Festa, who hadn't pitched at Triple-A St. Paul since May 6 due to right arm fatigue, gave up one run over 3.2 innings with seven strikeouts and one walk in Friday's start for the Saints.

With both Zebby Matthews and Simeon Woods Richardson struggling in the fifth-starter role in the majors, Festa could get another shot at the big-league rotation if he can get back to full strength. The righty has pitched well both in the majors (1.38 ERA, 15:5 K:BB in 13 innings) and minors (3.60 ERA, 22:2 K:BB in 20 innings before Friday) this season.

Hancock (2-2) recorded the win Friday against the Astros after allowing three runs on nine hits and no walks in six innings. He struck out three.

Friday marked Hancock's first win since his third start of the season back in late April, and it was also his fourth qualify start in 2025. The 2020 first-rounder has surrendered six runs or greater on two occasions this year, but he's thrown five innings while conceding two runs or fewer in five other instances among his eight outings. Hancock's next turn in the rotation arrives next week versus the Nationals, and he owns a 5.95 ERA, 1.65 WHIP and 28:12 K:BB over 39.1 innings.

Mikolas (4-2) notched the win Friday against the Diamondbacks after allowing one run on four hits and one walk in six innings. He struck out four.

It was the third time this season that Mikolas hurled six innings, and he's given up one run or fewer in each of these instances. Additionally, the veteran right-hander has conceded greater than three runs on just one occasion in 2025, albeit during a nine-run implosion in his second start of the year that left a huge mark on his ratios. His lack of strikeout stuff will likely continue to limit his overall fantasy potential, but Mikolas still owns a quality 3.51 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 31:16 K:BB ahead of his next scheduled outing against the Orioles.

Gallen (3-6) took the loss Friday against the Cardinals after allowing four runs on three hits and four walks in 5.2 innings. He struck out four.

Despite giving up just three knocks, Gallen yielded at least four runs in his third straight start. The veteran right-hander also tied a season worst in walks, and it was a bases-clearing triple by Nolan Arenado that drove in a trio of runs in the sixth inning to end the hurler's night. Gallen continues to struggle in 2025, as he holds a 5.25 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 63:29 K:BB across 61.2 frames, but he'll have a prime opportunity to get back on track his next time out versus the Pirates, who are scoring a lowly 2.5 runs per game over their last 28 outings.

Lopez didn't factor into the decision Friday against the Royals after allowing one run on seven hits and no walks in 5.2 innings. He struck out five.

It was Lopez's sixth consecutive start of at least five innings and his eighth such effort this season. Although the right-hander has fanned more than six just one time this year, he's now thrown at least five frames while giving up two runs or fewer in seven of his nine appearances. Lopez will next carry a steady 2.31 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 54:9 K:BB over 50.2 innings into a favorable matchup against the Rays, who have a weak .635 OPS over their last 25 games.

Cameron didn't factor into the decision Friday against the Twins after allowing one run on four hits and one walk in 6.2 innings. He struck out eight.

Cameron entered Friday with six punchouts on the season, so he more than doubled that total by fanning eight Friday. The rookie left-hander has been impressive in the major leagues so far, having fired at least six innings while giving up one run or fewer in each of his first three career starts. Cameron will tote a sparkling 0.93 ERA, 0.67 WHIP and 14:6 K:BB through 19.1 innings into his next scheduled outing against the Reds, who have a .623 OPS versus left-handed pitching through their first 51 games.

Burke (3-5) came away with the win against the Rangers on Friday, allowing one run on three hits and three walks while striking out six across six innings.

Burke faced the minimum number of batters in three of the first five innings of Friday's game. His lone blemish came in the sixth on a Jake Burger RBI double, but Burke came away with the win and quality start after generating 10 whiffs and 19 first-pitch strikes on just 89 pitches (54 strikes). Burke has a 4.33 ERA and 1.46 WHIP across 54 innings this season, but he leads the majors with 30 walks. He's in line to make his next start on the road against the Mets next week.

Sale took a no-decision in Friday's 2-1 loss to San Diego, allowing one run on four hits and one walk while striking out six across seven innings.

Sale generated 15 whiffs on 95 pitches (64 strikes), and his lone blemish came in the second inning, when he yielded a solo home run to Gavin Sheets. Sale has logged at least seven strikeouts in seven of his last eight starts, and his 78 punchouts across 61.2 innings this season are tied with Garrett Crochet for fifth most in the majors. Sale will take a 3.36 ERA and 1.28 WHIP into his next start, tentatively slated for next week on the road against the Phillies.

Pivetta allowed one run on four hits and three walks while striking out seven across six innings in a no-decision against Atlanta on Friday.

Pivetta immediately put the Padres in a hole after yielding a home run to the returning Ronald Acuna on the first pitch of the first inning. Pivetta was able to get out of the first despite allowing two more baserunners, and the veteran right-hander kept Atlanta off the board for the rest of his outing, finishing with nine whiffs on 102 pitches (61 strikes). It was his second straight quality start and sixth of the season, and his 2.72 ERA and 1.01 WHIP (over 56.1 innings) rank ninth and fifth, respectively, among qualified starters in the National League. Pivetta is slated to take on the Marlins at home next week.

Gore exited Friday's game in the seventh inning due to left leg tightness, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Gore stayed in the game after getting hit in the leg by a comebacker during the second inning, but it seemed to bother him a bit more by the seventh. The Nationals aren't too concerned about the left-hander's availability going forward, so it sounds like he should be in good shape to make his next start -- tentatively scheduled to come Thursday in Seattle.
