Trea Turner SS | PHI
Dodgers' Trea Turner: Snags 27th steal
Turner went 1-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base Sunday in a victory over the Padres.
Turner entered the contest without a steal in his past 13 games, but he ended the drought with a first-inning theft of second base. The infielder is just 1-for-11 over his past three games but still leads the National League with a .316 batting average and 27 stolen bases.

Tommy Edman LF | LAD
Cardinals' Tommy Edman: Swipes 25th base
Edman went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in a win over the Reds on Sunday.
Nolan Arenado did all the damage on the scoreboard with a first-inning two-run home run, but Edman gave fantasy managers something to smile about with more success on the basepaths. The proficient leadoff hitter's stolen base was his fourth of September and 25th of the campaign, and he's now sporting a modest three-game hitting streak as well.

Adalberto Mondesi SS | BOS
Royals' Adalberto Mondesi: Homers in win
Mondesi went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Twins.
Mondesi led off the second inning by taking Baily Ober deep to right field to put the Royals up 2-1. The home run ball snapped an 0-for-17 drought at the plate for the speedster and it was his second home run since returning from the injured list Sept. 1. The 25-year-old is now slashing .265/.286/.603 with six homers, 13 RBI, 11 runs scored, seven steals and 2:25 BB:K over 72 plate appearances.

Francisco Lindor SS | NYM
Mets' Francisco Lindor: Completes homer hat trick
Lindor went 3-for-4 with three home runs, three runs, five RBI and a walk in a 7-6 victory over the Yankees on Sunday.
Lindor powered the Mets offense Sunday with a three-run home run in the first inning and solo shots in the sixth and eighth, with the latter proving to be the deciding run in the game. With the impressive feat against the Mets' archrivals, Lindor has finally been initiated into New York baseball given his dismal performance for much of the season. The electric shortstop has turned things around in September with a .273/.377/.727 slash line in 12 games this month, though Sunday's performance is responsible for a large portion of the recent success.

Corey Seager SS | TEX
Dodgers' Corey Seager: Blasts homer No. 9
Seager went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in an 8-0 win against the Padres on Sunday.
Seager opened the game's scoring with his fourth-inning solo shot to left off Dinelson Lamet. The 27-year-old shortstop has cooled a bit of late but is still slashing .333/.439/.576 in 11 September games.

Tim Anderson 2B | LAA
White Sox's Tim Anderson: Expected back Tuesday
Manager Tony La Russa said he expects Anderson (hamstring) to be activated from the injured list Tuesday, Vinnie Duber of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
Assuming he does return Tuesday, Anderson will have missed only slightly more than the minimum 10 days while recovering from a left hamstring strain. The 28-year-old figures to get periodic rest for the remainder of the regular season as the playoff-bound White Sox try to stay healthy until October.

Brandon Crawford SS | STL
Giants' Brandon Crawford: Won't start Sunday
Crawford (wrist) will sit Sunday against the Cubs.
Crawford is considered day-to-day with wrist soreness, an issue which forced him to exit Saturday's game in the fifth inning. Mauricio Dubon will be the shortstop Sunday.
-
Xander Bogaerts SS | SD
Red Sox's Xander Bogaerts: On bench Sunday
Bogaerts is not starting Sunday's game against the White Sox, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.
It appears to be a regular day off for Bogaerts, who's gone 2-for-6 with three walks in two games since returning from the COVID-19 injured list. Jose Iglesias is starting at shortstop and batting ninth Sunday.
-
Jose Barrero SS | BAL
Reds' Jose Barrero: Sore following collision
Barrero won't start Sunday against St. Louis, as he's still sore after exiting Saturday's game following a collision with teammate Tyler Naquin, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.
The exact nature and severity of Barrero's injury is unclear, but he's yet to be diagnosed with anything other than soreness. Eugenio Suarez starts at shortstop in his absence.

Andrew Velazquez SS | TEX
Yankees' Andrew Velazquez: Sent to minors
The Yankees optioned Velazquez to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday.
The shortstop cedes his roster spot to Sunday's spot starter Clarke Schmidt. Velazquez enjoyed some nice games at the plate, but his .234/.246/.375 slash line in 65 plate appearances with the Yankees suggests he may have seen his final big-league action of 2021.
