  • Miguel Rojas SS | LAD

Marlins' Miguel Rojas: On bench with calf issue

Rojas (calf) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Atlanta, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

He'll take a seat for the series finale after exiting Saturday's 4-3 loss with left calf tightness. Erik Gonzalez will fill in at shortstop in place of Rojas, who could be ready to go for Tuesday's game at Tampa Bay following Monday's off day.

  • Phillies' Johan Camargo: Sits Sunday

Camargo is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

He'll sit for the second day in a row while Bryson Stott gets another look at shortstop. Stott is hitting .138 and getting on base at a .219 clip since his May 7 call-up from Triple-A Lehigh Valley, so Camargo may still hold the edge on the top job at shortstop until Didi Gregorius (knee) returns from the injured list.

  • Miguel Rojas SS | LAD

Marlins' Miguel Rojas: Exits with calf issue

Rojas left Saturday's game against Atlanta with left calf tightness, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Rojas was forced to exit Saturday's contest in the top of the seventh inning and was replaced by Erik Gonzalez. He was 0-for-2 at the plate prior to leaving the game.

  • Nationals' Dee Strange-Gordon: Added to Saturday's lineup

Strange-Gordon is starting Saturday against the Brewers.

The 34-year-old wasn't initially listed among Saturday's starters, but he'll start at shortstop and bat ninth after Alcides Escobar (undisclosed) was removed from the lineup. Over nine games since the start of May, Strange-Gordon has hit .185 with two runs, an RBI and three strikeouts.

  • Ehire Adrianza 3B | LAA

Nationals' Ehire Adrianza: Plays in simulated game

Adrianza (quadriceps) played seven innings in a simulated game this week, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.

Adrianza has been out all season while recovering from a strained left quadriceps. While he's yet to play in an official game, his work in the simulated game represents a significant step. He could be ready for a rehab assignment soon, though exactly when that will happen is not yet clear.

  • Luke Williams SS | ATL

Giants' Luke Williams: DFA'd by Giants

Williams was designated for assignment by the Giants on Saturday.

The 25-year-old was sent down by the Giants in early May, and he'll lose his spot on the 40-man roster with the team choosing to select Michael Papierski's contract Saturday. Over 10 games at Triple-A Sacramento, Williams hit .378 with four doubles, eight runs, seven RBI and four stolen bases.

  • Phillies' Johan Camargo: Not starting Saturday

Camargo isn't starting Saturday against the Dodgers, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Camargo started in the last three games and went 4-for-10 with a walk and four strikeouts. Bryson Stott will start at shortstop and bat ninth.

  • Trea Turner SS | PHI

Dodgers' Trea Turner: Collects eighth steal

Turner went 1-for-2 with two walks, a double, an RBI and a stolen base in Friday's 4-1 win over the Phillies.

The shortstop had a bit of a sluggish start to the season, but Turner is catching fire now. He extended his hitting streak to 12 games, a stretch during which he's slashing .356/.444/.533 with five doubles, a homer, seven runs, eight RBI and four of his eight steals on the year.

  • Dansby Swanson SS | CHC

Braves' Dansby Swanson: Swats fifth homer

Swanson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 5-3 win over the Marlins.

The shortstop drove a Trevor Rogers fastball deep to left field in the second inning, giving Atlanta a 4-0 lead. Swanson has five homers on the year, but four of them have come in the last 12 games, a stretch during which he's slashed .214/.298/.500 with two steals, eight RBI and nine runs.

  • Joey Wendle 2B | ATL

Marlins' Joey Wendle: Taking part in full baseball work

Wendle (hamstring) is participating in full baseball activities Friday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Wendle landed on the injured list with a strained right hamstring last week, but the fact he's already back fully participating in baseball activities indicates it isn't a serious injury. The 32-year-old will be eligible to be activated Sunday, though it's unclear if he's expected to be ready to go by that point.
