Lindor went 3-for-5 with two RBI and a stolen base in Monday's 13-5 win over the Nationals.

The shortstop is on fire right now, racking up six multi-hit performances in the last 11 games and batting .364 (16-for-44) over that stretch. The hot streak has boosted Lindor's slash line on the season to .262/.350/.450 with eight homers, seven steals, 37 runs and 40 RBI through 50 contests.

Ahmed (undisclosed) resumed light baseball activity May 27, Jack Sommers of MLB.com reports.

Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said Ahmed is still dealing with fatigue, while the shortstop said he's "responded OK from" taking batting practice, fielding light groundballs and playing catch. "It hit me quick and hard," Ahmed said of the virus. "I've been trying to recover since. I'm still not back to normal yet, unfortunately." Geraldo Perdomo is the primary starter at shortstop while Ahmed works his way back.

Marcano went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in a 6-5 win against the Dodgers on Monday.

In just his fifth game of the year, Marcano delivered a big shot against one of the NL's top pitchers, taking Walker Buehler deep for a three-run blast in the second inning. The long ball was Marcano's first as a major leaguer in his 55th career at-bat. He has never been much of a power hitter, topping out at seven homers in the minors during the 2021 campaign.

Edman went 2-for-5 with an RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in Monday's 6-3 win over the Padres.

Edman was on base for Nolan Gorman's two-run home run in the third inning. In the fifth, Edman added an RBI single and a steal, his 11th theft in 12 attempts this season. This was his first steal since May 22. The versatile infielder has gone 16-for-51 (.314) in his last 11 contests. For the season, he's at 22 RBI, 37 runs scored, four home runs, eight doubles, three triples and a .282/.360/.425 slash line through 204 plate appearances.

Adrianza (quadriceps) had his rehab assignment transferred to Triple-A Rochester on Monday, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.

Adrianza has been out all season after straining his left quadriceps in late March. He owns a 1.238 OPS through six rehab games, so he may not need many more to demonstrate that he's ready to return to the active roster.

Wendle was removed from Monday's game against the Rockies due to right hamstring discomfort, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Wendle went 1-for-2 to begin Monday's matchup before he was replaced by a pinch runner in the top of the fourth inning. The 32-year-old has had two IL stints due to right hamstring issues this season, but it's not yet clear whether his current injury will force him to return to the injured list. If Wendle misses additional time, Brian Anderson (back), Jon Berti and Willians Astudillo will likely fill in at the hot corner.

Marcano went 2-for-3 with a run scored Sunday against the Padres.

Marcano has gone 2-for-6 with two runs scored since being recalled by the Pirates on Friday. He's likely to serve a utility role with the team and has picked up starts in left field and second base since being promoted. With several lineup regulars currently sidelined in Pittsburgh, Marcano may have the chance to pick up consistent at-bats in the short term.

Cruz sustained a minor ankle injury at Triple-A Indianapolis on Sunday, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Cruz tweaked his ankle while sliding into second base during Sunday's minor-league matchup, and he left the game early. Although the 23-year-old's injury is classified as minor, it's not clear whether he'll be forced to miss additional time. Cruz is slashing .220/.330/.402 with seven homers, 30 runs, 27 RBI and 10 stolen bases over 41 games with Indianapolis in 2022.

Swanson went 1-for-4 with two steals and a run scored in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Marlins.

Swanson scored a run in the fifth inning after singling and stealing a pair of bases. He entered May with an unsightly .216 average but he's hitting 312 with nine extra-base hits and six steals this month. The 28-year-old shortstop has swiped eight bags this year and he's now sporting a .778 OPS through 185 plate appearances.

Adames (ankle) is scheduled to make his second rehab appearance Monday at Triple-A Nashville, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

As a test of the health of Adames' sprained left ankle, the Brewers plan to have him play consecutive days in the minors before bringing him back from the 10-day injured list. He made a successful return to action at Single-A Carolina on Sunday, when he served as a designated hitter and went 1-for-2 with a home run and a walk. If Adames starts at shortstop Monday and comes out of the rehab game no worse for the wear, he could rejoin the Brewers for Tuesday's game in Chicago against the Cubs.
