  • Braves' Johan Camargo: Keeps swinging hot bat

Camargo went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run Sunday against the Diamondbacks.

Camargo took Yoan Lopez deep in the ninth inning to record his 18th home run of the season. He's swung a hot bat of late, clubbing four home runs in his past 10 games to go along with seven RBI and eight runs scored. He's been moved back into the second spot in the order as a result -- he's hit there the last three games -- a promising development for him to continue his counting stat production to close the season.

  • Corey Seager SS | TEX

Dodgers' Corey Seager: No longer using crutches

Seager (elbow/hip) resumed walking without the assistance of crutches earlier this month, Ken Gurnick of ESPN.com reports.

While on the mend from the Tommy John surgery he required in early May, Seager elected to undergo another procedure in August to repair a torn left hip labrum and shave a misshaped bone. The elbow operation carries the longer recovery timetable of the two, but the shortstop is optimistic that he'll be fully recovered from both surgeries before spring training commences. He's on track to begin a throwing program at some point in early October, which will provide the first real test for the health of his right elbow.

  • Giants' Brandon Crawford: Returns to lineup Sunday

Crawford (knee) will start at shortstop and bat cleanup Sunday against the Brewers, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Crawford was out of the lineup with a sore knee the past three games but appeared as a pinch hitter Saturday. The 31-year-old has struggled offensively since the start of July with a .175/.252/.243 slash line as he continues to battle the lingering knee issue.

  • Trea Turner SS | PHI

Nationals' Trea Turner: Rare day off Sunday

Turner is out of the lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Cubs.

Turner had started the last 32 games at shortstop and slashed .277/.340/.394 with seven stolen bases in that stretch. Wilmer Difo will slide over to shortstop for the Nationals while Adrian Sanchez starts at second base.

  • Orlando Arcia SS | MIN

Brewers' Orlando Arcia: Not in Sunday's lineup

Arcia is out of the lineup for Sunday's series finale against San Francisco.

Arcia will head to the bench after going 0-for-1 with a walk and a sacrifice fly Saturday. Hernan Perez makes another start at shortstop and will bat seventh for the Brewers.

  • Giants' Brandon Crawford: Comes off bench

Crawford (knee) drew a walk off the bench in Saturday's loss to the Brewers.

Crawford was out of the lineup for the third consecutive day due to a sore knee. The shortstop was completely unavailable over the past two games, but his usage as a pinch hitter opens up the possibility of a return in Sunday's series finale against the Brewers.

  • Trea Turner SS | PHI

Nationals' Trea Turner: Steals two bases

Turner went 0-for-3 with two RBI, two walks and two stolen bases in Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Cubs.

Turner's eight-game hitting streak was snapped, but he still managed to have an impactful afternoon. The 25-year-old has a .269/.340/.409 slash line with 17 home runs and is 37-for-45 in stolen-base attempts this season.

  • Giants' Brandon Crawford: Out again Saturday

Crawford is out of the lineup for the third straight game Saturday against the Brewers.

Crawford's absence could be tied to the sore knee which caused him to miss the previous weekend's series against the Mets. Abiatal Avelino will make his major-league debut at shortstop in his absence.

  • Nick Ahmed SS | TEX

Diamondbacks' Nick Ahmed: Not starting Saturday

Ahmed is not in the lineup Saturday against Atlanta.

Ahmed sits after starting 10 of the last 11 games. Ketel Marte will slide over to shortstop in his absence, with Daniel Descalso starting at second base.

  • Javier Baez SS | DET

Cubs' Javier Baez: Not in Game 1 lineup

Baez is out of the lineup for Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader versus the Nationals.

Baez will receive a breather following eight straight starts as Addison Russell gets the nod at shortstop for the matinee. Look for Baez to rejoin the starting lineup in Game 2.
