Anderson went 3-for-5 with a solo home run and two runs scored Tuesday against the Twins.
Anderson took Tyler Clippard yard in the sixth inning to tally his eighth homer of the season. While that was his first long ball since Sept. 3, Anderson now has four consecutive multi-hit appearances, totaling four RBI and four runs scored in that span. Carlos Correa SS | HOU
Astros' Carlos Correa: Managing bone bruise
Correa had X-rays on his left ankle come back negative Tuesday and was diagnosed with a bone bruise, Julia Morales of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.
Correa sustained the injury during the sixth inning against the Rangers as he fouled a ball off his ankle, and he required assistance leaving the field. The 26-year-old appears to have avoided a serious injury and should be considered day-to-day as he continues to be evaluated.

Carlos Correa SS | HOU
Astros' Carlos Correa: Exits Tuesday's game
Correa was removed from Tuesday's game against the Rangers after fouling a ball off his lower left leg, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
The 26-year-old had a foul ball hit him directly around the left ankle during the sixth inning, and he appeared to be in significant pain as he was helped off the field by the athletic trainer and teammate Josh Reddick. The specifics of the injury remain unclear, but based on his initial reaction he could be available for at least a few days.

Yu Chang SS | TB
Indians' Yu Chang: Recalled by Cleveland
Chang was recalled by Cleveland on Tuesday.
Chang was sent down at the end of August, but he'll return to the major-league team to serve as infield depth in the coming games. Second baseman Cesar Hernandez was placed on the paternity list Tuesday, and Mike Freeman should be the favorite to receive playing time in Hernandez's absence.

Joey Wendle 2B | ATL
Rays' Joey Wendle: Day off Tuesday
Wendle will hit the bench Tuesday against the Nationals, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.
Wendle sits after starting 15 of the last 16 games. He hit just .220/.292/.339 over that stretch. Mike Brosseau will start at third base, Wendle's most common recent position.

Tim Anderson 2B | LAA
White Sox's Tim Anderson: Laces RBI double
Anderson went 3-for-5 with an RBI double in Monday's 3-1 win over the Twins.
Anderson's biggest hit of the game produced the third run for the White Sox as he plated Luis Robert in the eighth inning. Over his last 10 games, Anderson is 20-for-43 (.465) with a homer, two stolen bases, seven RBI and 11 runs scored. The shortstop is slashing an excellent .369/.408/.586 with seven homers, five steals, 39 runs scored and 18 RBI through 37 contests overall.

Dee Strange-Gordon SS | WAS
Mariners' Dee Strange-Gordon: Productive in recent opportunities
Strange-Gordon, who went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in a win over the Diamondbacks on Sunday, is hitting .357 (5-for-14) over his last seven games.
The playing time is pretty sporadic for the veteran these days, but Strange-Gordon has at least offered serviceable production when in the lineup during recent contests. Even with Shed Long's (lower leg) placement on the injured list, Strange-Gordon is still fighting a relatively uphill battle for opportunities at second base, considering the presence of trade acquisition Ty France and Dylan Moore. However, Sunday marked the 32-year-old's third start over the past week, with manager Scott Servais deploying France at designated hitter and shifting the highly versatile Moore to the outfield.

J.P. Crawford SS | SEA
Mariners' J.P. Crawford: May miss more games
The Mariners are expected to activate Crawford (personal) from the bereavement list within the next few days, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.
Crawford remains in California after leaving the team over the weekend following a death in his family, but he should arrive in Seattle before the end of the week. However, because he'll need to clear COVID-19 intake testing before being eligible to play, Crawford looks poised to miss at least a few more games. The Mariners will lean on combination of Dylan Moore, Donovan Walton and Dee Strange-Gordon to fill in at shortstop while Crawford is away.

Aledmys Diaz 1B | HOU
Astros' Aledmys Diaz: On bench with quad injury
Diaz isn't starting Sunday's game against the Dodgers after tweaking his quad Saturday, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Diaz had an effective performance Saturday as he went 2-for-4 with a double and a run, but he apparently didn't escape unscathed. Manager Dusty Baker said that he doesn't think the injury will require a stint on the injured list. The Astros have a day off Monday, so Diaz will get at least one additional day to recover.

Astros' Aledmys Diaz: Takes seat Sunday
Diaz is not in the lineup Sunday against the Dodgers, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Diaz went 2-for-4 with a double and a run Saturday but will head to the bench for the series finale. The 30-year-old is unlikely to see regular starts once Jose Altuve (knee) returns from the injured list in the near future. Jack Mayfield receives the start at the keystone for the Astros.
