  • Joey Wendle 2B | ATL

Marlins' Joey Wendle: Not in Saturday's lineup

Wendle isn't starting Saturday against the Phillies, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Wendle is getting a breather after he went 4-for-10 with two doubles, an RBI, a walk and two strikeouts over the last three games. Luke Williams will start at the keystone and bat eighth.

  • Phillies' Johan Camargo: Reinstated from injured list

Camargo (knee) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Saturday.

Camargo was on the injured list since late June but began a rehab assignment July 8. He hit .360 with two doubles, six runs and three RBI over seven games between Triple-A Lehigh Valley and Double-A Reading and will be available for the Phillies' final two games ahead of the All-Star break.

  • Orlando Arcia SS | MIN

Braves' Orlando Arcia: Pops fourth homer

Arcia went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Friday's 8-4 win over the Nationals.

With southpaw Patrick Corbin on the mound for the Nats, Arcia got the start at second base while hitting eighth and took advantage of the matchup. The 27-year-old infielder is slashing .256/.329/.388 with four homers, 13 runs and 18 RBI in 146 plate appearances, and for now he'll handle the short side of a platoon alongside Robinson Cano until Ozzie Albies (foot) is ready to return.

  • Jon Berti 3B | CHC

Marlins' Jon Berti: Placed on 10-day IL

Berti was placed on the 10-day injured list with a left groin strain Friday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Berti was removed from Thursday's game against the Pirates with what was described as a mild groin strain, but the issue will still force him to spend time on the injured list. The 32-year-old won't be eligible to return until at least July 25, and it's possible that he'll see a slight decrease in playing time upon his return since Jorge Soler (pelvis) was reinstated from the IL on Friday.

  • Miguel Rojas SS | LAD

Marlins' Miguel Rojas: Ready to go Friday

Rojas (mouth) is starting at shortstop and batting eighth Friday against the Phillies, Joe Frisaro of ManOnSecondBaseball.com reports.

Rojas was removed from Thursday's contest versus the Pirates after he lost a tooth on a collision with Oneil Cruz in the ninth inning, but he'll be ready to go Friday after undergoing a dental procedure. The shortstop has produced a .262 average with four runs, an RBI and two stolen bases over 42 at-bats in July.

  • Ezequiel Tovar SS | COL

Rockies' Ezequiel Tovar: Not available for Futures Game

Tovar (groin) won't be available for Saturday's All-Star Futures Game, Nick Groke of The Athletic reports.

The Rockies' top prospect remains on Double-A Hartford's 7-day injured list while he continues to recover from a groin injury that has kept him out of action since June 29. The organization is hoping the 20-year-old infielder will be ready to play again shortly after the All-Star break.

  • Dansby Swanson SS | CHC

Braves' Dansby Swanson: Mashes 15th homer

Swanson went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Thursday's win over the Nationals.

The shortstop took Anibal Sanchez deep in the first inning during a game in which Atlanta never trailed. Swanson is slashing .300/.333/.483 through 14 games in July, and with 15 homers and 14 steals through 91 contests on the season, he's on track for his first career 25/25 campaign.

  • Willy Adames SS | SF

Brewers' Willy Adames: Swipes bag in win

Adames went 1-for-5 with an RBI and a stolen base in Thursday's 3-2 extra-inning win over the Giants.

Adames got aboard on a fielder's choice, advanced to second on a wild pitch and stole third in the first inning. The shortstop has hit safely in eight of 12 games in July, going 11-for-49 (.224) with three home runs and two steals in that span. For the season, he's slashing .214/.287/.470 with 18 homers, 50 RBI, 46 runs scored, three steals and 14 doubles. While his average is nothing special, he's on pace for a career year in the counting stats.

  • Miguel Rojas SS | LAD

Marlins' Miguel Rojas: Departs in ninth inning

Rojas was removed midway through the top of the ninth inning of Thursday's game against the Pirates after suffering an apparent mouth injury in a collision at second base with Oneil Cruz, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports. He went 1-for-4 with a base hit prior to departing.

While he was sliding into second base on a stolen-base attempt, Cruz's helmet struck Rojas in the face. Though Rojas applied the tag for the out, he exited the contest immediately, forcing the Marlins to reshuffle their infield after second baseman Jon Berti (groin) had already exited earlier in the contest. Rojas could be sent in for concussion testing before the Marlins determine his status for their three-game series with the Phillies this weekend.

  • Jon Berti 3B | CHC

Marlins' Jon Berti: Dealing with mild groin strain

Berti exited Thursday's game against the Pirates due to a mild left groin strain, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Berti was removed from Thursday's matchup prior to the second inning after he sustained the groin injury while sliding into second base on a successful steal. It's encouraging the 32-year-old's injury is being classified as mild, and he should be considered day-to-day ahead of Friday's series opener against the Phillies.
