This was Bogaerts' first multi-hit effort since May 17 versus the Mariners. The shortstop has started to get in a groove, going 5-for-12 over his last three contests. He's back up to a .243/.332/.343 slash line with three home runs, 10 stolen bases, 21 RBI, 22 runs scored and nine doubles through 53 contests. Giants' Willy Adames: Multi-hit effort in defeat
Adames went 2-for-4 in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Tigers.
Adames singled twice in the loss, delivering his first multi-hit performance since May 16. Adames is now slashing .210/.288/.336 with 30 runs scored, 25 RBI, 16 extra-base hits -- including five homers -- two stolen bases and a 26.3 percent strikeout rate across 240 plate appearances this season.

Padres' Xander Bogaerts: Logs steal Monday
Bogaerts went 1-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Monday's 4-3 extra-innings win over the Marlins.
Bogaerts continues to be a factor on the basepaths with four steals over his last nine games. His hitting has cooled off in that stretch -- he's gone a modest 6-for-30 (.200) with three walks and six strikeouts, and he hasn't logged an RBI or an extra-base hit since he homered May 14 versus the Angels. The slump has the shortstop down to a .232/.320/.333 slash line with three home runs, 10 steals, 20 RBI and 21 runs scored over 52 contests this season.

Orlando Arcia 3B | COL
Rockies' Orlando Arcia: Headed to Colorado
Arcia agreed to a one-year, major-league contract with the Rockies on Monday, Daniel Alvarez-Montes of ElExtraBase.com reports.
Arcia didn't have to wait long to find work after being released by Atlanta on Sunday. Once his deal with Colorado is finalized, he'll look to join his new club on the current road trip in Chicago, per Alvarez-Montes. Though Arcia has played primarily at shortstop during his career, the Rockies have Ezequiel Tovar locked in at that position on a long-term contract, so Arcia will likely end up seeing most of his opportunities at second base. Rookie Adael Amador has been serving as the Rockies' primary option at the keystone, but he's produced a lowly .473 OPS over 98 plate appearances and could end up being supplanted by Arcia.
