Story went 3-for-4 with a double, a run, an RBI, a stolen base and a walk during Wednesday's 9-6 win over San Francisco.

The 27-year-old received the day off Tuesday since he was 0-for-8 with six strikeouts over the previous two contests, but he provided significant production in his return to the lineup. Story has a .306/.383/.576 slash line with nine homers, 31 runs, 20 RBI and nine stolen bases through 36 games.

Baez went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Wednesday's 8-2 win over the Pirates.

Baez took Nick Tropeano deep in the fourth inning for his sixth home run of the season. The Chicago shortstop is still batting just .200 this season, and he'll obviously need to do better than 1-for-5 at the plate to raise that average, but he certainly has the talent to get hot in a hurry.

Lindor went 3-for-4 with a run scored and a double in Wednesday's 5-0 win over the Royals.

Lindor's biggest hit of the game was his ninth-inning double, and he came around to score on Tyler Naquin's second homer of the game. Through 37 contests, Lindor is slashing .283/.335/.461 with six homers, 17 RBI, 19 runs scored and two stolen bases. He's hit safely in nine straight games, going 15-for-38 (.395) in that span to firmly shake off his slow start to 2020.

Fletcher (ankle) isn't in Wednesday's lineup against the Padres.

Even though the Angels had an off day Tuesday, Fletcher will miss a second consecutive game after spraining his ankle Sunday. Luis Rengifo will serve as the second baseman Wednesday.

Rojas (abdomen) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Rojas exited Tuesday's win over the Blue Jays with abdominal soreness and is being labeled as day-to-day, but he'll miss out on at least one start while managing the injury. Miami called up top middle-infield prospect Jazz Chisholm on Tuesday, and he'll pick up his first MLB start at shortstop Wednesday while Rojas sits out. Given that Rojas has compiled a 1.010 OPS through 52 plate appearances this season, he should be able to regain his everyday role when healthy again. Chisholm seems more likely to factor into the mix at second base after the team traded Jonathan Villar to Toronto on Monday.

Crawford is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rockies, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

One of three San Francisco players to record six RBI in Tuesday's 23-5 victory, Crawford will get a well-deserved day off as the Giants wrap up their series at Coors Field. Daniel Robertson will fill in for Crawford at shortstop, batting eighth against Rockies lefty Kyle Freeland.

Adames went 3-for-3 with a double, a solo home run and a second run scored in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Yankees.

The shortstop picked up right where he'd left off at the end of August. Adames has three straight multi-hit efforts, and over his last 10 games he's batting .378 (14-for-37) with a 1.167 OPS. The hot streak has pushed his slash line on the season up to .316/.391/.579 with five homers, 15 RBI and 22 runs through 35 games.

Crawford went 3-for-6 with a home run, a double, a stolen base, three runs and six RBI in a 23-5 rout over the Rockies on Tuesday.

Crawford joined Alex Dickerson and Donovan Solano to form the first trio of teammates to each drive in six runs in one game in MLB history. Crawford fell a triple shy of the cycle with his performance, which included a three-run homer to right field in the sixth inning. The shortstop pushed his season slash line to .280/.353/.449 with the big effort. He also has four homers and 16 RBI this season.

Rojas was removed from Tuesday's win over the Blue Jays with abdominal soreness, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

The 31-year-old went 1-for-3 with a double and a caught stealing prior to exiting at the start of the eighth inning. Rojas should be considered day-to-day until the team further updates his status.

Ahmed went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Dodgers.

Ahmed took reliever Scott Alexander deep in the ninth inning to cut the deficit to three runs, but that was as close as it got. The 30-year-old Ahmed is slashing .242/.299/.387 with four homers, 19 RBI, 17 runs scored and two stolen bases through 36 contests. The homer Tuesday was just his fourth hit in his last 22 at-bats.
