Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Sunday that Seager (hand) will "most likely" require a minor-league rehab assignment before being reinstated from the 60-day injured list, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.

Seager continues to progress in his recovery from the fractured right hand, as he was spotted Sunday at Dodger Stadium fielding grounders and throwing from shortstop. While the Dodgers head to San Francisco on Tuesday for the start of a three-game series, Seager is expected to report to the team's spring training facility in Arizona to play in at least a couple of simulated games. If all goes well, Seager would presumably be ready to begin a rehab assignment during the upcoming weekend, which would likely rule out a return from the IL before the end of July. Seager still looks to be in good shape to be activated in the first week of August.

Rojas is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Rojas will take a seat for the first time in the second half after he slashed an impressive .361/.415/.556 through Miami's first 10 games since the All-Star break. Deven Marrero will fill in for Rojas at shortstop.

Swanson went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a walk, a run and an RBI in Saturday's 15-3 win over the Phillies.

After going hitless over a three-start stretch from July 18 to 21, Swanson has bounced back with a big series in Philadelphia. Through the first three contests against the Phillies, Swanson has gone 6-for-13 with a home run, two doubles, two walks and five RBI. He'll start at shortstop and bat fifth Sunday in the series finale.

Arcia is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies.

He'll sit for the third straight game in favor of Abraham Almonte, who seems to have moved ahead of Arcia on the depth chart in left field. Since getting a call-up to Atlanta in early July, Arcia has slashed .227/.292/.386 with two home runs and one stolen base.

Wendle went 4-for-5 with two doubles in Saturday's 8-2 win over Cleveland.

Unfortunately for the 31-year-old infielder, his big night didn't result in any offense as Austin Meadows kept clearing the bases in front of him, and the hitters behind him in the Rays' order went a combined 1-for-12. Wendle has delivered two multi-hit performances in six starts since the All-Star break, batting .370 (10-for-27) over that stretch, but a crowded roster keeps him from being an everyday player no matter how hot he is.

Bichette went 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, two additional runs scored and a walk in Saturday's 10-3 win over the Mets.

Bichette cranked a solo home run off Drew Smith in the seventh inning, increasing Toronto's lead. It was his second three-hit game and second homer of the month. The 23-year-old is batting .344 in the month of July. He is slashing .294/.345/.479 and leads the team with 13 stolen bases.

Luciano left Friday's game with Low-A San Jose due to minor shoulder discomfort, San Jose Giants broadcaster Joe Ritzo reports.

The issue doesn't appear to be a particularly significant one, as Luciano is merely considered day-to-day. The 19-year-old shortstop has looked quite good in his first taste of full-season ball, homering 16 times in 64 games while slashing .287/.379/.557.

Crawford (oblique) resumed baseball activities Saturday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Crawford hit the injured list Monday after an MRI revealed a mild oblique strain. He was originally given a return timeline of 10-to-14 days, and the fact that he's working out again within a week of being shut down seemingly backs that up.

Arcia is not starting Saturday's game against the Phillies.

The shortstop-turned-outfielder is omitted from the lineup for a second straight day after going 2-for-19 in his first five games out of the break. Abraham Almonte will start in left field and bat seventh Saturday.

There were whispers early this week that Seager could rejoin the Dodgers as soon as Wednesday, but that proved to be an inaccurate estimate. Seager continues to take part in baseball activities and doesn't appear to have suffered a setback, so it's unclear why his return date remains a mystery. The 2020 World Series MVP still seems likely to return to game action soon, but it's uncertain whether he'll jump right back into fold with the Dodgers or head out on a rehab assignment first.
