Brooks Baldwin SS | CHW
White Sox's Brooks Baldwin: Notches second steal
Baldwin went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base and a run scored in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Mariners.
Baldwin earned the first multi-hit effort of his big-league career, and all three of his doubles in the majors have come over the last two games. He also picked up his second steal. Baldwin is still hitting just .207 over nine contests, but the White Sox appear committed to giving him a long look at second base in the second half. His speed is his best asset, but that won't shine through until he gets on base more consistently.

Javier Baez SS | DET
Tigers' Javier Baez: Blasts homer in third straight game
Baez went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Twins.
Baez has now gone deep in three straight games for the first time since 2022 and the third time overall in his career. After only going deep once in his first 63 games this season, Baez has seemed to have found his power stroke, at least temporarily. The 31-year-old still has a ways to go to be trusted for fantasy purposes with a .491 OPS for the season, but he's shown in the past that he can get hot fast.

Blue Jays' Eddinson Paulino: Dealt to Toronto
The Blue Jays acquired Paulino, infielder Cutter Coffey and right-hander Gilberto Batista from the Red Sox on Saturday in exchange for catcher Danny Jansen, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports.
Paulino has spent the 2024 season at the Double-A level, posting a .263/.349/.391 slash line with three home runs, 33 runs and 35 RBI in 278 plate appearances. The 21-year-old has played 37 games at third base, 20 at second base and 11 at shortstop this season.

Yankees' Anthony Volpe: Posts another multi-hit effort
Volpe went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, an additional run and a stolen base in Friday's loss to the Red Sox.
Volpe put the Yankees on the board in the second inning with a solo shot to center field and added a single in the fifth. Over that stretch, he's batting .344 with two home runs, five RBI, five runs and three stolen bases.

Rays' Taylor Walls: Sitting Saturday
Walls is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against Cincinnati, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Leonardo Jimenez SS | MIA
Blue Jays' Leo Jimenez: Not in Saturday's lineup
Jimenez isn't in Toronto's lineup Saturday versus the Rangers.
The Jays will give Jimenez a breather after he went 2-for-3 with an RBI during Friday's contest. His absence will open up second base for Davis Schneider to start while batting seventh.

Dylan Moore LF | PHI
Mariners' Dylan Moore: Lifts ninth homer Friday
Moore went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in a win over the White Sox on Friday.
Moore uncorked the second of three straight first-inning home runs for the Mariners, slugging a 392-foot shot to left center for his ninth long ball of the season. The big hit snapped a rare 22-game homerless drought for Moore, while also serving as a temporary reprieve from the 1-for-13 skid that had encompassed his previous five games.

Javier Baez SS | DET
Tigers' Javier Baez: Homers in consecutive games
Baez went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 9-3 loss to the Twins.
Baez took Pablo Lopez deep in the third inning after providing all the Tigers' offense in Thursday's win with a three-run blast. Baez has now homered in back-to-back games for the first time since 2023. Prior to these two homers, he had not gone deep since April 14 in what has been a rough year for him. The 31-year-old is hitting .179 with three homers and a .474 OPS through 65 games.

Zachary Neto SS | LAA
Angels' Zach Neto: Logs 18th steal
Neto went 1-for-3 with a run, an RBI and a stolen base in a loss to Oakland on Thursday.
All of Neto's production came in the second inning, when he singled home a run, stole a base and scored. The shortstop has recorded an RBI in four of his past seven contests and is slashing .348/.423/.522 with a homer, four RBI, six runs and four thefts during that span. Neto is slashing .257/.311/.439 with 13 home runs, 46 RBI, 43 runs and 18 thefts through 100 contests on the campaign.

Hamilton is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Yankees, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.
