Priester is scheduled to work in bulk relief behind opening pitcher DL Hall in Wednesday's game against the Reds, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Milwaukee will go back to the Hall/Priester combination after the two successfully worked in tandem this past Friday against the Phillies. In that game, Hall opened the contest with three no-hit, shutout innings, while Priester followed with six innings of two-run ball to earn the win. Hall could work slightly deeper into Wednesday's contest if he's efficient with his pitch count, but Priester still profiles as the Milwaukee pitcher most likely to factor into the decision.

Garcia (elbow) threw a bullpen session Sunday, MLB.com reports.

It's unclear how hard or how many pitches Garcia threw, but manager Joe Espada did note that the session went well. While this is a positive step forward, Garcia is expected to be sidelined until at least late July.

The Reds transferred Lowder (forearm/oblique) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Wednesday.

The transaction frees up a spot on the 40-man roster for lefty Wade Miley, who was signed Wednesday. Lowder originally went on the 15-day IL with a right forearm strain but more recently suffered a left oblique strain while on a rehab assignment. The righty remains shut down with the oblique issue, and it's unclear when he'll be ready to resume his rehab assignment.

McClanahan (triceps) threw a short box bullpen session Tuesday and has a full bullpen session scheduled for Friday, MLB.com reports.

The Rays continue to offer optimistic news about McClanahan, as imaging has revealed no structural issues with his arm. He'll continue to ramp up his throwing intensity but will be sidelined until after the All-Star break.

The Reds re-signed Miley to a one-year contract Wednesday.

Miley opted out of his minor-league contract over the weekend, but he's returned to replace the injured Hunter Greene (groin) on the Reds' active roster and should slide into Greene's vacated rotation spot. The veteran left-hander missed most of 2024 following a hybrid UCL repair surgery and recently posted a 5.93 ERA, 1.68 WHIP and 7:4 K:BB in 13.2 innings at Triple-A Louisville. Per Charlie Goldsmith of the Dayton Daily News, Miley will be available out of the bullpen Wednesday, but he's lined up to make his first start for the Reds on Monday in Cleveland.

The Reds placed Greene on the 15-day injured list Wednesday with a right groin strain.

Greene was hurt during Tuesday's start against the Brewers. It's the same injury that caused him to miss much of May, although the Reds are still awaiting MRI results to see what the severity is this time around. Manager Terry Francona said Wednesday that Greene also dealt with a lower-back issue during Tuesday's outing which may or may not have been related to the groin injury, per Charlie Goldsmith of the Dayton Daily News. Greene will be eligible for activation June 19, but the Reds might tread more carefully with him this time. Wade Miley has been signed to take Greene's roster spot and should also absorb his spot in the rotation.

Lopez suffered a lat strain on the back of his pitching shoulder during Tuesday's 10-3 win over the Athletics and is likely to be placed on the injured list, the Phil Miller of The Minnesota Star Tribune reports. "It's not the greatest news to hear, to have to deal with, but if there's a silver lining it's that it wasn't that posterior cuff or that I didn't feel anything blowing up," Lopez said after the game.

Lopez was removed in the sixth inning after feeling soreness in his shoulder after throwing warmup pitches. He was still able to come away with his fifth win of the season, giving up two earned runs on fur hits and three walks while striking out four over five frames. Lopez is set to undergo further testing Wednesday before the Twins confirm the diagnosis of a lat strain, but at least his initial outlook doesn't seem to be too ominous. Triple-A St. Paul starters David Festa and Simeon Woods Richardson would appear to be the leading candidates to enter the big-league rotation the next time Lopez's turn comes up.

Feltner (back) resumed throwing Monday but is not ready for game action, MLB.com reports.

Feltner suffered a setback and was scratched from a scheduled rehab outing May 27. It's a positive sign that he's been able to resume throwing since, but a return in late June appears to be the best-case scenario.

Alcantara did not factor in the decision during Tuesday's loss to Colorado. He allowed two runs on four hits and a walk while striking out four over six innings.

While he couldn't beat the worst team in MLB, Alcantara still snapped an ugly run that lasted over a month. He worked through four shutout frames before the Rockies plated a pair of runs in the fifth inning. Alcantara delivered his first quality start since April 23. He gave up at least four runs in each of his six outings between those two starts, resulting in a brutal 10.08 ERA over 27.2 frames. After three straight outings with at least 100 pitches thrown, he's thrown 71 and 70 pitches in his last two appearances. Still searching for his first win since April 12, Alcantara is expected to make his next start in Pittsburgh.

Bello came away with a no-decision in Tuesday's 4-3 extra-inning loss to the Angels, giving up three runs on seven hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out four.

After struggling to complete five innings in a start through most of May, Bello began June with a much sharper outing, tossing 65 of 103 pitches for strikes in his third quality start of the year. The 26-year-old right-hander will carry a 3.91 ERA, 1.61 WHIP and 33:24 K:BB through 46 innings into his next trip to the mound, which is scheduled to come at home early next week against the Rays.
