Anderson went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in Tuesday's 10-5 loss to the Rays.

Anderson extended his hitting streak to eight games and is batting .515 (17-for-33) out of the gate. He was raised in the order to fifth for Tuesday's game and didn't miss a beat.

It remains difficult to predict exactly when he'll be back, but the latest report is in line with the initial estimates, which held that Turner's timetable would be longer than three weeks. Wilmer Difo has started every game at shortstop in his absence.

Seager is out of the lineup Tuesday against the Cardinals, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

It's merely a planned day off for the shortstop, who figures to continue to see the occasional maintenance day, at least in the short term as he was working his way back from elbow and hip injuries during spring training. Seager has found his stroke at the plate recently after a slow start, posting multi-hit efforts in three of his last four games to bring his slash line up to .250/.375/.375 through 40 at-bats.

Manager Terry Francona said Lindor (ankle) hit in the batting cage, fielded groundballs and did some agility work Tuesday, Jordan Horrobin of MLB.com reports.

The battery of activities marks a step forward for Lindor after the shortstop wasn't cleared to run at any point during the past week. The Indians will likely assess Lindor's condition over the next few days before mapping out a minor-league rehab schedule for him. The 25-year-old remains unlikely to make his season debut with the Indians until at least late April.

Anderson will start at shortstop and hit fifth Tuesday against the Rays, Paul Sullivan of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Anderson batted leadoff once and hit second on two occasions over the weekend during Chicago's four-game series with Seattle, but all of those assignments came against left-handed pitchers. He's hit either seventh or eighth in his other starts versus righties this season, but Anderson's hot bat will at least temporarily allow him to unseat Eloy Jimenez as the club's No. 5 batter. Anderson enters the contest with an enormous 1.326 OPS for the campaign, though his .565 BABIP and 3.3 BB% suggest that figure will soon fall precipitously.

Adames went 3-for-4 with a double, a walk and two runs in a win over the White Sox on Monday.

It's been a rough go for Adames in the early portion of this season, but there are certainly signs he's starting to break out of the doldrums. Monday's performance was naturally a fitting example, but the shortstop also went 3-for-7 over the prior two games. His three-hit day against the White Sox included his first extra-base of the season, but Adames is still looking to break the ice in the RBI category.

Correa went 2-for-4 with an RBI in Monday's 4-3 win over the Yankees.

Correa's dribbler up the first-base line turned into his second single of the game and plated the winning the run. It was his third RBI in the last four games as the Astros are slowly breaking out of an early-season offensive funk.

Story went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer and a walk in Monday's 8-6 loss to Atlanta.

Story is slowly picking up some steam after starting the year 2-for-19. He's knocked three homers in the last four games with seven RBI during that stretch.

Story (calf) is starting at shortstop and hitting fourth Monday against the Braves, Kyle Newman of The Denver Post reports.

Story exited Sunday's game against the Dodgers after being struck by a pitch on his right calf, however the issue won't force him to miss any additional time. The shortstop, who is 8-for-36 (.222) with a trio of homers and six RBI through 10 games this season, will face righty Julio Teheran in Monday's series opener.
