The 32-year-old shortstop has turned in another serviceable season, hitting .272 with 34 RBI and 11 stolen bases (13 attempts) in 426 plate appearances.

DeJong is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Pirates, Zachary Silver of MLB.com reports.

Edman has stolen a base in consecutive games after going 16 contests without doing so. He's hit .349 in his last 10 games, albeit with only three extra-base hits and four RBI. Edman has become a steady presence atop St. Louis' lineup, hitting well enough that Dylan Carlson, back from a wrist injury, appears to be the No. 3 hitter going forward despite having hit leadoff in 15 of his last 20 games before going on the injured list.

Crawford (back) is starting Wednesday's game against the Mets.

Crawford exited Tuesday's win due to lower-back tightness, but he'll remain in the lineup Wednesday. Across his last four appearances, the 34-year-old has gone 4-for-13 with a double, an RBI, a stolen base and two walks.

Rojas isn't in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Nationals, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Lindor isn't starting Wednesday's game against the Giants.

Lindor returned from the injured list Tuesday and went 0-for-4 in the series opener against San Francisco, but he'll head back to the bench as he's eased back into action. Javier Baez will shift to shortstop while Jonathan Villar enters the lineup at third base.
