Crawford will undergo an MRI on his strained right forearm Sunday, Matt Breen of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Crawford's forearm has apparently been bothering him for a few days now, and it was a big enough issue Saturday to force his premature removal from the game. The severity of the injury remains unclear, but manager Gabe Kapler noted a trip to the disabled list is "possible," according to Breen.

Crawford exited Saturday's game against the Braves with a right elbow strain, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

It's unclear when Crawford sustained the injury, but he made an awkward throw on a play in the hole early in the game. The severity of the issue isn't known at this point. He was 0-for-1 before exiting the contest.

Pennington cleared waivers Saturday and accepted an outright assignment to Triple-A Louisville.

Pennington was already with Louisville, having been optioned there Thursday. Now off the 40-man roster, he's one step further away from returning to the big leagues, though his versatility leaves him multiple avenues back to the show. With a career .242/.309/.339 line in parts of 11 seasons, though, don't expect much from him if he does end up back with the big club.

Seager (hip) is back in the lineup for the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Giants, Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Seager suffered a minor hip injury Wednesday against the Marlins and sat out one game, but he won't miss any more than that. The young shortstop is hitting a mediocre .250/.343/.341 with just one home run through his first 102 plate appearances so far this season. His .292 BABIP is near the league average but far below his .352 career figure, so it's possible that he's been getting unlucky, though his hard-hit rate also sits at a career-low 35.6 percent.

Gordon (knee) is starting in center field and leading off Saturday against the Indians, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.

He was removed from Friday's game as a precaution after he was involved in a collision with the outfield wall. However, it was obviously a very minor issue, as he is back in for the afternoon game the following day. Deploy him as usual.

Wendle is out of Saturday's lineup against the Red Sox, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

With the Rays facing southpaw David Price, they are loading up the lineup with right-handed hitters, resulting in Wendle starting the game on the bench. Daniel Robertson will start at second base and hit fifth in his place. Wendle should be back in the lineup Sunday against righty Rick Porcello.

Baez went 1-for-4 with a run and an RBI in Friday's win over the Brewers.

With his RBI single in the first inning, Baez extended his hitting streak to 10 games. During this stretch, the young infielder is hitting .413 with three home runs, six doubles, 10 runs scored and 15 RBI. Baez is locked in at the plate right now and remains a strong option in all fantasy formats.

Anderson batted leadoff and went 2-for-5 with a double in Friday's 7-4 extra-inning win over the Royals.

Yoan Moncada is the primary leadoff bat for the White Sox, but he's been replaced atop the order the last three times when facing a left-handed starter, as was the case Friday against Kansas City's Danny Duffy. This was the third time Anderson's batted leadoff this season. He was the team's primary leadoff hitter to start the 2017 season, but his free-swinging ways eventually led to a drop to the seven hole, where he's been most often deployed this year. He's been a more patient hitter in 2018, striking out less frequently while taking an occasional walk along the way. He has seven free passes through 23 games after walking 13 times over 146 games in 2017.

Crawford went 1-for-3 with a walk and his second home run of the season in Friday's 6-4 win over the Dodgers.

Crawford teamed up with Evan Longoria to deliver solo shots off Hyun-Jin Ryu in the second inning. The 31-year-old has struggled to the tune of a .205/.259/.333 slash line through 23 games. His career-high 30.6 strikeout percentage is the main culprit of his early slump, as his .275 BABIP isn't that far off from his career norms. Crawford posted strikeout rates below 20 percent in each of the last two seasons, so expect the veteran to make the necessary mechanical adjustments to right the ship eventually.

Lindor went 3-for-5 with a home run and a double in Friday's win over the Mariners.

Lindor led off the bottom of the first with a home run, his fourth of the season. He also collected his sixth double of the year in addition to a single. The three-hit night brings his season average to .235, which is well below his career mark of .290. The young shortstop's hit totals are behind expectations, but he is running and scoring at a decent rate, with five stolen bases and 15 runs scored in 24 games.
