodon has failed to last five innings in two of his first four starts this season, posting a 3.66 ERA, 1.68 WHIP and 18:11 K:BB through 19.2 innings, but he lines up for a plum assignment at home in his next trip to the mound, which should come early next week against the A's.

Civale came away with a no-decision in Tuesday's 7-6 extra-innings win over the Angels, giving up three runs on five hits over six innings. He struck out eight without walking a batter.

The right-hander tossed 65 of 101 pitches for strikes and generated 31 called or swinging strikes, but homers by Mickey Moniak and Logan O'Hoppe in the fourth inning had Civale in line for his second loss of the year until the Rays rallied in the ninth inning, eventually winning in the 13th. Civale has delivered three quality starts in his first four trips to the mound this season, and he'll carry a 2.74 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 26:4 K:BB through 23 innings into his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road this weekend against the Yankees.

Sears did not factor into the decision in Tuesday's loss to the Cardinals, allowing one run on two hits and three walks while striking out two in five innings.

Sears was effective for a second straight start, but his strikeout numbers remain unimpressive. The 28-year-old struck out 161 batters in 172.1 innings last year but currently sits at a 9:9 K:BB in 20.2 innings through four starts so far this season. He's now allowed just one run over his last 11.1 innings after giving up nine runs in 9.1 innings over his first two starts to open up the year. Sears owns a 4.35 ERA and 1.16 WHIP and lines up to face the Yankees on the road next week.

Lynn (1-0) got the win over the Athletics on Tuesday, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits and a walk while striking out one over seven innings.

Lynn secured his first win as a member of the Cardinals since 2017, with the only damage against him being a fifth-inning solo home run from Kyle McCann. Tuesday marked just the second time in Lynn's lengthy career he picked up a win while striking out one batter or zero. He's allowed one earned run or fewer in three of four starts and currently owns a 2.18 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 19:7 K:BB in 20.2 innings. Lynn projects to take the mound again next week in a home start against the Diamondbacks.

Greene did not factor into the decision in Tuesday's loss to the Mariners. He allowed one run on four hits and three walks while striking out eight over four innings.

Greene was inefficient in this one, needing 98 pitches to get through four frames. He navigated out of a bases-loaded jam in the third by striking out Mitch Haniger to end the inning, but Greene was unable to escape the fourth unscathed as Jonatan Clase knocked in Mitch Garver with a double. Greene has now failed to reach five innings in two of four starts this year and in those two starts he's issued at least three walks. Still, he's allowed two runs or fewer three times and will take a 4.35 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 30:9 K:BB (20.2 innings) into his next start, which projects to come against Philadelphia next week.

Gilbert (1-0) earned the win over the Reds on Tuesday, allowing just one run on three hits and a walk while striking out six over 6.2 innings.

Gilbert put together another stellar outing and was able to face the minimum through four innings before the Reds tacked on a run in the fifth. Tuesday's outing marks his third start in four tries this season going at least 6.2 innings and giving up one earned run or fewer. He now owns a 2.33 ERA, 0.78 WHIP and 29:4 K:BB in 27 innings. His 0.78 WHIP is tied for third in the majors among pitchers who have thrown at least 20 innings this year. Gilbert projects to take the mound again next week in a road matchup against the Rangers.

McCullers (forearm) has begun throwing off the slope of the mound in recent days, MLB.com reports.

McCullers is recovering from surgery to repair his flexor tendon, though his buildup will be significant as he has not appeared in a big-league game since the 2022 postseason. There is no precise timetable for his return to the mound, but it was previously reported that McCullers was hoping to be activated in late June.

Garcia (elbow) threw a bullpen session Tuesday, MLB.com reports.

Garcia is working his way back from Tommy John surgery and resumed throwing bullpen sessions in April. He's still several months away from a return to the mound, as he'll need to continue to build up his arm strength before embarking on a lengthy rehab assignment.

Knack will be recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City to start Wednesday against the Nationals, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts confirmed after Tuesday's win that Knack will make his major-league debut Wednesday in the series finale against Washington. A second-round pick out of East Tennessee State in 2020, Knack advanced to Triple-A last season and has posted a 3.22 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 54:22 K:BB in 13 total starts for Oklahoma City (58.2 innings). Knack has joined the team in Los Angeles but will need to be officially added to the 26-man roster ahead of Wednesday's game.
