Leonardo Jimenez SS | MIA
Marlins' Leo Jimenez: Joins lineup Saturday
Jimenez (hand) started at designated hitter and went 0-for-2 with a walk in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Giants.
Jimenez was lifted from Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Cardinals shortly after being hit on the left hand by a pitch in the second inning, but X-rays came back negative. The 25-year-old felt well enough to enter the lineup Saturday against southpaw Robbie Ray. Jimenez is likely to see limited action while the Marlins' infield is mostly healthy.

Diamondbacks' Geraldo Perdomo: Diagnosed with ankle sprain
Perdomo was removed from Saturday's game against the Padres due to a left ankle sprain.
Perdomo tweaked his left ankle while fielding a groundball in the seventh inning, and the injury was severe enough for him to leave the contest. He finished 0-for-3 with a strikeout. The shortstop should be considered day-to-day due to the ankle sprain, with Jose Fernandez and Ildemaro Vargas in line to see more starts at shortstop if Perdomo is to miss time.

Diamondbacks' Geraldo Perdomo: Exits Saturday's game
Perdomo left during the seventh inning of Saturday's game against the Padres due to a left leg injury, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

He went 0-for-3 with a strikeout prior to his exit, with Tim Tawa entering the game at first base while Ildemaro Vargas shifted over to shortstop. The Diamondbacks should have an update on Perdomo's injury once he's further evaluated.

Nationals' CJ Abrams: Getting breather Saturday
Abrams isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the White Sox.
Abrams isn't typically someone who sits down against left-handed starters, but the Nats will give the lefty-hitting infielder a break Saturday with lefty-throwing Noah Schultz on the bump for Chicago. Nasim Nunez will slide over to short as a result, opening up second base for Curtis Mead.
