Ezequiel Tovar SS | COL
Rockies' Ezequiel Tovar: Three-game hitting streak
Tovar went 1-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored Friday against the Nationals.
Tovar came to the plate with runners on first and second in the seventh inning and he delivered an RBI double before also coming around to score in the same frame. He's enjoyed the team's first homestand of the season and is now in the midst of a modest three-game hitting streak. Despite his performance picking up of late, Tovar still has only five hits across 25 at-bats to start the season, and he's also struck out nine times.

C.J. Abrams SS | WAS
Nationals' CJ Abrams: Triples twice in victory
Abrams went 3-for-5 with two triples, three RBI and a run scored in Friday's 10-5 victory over Colorado.
Abrams tripled in two runs in the third inning, and two innings later his second three-bagger scored Lane Thomas to make it a 7-2 game. Over seven games and 25 at-bats, the 22-year-old is slashing .280/.333/.480 with three extra-base hits. The only disappointment so far with Abrams is that he hasn't used his impressive speed to steal a base yet.

Willy Adames SS | SF
Brewers' Willy Adames: Clubs first homer
Adames went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored during Friday's 4-0 win against the Cardinals.
The 27-year-old closed out the scoring with his first long ball of the season during the seventh inning. It was also Adames' first extra-base hit of the campaign, but he still has a solid .280/.367/.400 slash line with four RBI and six runs through 30 plate appearances.

Dansby Swanson SS | CHC
Cubs' Dansby Swanson: Swipes first bag
Swanson went 0-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base in Friday's 2-0 win over the Rangers.
With offense tough to come by on the afternoon, Swanson manufactured the game's first run by beating out a potential double-play grounder in the fourth inning, stealing second, then coming home on a Cody Bellinger single. The theft was the first of the season for Swanson, and through his first six games as a Cub, the shortstop is batting .417 (10-for-24) with two doubles, two RBI and seven runs.

Francisco Lindor SS | NYM
Mets' Francisco Lindor: Big afternoon against Miami
Lindor went 1-for-3 with two walks, a two-run home run and a stolen base in Friday's 9-3 win over the Marlins.
The homer and steal were each the first of the season for Lindor. The shortstop came out of the gates slowly, but he's reached base six times in the last two games with two doubles, three runs and four RBI in addition to Friday's long ball and stolen base.

Geraldo Perdomo SS | ARI
Diamondbacks' Geraldo Perdomo: Not starting Friday
Perdomo isn't in the Diamondbacks' lineup Friday against the Dodgers, Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic reports.
Perdomo has reached base safely eight times over 13 plate appearances this season, but will get a day off Friday against Clayton Kershaw. Nick Ahmed will take over for him at shortstop, batting seventh.

Miguel Rojas SS | LAD
Dodgers' Miguel Rojas: Remains out of lineup
Rojas (groin) remains absent from the lineup Friday against the Diamondbacks.
Rojas has been sidelined all week after tweaking his left groin on a play in the field Sunday, though he did participate in a pregame workout Thursday and figures to do the same Friday. Chris Taylor will draw another start at shortstop and hit eighth versus Arizona.

Oneil Cruz SS | PIT
Pirates' Oneil Cruz: Back in lineup Friday
Cruz (face) is in the Pirates' lineup for Friday's home opener against the White Sox.
Cruz had to leave Wednesday's game with a facial injury following a collision with Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers. However, it looks like he's ready to go following Thursday's off day. Cruz is 6-for-23 with one home run and one stolen base in the early going.

Geraldo Perdomo SS | ARI
Diamondbacks' Geraldo Perdomo: Walks twice, scores in loss
Perdomo went 0-for-1 with two walks and a run scored in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Dodgers.
After leading off the sixth inning with a walk, Perdomo scooted home on Josh Rojas' double, giving him four runs scored over the last two games. He's also taken a team-high four walks through five games. The switch-hitting shortstop has been in the lineup against righties, while Nick Ahmed starts against southpaws. Arizona manager Torey Lovullo hasn't indicated shortstop will be a strict platoon, and the distribution of playing time could be chalked up to bringing Ahmed along slowly after last year's shoulder surgery.
