Lindor went 1-for-4 with a single and two stolen bases in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Nationals.

While Lindor's bat hasn't come around yet since his return from an oblique injury, the shortstop's legs appear to be just fine. The 27-year-old swiped bags No. 9 and 10 Saturday night, while also smacking a base hit. If nothing else, the steals are a sign that the four-time All-Star is feeling OK after an extended stay on the injured list.

Story didn't appear in Friday's series opener after he aggravated a leg injury Wednesday, but he'll start at shortstop and bat third Saturday. The 28-year-old was in a slump at the plate prior to his one-game absence, as he went 0-for-17 with a walk and six strikeouts across his last five appearances.

Seager will sit Saturday against Colorado, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Trea Turner will slide to shortstop with Mookie Betts moving in to start at second base. While that will be Saturday's arrangement, the arrival of Turner hasn't meaningfully cut into Seager's playing time, as his off day Saturday is just his second since Turner was acquired at the trade deadline.

Adames (quadriceps) is batting second as the designated hitter Saturday against the Twins.

Adames hasn't played since exiting Tuesday's game with a quadriceps injury. It's unclear how soon the shortstop will be able to play his position again, but the Brewers might DH him again Sunday to take advantage of the last game in Minnesota and protect Adames' health.

The Reds optioned Barrero to Triple-A Louisville on Saturday and assigned him to the taxi squad, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.

The infield prospect has appeared in six games and gone 2-for-12 with a double since being called up Aug. 16. Barrero's roster spot was needed for the versatile Asdrubal Cabrera, who joined the Reds on Saturday after being claimed off waivers.

Baez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 2-1 loss to the Nationals.

He took Paolo Espino deep in the fourth inning, but it was all the offense the Mets could muster. Baez has gone 6-for-19 over five games since returning from the IL, and Friday's long ball has given the 28-year-old his third career season with at least 25 homers.

Turner went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Friday in a loss to the Rockies.

Turner's third-inning homer pushed the Dodgers into a 2-2 tie, but it proved to be the last run the team would tally in the game. The long ball was his 20th of the campaign, helping him join Cedric Mullins and Fernando Tatis as the only big-leaguers with at least 20 homers and 20 steals so far this season. This marks the first time in Turner's career that he has hit the 20-20 mark -- his previous season high for homers was 19 in both the 2018 and 2019 campaigns.

Edman went 1-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in a 4-3 win over the Pirates on Friday.

Edman continued his red-hot run at the plate Friday collecting three RBI which included a fifth inning two-run home run. Batting in the leadoff spot, Edman has now collected a hit in 13 of his last 14 games with one home run and nine RBI.

Adames (quadriceps) hit and ran on the field ahead of Friday's game against the Twins, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.

Adames will participate in baseball activities again Saturday, and manager Craig Counsell said that the 25-year-old will return to the lineup as the designated hitter Saturday if all goes well. The shortstop has missed the last three games due to left quadriceps discomfort.

Story (leg) isn't in Friday's lineup against the Dodgers.

Story aggravated a leg injury in Wednesday's contest against the Cubs, and he'll be held out of Friday's lineup. It's not yet clear whether he'll be available off the bench, but Brendan Rodgers will shift to shortstop while Garrett Hampson starts at second base.
