Rojas was scratched from Saturday's lineup against Atlanta, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Nick Ahmed SS | TEX
Diamondbacks' Nick Ahmed: Retreats to bench
Ahmed will sit Saturday against the Mets.
Ahmed returned from the injured list Friday and went hitless in his season debut. He won't be asked to start on back-to-back days right away, with Geraldo Perdomo starting at shortstop Saturday.

Geraldo Perdomo SS | ARI
Diamondbacks' Geraldo Perdomo: Will practice at 3B
Perdomo will receive practice reps at third base, Theo Mackie of the Arizona Republic reports.
Perdomo's playing time at shortstop took a hit when the Diamondbacks activated Nick Ahmed off the injured list Friday. Ahmed started Friday's game, but the plan is to ease him back to an everyday role. That means Perdomo will share shortstop for now while getting comfortable at third base, a position he's never played professionally and one of weakness early on for Arizona.

Nick Ahmed SS | TEX
Diamondbacks' Nick Ahmed: Hitless in season debut
Ahmed went 0-for-4 in Friday's 6-5 extra-inning loss to the Mets.
Ahmed's shoulder injury improved to the point where he was activated from the injured list Friday. He'll resume his role as the primary shortstop, although the plan is for him to be eased back into the lineup, Theo Mackie of the Arizona Republic reports. That means Ahmed won't be starting every day immediately. In corresponding decisions, the Diamondbacks sent Yonny Hernandez back to Triple-A Reno and kept prospect Geraldo Perdomo, who will share shortstop with Ahmed while also getting practice time at third base.

Ezequiel Tovar SS | COL
Rockies' Ezequiel Tovar: Hot start at Double-A
Tovar is hitting .304/.396/.609 with three home runs and three stolen bases across 52 plate appearances at Double-A Hartford.
Tovar spent the early part of spring training with the big-league club, and he has begun the 2022 regular season with Double-A Hartford. He delivered a multi-homer performance April 22, which inflated his overall numbers given the small sample. However, Tovar hasn't looked out of place at his current assignment, as he also has five doubles while striking out at a 25 percent clip.

Brandon Crawford SS | STL
Giants' Brandon Crawford: Doubles twice, drives in three
Crawford went 3-for-5 with two doubles, three RBI and a run scored in Friday's 7-1 win over the Nationals.
Crawford led off the second inning with a double and scored on a Mike Yastrzemski single. In the same frame, he drilled a three-run double and knocked Patrick Corbin out of the contest. It was his third multi-hit game in his last six appearances and his first three-hit performance of the season. Crawford is now slashing .245/.302/.367 with four extra-base hits and seven RBI.

Geraldo Perdomo SS | ARI
Diamondbacks' Geraldo Perdomo: Set for reduced role
Perdomo is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Mets.
The 22-year-old has been operating as Arizona's primary shortstop to begin the season, but Nick Ahmed (shoulder) was activated from the injured list Friday and should reclaim the starting role. Perdomo started 11 of the first 13 games but failed to take advantage of the opportunity with a .120/.371/.160 slash line in 35 plate appearances.

Nick Ahmed SS | TEX
Diamondbacks' Nick Ahmed: Activated Friday
Ahmed (shoulder) was activated from the 10-day injured list Friday, and he's starting at shortstop and batting sixth versus the Mets.
Ahmed was sidelined for the first two weeks of the season by shoulder inflammation, but he'll make his debut Friday against the Mets. The 32-year-old hit .221/.280/.339 with five home runs, 38 RBI, 46 runs and seven stolen bases in 129 contests during the 2021 campaign.

C.J. Abrams SS | WAS
Padres' CJ Abrams: On bench against lefty
Abrams isn't starting Friday's game against the Dodgers.
Left-hander Julio Urias is starting for the Dodgers on Friday, so Abrams will retreat to the bench. Ha-Seong Kim will take over at shortstop and bat eighth.

Joey Wendle 2B | ATL
Marlins' Joey Wendle: Day off Friday
Wendle isn't starting Friday against Atlanta, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Even though right-hander Kyle Wright is starting for Atlanta on Friday, Wendle will get a breather after going 4-for-14 with a double, two RBI and a run in his last four appearances. Brian Anderson will start at third base and bat seventh.
