Aledmys Diaz 1B | HOU
Cardinals' Aledmys Diaz: Out again Monday
Diaz is not in the lineup Monday against the Reds.
Since returning from the disabled list earlier in the month, Diaz has been played a bit less than before the injury, which could be in part to ease his thumb back into action, but could also be impacted by his .172 batting average since coming back. Jedd Gyorko will take over at shortstop in his stead.

Corey Seager SS | TEX
Dodgers' Corey Seager: Blasts game-tying homer in three-hit effort
Seager went 3-for-5 with a triple, a home run and two RBI in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Rockies.
The Dodgers were down to their last out when Seager, who had tied the game with a run-scoring triple in his previous at-bat, smacked a game-tying homer off Adam Ottavino to send the game to extra innings. The long ball was his 26th of the year but first since Sept. 10. Seager finished the day a double short of the cycle, snapping an 0-for-13 skid at the plate and raising his slash line to .313/.371/.523.

Cardinals' Aledmys Diaz: Out of lineup Sunday
Diaz is out of the lineup Sunday against the Cubs.

Trea Turner SS | PHI
Nationals' Trea Turner: Not in lineup Sunday
Turner is out of Sunday's lineup against the Pirates, Dan Kolko of the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network reports.
After clinching the NL East on Saturday, Turner will have Sunday off. He has an impressive .336 batting average for the season but has gone just 7-for-31 (.226) over the last seven games. With Turner out, Ben Revere will start in center field and hit leadoff.

Brandon Crawford SS | STL
Giants' Brandon Crawford: Remains out Saturday
Crawford (finger) remains out of the lineup Saturday, CSN Bay Area's Alex Pavlovic reports.
He was doubtful to play Saturday, so this comes as no surprise. It sounds as though he has been progressing with his recovery, so he should be expected back in the coming days. Ehire Adrianza will start at shortstop again and bat eighth Saturday.

Brandon Crawford SS | STL
Giants' Brandon Crawford: Doubtful for Saturday
Crawford (finger) is considered doubtful for Saturday, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
It sounds like Sunday is the earliest we could see Crawford, who suffered a dislocated left pinkie during Tuesday's game. He did some throwing Thursday and took dry swings Friday, so he's moving in the right direction and appears primed to contribute over the final week of the regular season.

Giants' Brandon Crawford: Remains out Friday
Crawford (finger) remains out of the lineup Friday in San Diego.
He will miss his third game in a row after dislocating the pinkie finger on his glove hand. It sounds like he is steadily improving, and it would not be surprising if he returned at some point during this weekend's series. Ehire Adrianza will get the start at shortstop and hit eighth in Crawford's place Friday.
