Crawford is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

After a string of five consecutive starts, the lefty-hitting Crawford will head to the bench for the series finale while southpaw Andrew Heaney toes the rubber for the Dodgers. Thairo Estrada will move over from his usual spot at the keystone to replace Crawford at shortstop.

Edman is not in the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Reds, Daniel Guerrero of MLB.com reports.

Edman started the past seven contests and will step out of the lineup Sunday after he posted a .345/.367/.379 slash line with two RBI and four stolen bases during that span. Paul DeJong will take over at shortstop in the series finale against Cincinnati.

Grissom figures to see everyday work at second base down the stretch after Ozzie Albies suffered a broken right pinky finger Saturday against the Phillies.

Albies had just returned from a foot injury, but this latest injury likely ends his season. Grissom has excelled in all five roto categories, hitting .301 with five home runs, five steals, 22 runs and 16 RBI in 32 games.

Edman went 3-for-5 with one RBI and one steal in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Reds.

Edman nabbed second base against righty reliever Hunter Strickland and catcher Chuckie Robinson in the first game of Saturday's twin bill. After a 15-game stretch when he recorded a .426 average over 54 at-bats, the shortstop suffered an 0-for-11 slump in his last three games before breaking out of it in this contest. In addition, the 27-year-old has recorded four steals in his last eight games.

Adames went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and an RBI double in a 7-6 victory over the Yankees on Friday.

Adames helped power the Brewers to victory with his 29th home run of the season and a ground-rule double that netted him his 89th RBI. Adames' average has been down considerably from his .262 mark last season, but he has more than made up for it by hitting for power. The 27-year-old shortstop is on the precipice of achieving his first 30-homer season.

Berti isn't starting Saturday against Washington.

Berti started the last three games and went 0-for-12 with a walk and three strikeouts. Jerar Encarnacion will take over in left field and bat eighth.

Rojas isn't in the lineup Wednesday against the Nationals.

Rojas reached base in each of the last four games and went 5-for-15 with an RBI, a walk and two strikeouts across that span. Joey Wendle will take over at shortstop and bat second.

Wendle went 3-for-5 with a stolen base in Friday's 5-4 loss to the Nationals.

After missing a few starts with what the Marlins termed a "minor right core issue", Wendle returned to the lineup and looked to be 100 percent healthy as he stole his 12th base of the season. The veteran infielder has multi-hit efforts in four straight starts, and he's slashing .323/.344/.500 over his last 64 plate appearances with eight doubles, a home run, two steals, seven RBI and nine runs.

Barrero isn't starting the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Cardinals, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Barrero's playing time has declined recently, and he'll head to the bench for the fourth time in the last five games. Kyle Farmer is starting at shortstop and batting third during Saturday's matinee.

Cruz went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's loss to the Mets.

Cruz hit an eighth-inning home run that sent Tyler Heineman home. It was Cruz's sixteenth homer of the year, his second in three days, and his fifth this month. Cruz is having his best stretch since he was called up to the big league club June 20. The rookie shortstop is slashing .288/.311/.644 this month after going 17-for-59. Cruz has also struck out 23 times in that span, but has raised his batting average from .202 to .221.
