Gordon went 3-for-6 with two doubles, two runs scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Friday's 12-7 win over the Pirates.

He's now swiped a base in three straight games, giving him 21 on the season. Gordon also has six hits and five runs over that stretch, pushing his slash line on the year to .282/.331/.357.

D'Arnaud is not in the lineup Friday against the Royals.

D'Arnaud is 0-for-9 over his last three games, so he'll give way to Erick Aybar at shortstop for the second time in three days. Neither of the two have offered much production at the plate, so it appears they'll continue to split duties for the time being.

DeJong is not in the lineup Friday against the Phillies, David Solomon of 550 KTRS reports.

DeJong has been the primary second baseman for St. Louis since his callup in late May, although he'll head to the bench now that regular second baseman Kolten Wong is back from the disabled list. It's unclear how manager Mike Matheny plans to divvy up playing time moving forward, although DeJong's recent skid at the plate could spell a reduction in playing time for him or even a demotion back to the minor leagues.

Owings went 2-for-5 with a pair of doubles, two RBI and a run scored in Thursday's 15-3 win over the Padres.

Prior to this week, Owings had been in the midst of a slump in the power department, supplying only four extra-base hits in a 15-game stretch. He seemed to settle into a groove again during the three-game series, going 4-for-11 with three extra-base knocks, six RBI and four runs. The 25-year-old continues to deliver career-best numbers across the board in what could be an All-Star-worthy campaign.

Baez is batting sixth and playing shortstop Friday, Bruce Miles of the Chicago Daily Herald reports.

Addison Russell was already sharing time at shortstop with Baez and was not with the Cubs on Thursday due to an upcoming investigation by the league into a domestic violence accusation. Baez is 4-for-15 with one home run and three RBI to start June and will face the Rockies' German Marquez in the matinee clash.

Turner went 3-for-4 with a walk, two runs scored and three stolen bases in Thursday's win over the Orioles.

The 23-year-old is arguably the hottest leadoff hitter in the league right now, and Turner has put together a .390/.432/.488 slash line with 10 steals and nine runs in his last nine games. Expect him to continue racking up big numbers in those fantasy categories from atop a very potent Nats offense.

Story was 0-for-4 with four strikeouts Thursday against the Cubs during the Rockies' 4-1 victory.

Story's struggles continued into Thursday, evidenced by the fact he could not put the ball in play. If there's a positive to take away from the evening, Story saw 25 pitches at the plate across his four at-bats. While Story's playing time isn't necessarily in jeopardy, he is slashing .212/.309/.418.

Swanson went 3-for-4 with a homer, three RBI and three runs in Wednesday's 14-1 win over Philadelphia.

The fine effort pulled his batting average back over the Mendoza Line. It's certainly been a tough year for the 2015 draft's No. 1 overall pick, but it looks like the Braves -- going nowhere as they are -- will continue giving him the opportunity to play every day and gain experience. There are almost certainly better shortstop options kicking around on most waiver wires.

Seager went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 2-1 win over the Nationals.

Seager got the Dodgers on the board in the sixth inning with a 422-foot blast to center off Stephen Strasburg. Seager's eighth homer of the season started a two-out, two-run rally that was the margin of victory for Los Angeles. The 23-year-old phenom has been scuffling lately -- he's hitting just .192 in June with one RBI -- but remains one of the best shortstops around.

D'Arnaud is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Diamondbacks.

Neither d'Arnaud or Erick Aybar have been great at the plate for San Diego, so it seems like they're locked in a timeshare for starts at shortstop until one of them shows signs of life with the bat. Aybar will pick up the start Wednesday evening.
