Crawford, 21, is batting just .165/.272/.190 with five RBI and one steal through 21 games at Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Crawford is still working out the kinks since being promoted from Double-A, though the sample size is small and he is just 21 years of age. The Phils should be in no rush to promote Crawford to the bigs, meaning that he'll have plenty of time to turn things around at this level.

D'Arnaud is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Reds.

D'Arnaud has been one of the few bright spots in Atlanta's lineup this season, so it's no surprise that the 29-year-old is just now getting his first day off of the month. The California native is leading the team in batting average and is second in on-base percentage, boasting a slash line of .309/.362/.402 to go along with with three RBI and four stolen bases through 28 games this season.

Baez went 2-for-5 with two runs scored, three RBI and his fifth home run of the season in Sunday's 13-2 rout of the Braves.

He's having an impressive June since becoming a regular member of the Cubs' starting lineup, hitting .344 (11-for-32) with three homers and 12 RBI. Baez's 3:25 BB:K on the season remains scary, but so far in 2016 he's been able to make it work.

Castro was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett on Sunday, Kevin McAlpin of 680 AM Atlanta reports.

Castro will be the last man out following the activation of Erick Aybar (foot), as both Castro and Chase d'Arnaud had been splitting time at shortstop with the regular starter on the shelf. According to David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal Constitution, d'Arnaud will get the starting nod at second base Sunday. With an infield near full strength, the 23-year-old Castro will head back to the minors where he can continue to see consistent at-bats.

Owings was placed on the 15-day disabled list Saturday due to plantar fasciitis in his left foot.

The injury kept him out of each of the last four games, and it will cost Owings extended time as well. Michael Bourn will likely take over the primary role in center field, while the team recalled right-handed pitcher Zack Godley to replace him on the 25-man roster and to start Saturday.

Baez isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Braves.

Baez can now add first base to his resume after slotting in there for Anthony Rizzo on Friday, but will take his turn of rest Saturday. Kris Bryant will make his third consecutive start at third base, while Chris Coghlan enters the lineup in left field, batting sixth.

Owings (foot) is out of the lineup again for Friday's game against the Marlins.

Owings has missed the last three games due to a persisting foot injury that has shown the possibility of plantar fasciitis according to manager Chip Hale. This particular injury would affect Owings for the rest of the season, which could make playing every day challenging.

Baez is in the lineup at third base against the Braves on Friday.

With Kris Bryant playing in left field since Jorge Soler landed on the DL with a hamstring strain, Baez will man the hot corner while batting sixth in the lineup. Baez has spent a fair amount of time at third base this season and is batting .375 with two home runs and nine RBI in 24 at-bats during the month of June.

D'Arnaud went 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run in a 4-2 road win against the Padres on Wednesday.

If you happened to make a preseason bet on which of the d'Arnaud brothers -- Chase and Travis -- would hold more fantasy value through the first two months of 2016, whoever took the underdog has won running away. Indeed, while Travis struggled to a .196 average before going on the DL, Chase has stunningly hit .345 over his first 84 MLB at-bats of the season. That's quite the improvement after he was on the verge of washing out of the majors while with the Phillies last year. That said, d'Arnaud has a distinctly unimpressive track record with the bat and isn't a good bet to keep this up. His calling card is his speed -- the 29-year-old infielder is only a career .261/.331/.384 hitter in the minors, but has exceeded 20 steals six times.

Story is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Dodgers, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.

Story has started each of the last 13 games for the Rockies and will get a well-earned day off Wednesday. In his place, Christhian Adames will slot into the shortstop position and bat eighth. Story will likely be back in the lineup Thursday against the Pirates.
