Crawford is not in the starting lineup Tuesday versus the Phillies.

Crawford returned from his left calf strain over the weekend, but the Giants will ride with hot-hitting youngster Casey Schmitt at shortstop Tuesday. J.D. Davis is at third base and Thairo Estrada is playing second.

Cheng has a .262/.382/.524 slash line with four home runs, nine steals and an 18.5 percent strikeout rate in 29 games for High-A Greensboro.

The 5-foot-7 infielder has split time evenly at shortstop and second base for the Grasshoppers, and his likely long-term home is the keystone. Cheng's command of the strike zone has been impeccable dating back to 2021 when he was in complex ball, but this power output is unexpected for the 21-year-old. He has the highest pull (46.9 percent) and flyball (37.2 percent) rates of his career.

Berti is not in the starting lineup Tuesday against the Nationals.

Berti has fallen back into more of a utility role with the Marlins and will need a fresh uptick in starts to make his speed count for fantasy purposes. He is also just 6-for-9 on stolen-base attempts this season.

Amaya is slashing .362/.423/.553 through 52 plate appearances in May for Triple-A Jacksonville with four doubles, a triple, a homer and a 5:6 BB:K.

The 24-year-old may not ever be a true asset as a hitter in the majors, but Amaya's glove is big-league ready and all he really needs to do is demonstrate he won't be a liability at the plate before he'll get a chance to take over as the Marlins' starting shortstop. That could happen before the All-Star break, considering that Joey Wendle has had trouble staying healthy and has gone 3-for-28 (.107) to begin the season when he has been in the lineup.

Abrams went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional run scored and one steal in Monday's 10-3 win over the Mets.

Abrams recorded his third straight multi-hit game Monday, and during that stretch, he's hit two home runs and collected five RBI. Across 39 games (142 plate appearances), the shortstop is slashing .258/.305/.417 with four home runs, 22 RBI and 16 runs scored. He's also 5-for-7 in stolen-base attempts. Despite some occasional struggles, Abrams figures to be an everyday player for the Nationals, who are currently in last place in the NL East.

Arcia went 2-for-2 with a home run, a double, two walks, three total runs and two total RBI in Monday's 12-0 win over the Rangers.

Arcia's perfect game at the plate included a two-run homer and a double that came before Ronald Acuna's two-run shot. Before Monday, Arcia hadn't gone deep since April 6 against San Diego, though he missed nearly a month soon thereafter with a wrist injury. The shortstop is slashing a robust .333/.395/.551 with three homers, 10 RBI and 14 runs through 20 games on the season.

Edman went 4-for-5 with a home run, four total runs and two total RBI against the Brewers in an 18-1 win Monday.

The Cardinals racked up 16 hits in the rout, and Edman was responsible for a quarter of those with his first four-hit performance of the campaign. Two of his hits came in the eighth inning, as he led off the 10-run frame with a solo homer and later notched a two-run single. This was a much-needed big game for the second baseman, as he had gone just 3-for-24 over his previous eight contests.

Schmitt went 2-for-4 with a double in Monday's 6-3 victory over the Phillies.

For the first time in his brief career, Schmitt didn't have a hit Sunday. He responded with his fifth multi-hit game of the season Monday. He's only played in seven games. He's slashing a hilarious .464/.464/.821 to start his career. Even with Brandon Crawford back in the lineup, Schmitt is likely to stick around with this incredible production.

Perdomo went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer, two runs scored and a walk in Monday's win over the Athletics.

Perdomo got the scoring started with a two-run blast in the second inning. He later added an insurance run in the fourth inning. The 23-year-old was stuck in a 1-for-19 slump since his last multi-hit game May 3. Perdomo improved his slash line to an impressive .341/.426/.545 with 11 extra-base hits and 20 RBI through 32 games.

McLain will start at shortstop and bat second in his big-league deubt Monday in Colorado.

The lineup placement is a favorable one for McLain, who should be a popular DFS option Monday while the Reds face a right-hander (Connor Seabold) at a hitter-friendly park. The rookie infielder earned a promotion to the majors after contributing a .346/.464/.713 slash line with 12 home runs and 10 stolen bases across 168 plate appearances with Triple-A Louisville this season.
