Tommy Edman LF | LAD
Cardinals' Tommy Edman: Productive in blowout win
Edman went 3-for-6 with two doubles, three runs, two RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's 18-4 win over the Pirates.
The 27-year-old started at shortstop for the second time in the last three games with Nolan Gorman back in the lineup Sunday, and Edman capped off a strong series against the Pirates with his three-hit performance. Edman has crossed the plate in nine of the last 12 games and has hit .280 with a home run, a triple, three doubles, 13 runs, seven RBI and three stolen bases during that time.

Dansby Swanson SS | CHC
Braves' Dansby Swanson: Swipes sixth bag
Swanson went 1-for-4 with two RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's 4-3 loss to Miami.
Swanson knocked an RBI single in the fifth inning and added an RBI groundout in the ninth, but it wasn't enough to overcome Sandy Alcantara's complete game. He's up to six stolen bases after picking up two this weekend against the Marlins. The 28-year-old shortstop is hitting .242 in May, bringing his season slash line to .229/.301/.400 with 19 RBI.

Javier Baez SS | DET
Tigers' Javier Baez: Homers in win Sunday
Baez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's win over the Guardians.
Baez also struck out twice in the contest, and it's been a bit of a choppy first season in Detroit. The shortstop is batting just .207 with a .575 OPS and three home runs through 31 games. This was also Baez's first long ball since April 26, but he's been a streaky performer at times in the past, so a hot streak could be just around the corner with Sunday perhaps serving as the jumping off point.

Tim Anderson 2B | LAA
White Sox's Tim Anderson: Returns to lineup for nightcap
Anderson (undisclosed) is starting the second game of Sunday's doubleheader against the Yankees.
Anderson was scratched from the lineup for Sunday's matinee for an unspecified reason, but he'll start at shortstop and lead off in Game 2. Over his last three games, he's gone 7-for-12 with three RBI, two runs, two stolen bases and three walks.

Jose Barrero SS | BAL
Reds' Jose Barrero: In store for lengthy rehab
Reds manager David Bell confirmed Sunday that Barrero (hand) will likely require the full 20-day rehab window at Triple-A Louisville before being activated from the 10-day injured list, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Sidelined since undergoing surgery in late March to repair a hook of the hamate bone of his left hand, Barrero was cleared to join Louisville on Friday to begin the rehab assignment. In addition to picking up at-bats to regain his timing at the plate after having not played in a competitive game since October, Barrero will need to prove he can handle the rigors of playing a full nine innings in the middle infield on back-to-back days while he's at Louisville. The Reds may not have an everyday role in the big leagues available for him once he's back to full strength, so Barrero could still be activated from the IL and optioned to Louisville once his 20-day rehab window concludes.

Nick Allen SS | HOU
Athletics' Nick Allen: Sent to minors
Allen was optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas on Sunday, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Allen was promoted from Las Vegas on Wednesday and will return there after going 0-for-4 in two appearances for the A's. He's unlikely to have much of a role in the majors while Oakland's infield remains in good health.

Tim Anderson 2B | LAA
White Sox's Tim Anderson: Scratched from Game 1 lineup
Anderson was scratched from the lineup for Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader against the Yankees for unspecified reasons.
The 28-year-old was penciled in to start at shortstop and bat atop the order, per usual, but he's absent from the revised lineup that was released by the White Sox. It's unclear whether Anderson is dealing with an injury or if he'll be available for either game of Sunday's twin bill. Yoan Moncada (leg) will take over the leadoff spot while Leury Garcia starts at shortstop.

Miguel Rojas 2B | LAD
Marlins' Miguel Rojas: On bench with calf issue
Rojas (calf) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Atlanta, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
He'll take a seat for the series finale after exiting Saturday's 4-3 loss with left calf tightness. Erik Gonzalez will fill in at shortstop in place of Rojas, who could be ready to go for Tuesday's game at Tampa Bay following Monday's off day.

Andrew Velazquez SS | TEX
Angels' Andrew Velazquez: Knocks two-run homer Saturday
Velazquez went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in a 5-3 victory versus Oakland on Saturday.
Velazquez gave the Angels a 5-0 lead with his two-run shot in the seventh inning, and that proved to be the difference in the 5-3 win. The infielder is still under the Mendoza line with a .194 average on the season, but he has shown signs of life at the plate of late, batting .286 with three doubles, two homers, six RBI and two stolen bases over his past 12 contests.

Carlos Correa SS | HOU
Twins' Carlos Correa: Day off Sunday
Correa is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Kansas City, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.
Correa started the past three games after being reinstated from the 10-day injured list Wednesday, and he'll head to the bench after going 5-for-13 with two doubles, two walks, three RBI and three runs during that span. Nick Gordon will start at shortstop and bat seventh in his place.
