Kim's now 4-for-10 with three extra-base hits in his last three games. After a slow start to the year, he's gotten his slash line up to .222/.332/.384 with seven homers, 31 runs scored, 27 RBI and 13 steals across 60 contests.

Abrams was scratched from the Nationals' lineup prior to Saturday's game against the Guardians.

Abrams said that he jammed his shoulder while making a diving play during Friday's loss, per Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com, and it seems to be bothering him enough Saturday to warrant a day off. While Abrams recovers, Ildemaro Vargas will take over at shortstop and bat eighth.

Cruz isn't in the Pirates' lineup for Saturday's game against the Blue Jays, Andrew Destin of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

With lefty Yusei Kikuchi starting for Toronto, the left-handed bat of Cruz will step out of the lineup Saturday. Nick Gonzales will slide over to play shortstop while Jared Triolo covers the keystone.

Witt went 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 11-8 loss to the Padres.

Witt had multiple hits in five of his last six games in May, adding seven RBI despite just two extra-base hits in that span. The shortstop hit .315 through the end of April and exactly matched that mark in May, showing excellent consistency. He's added a stellar .917 OPS, nine home runs, 42 RBI, 51 runs scored, 16 stolen bases, 16 doubles and six triples over 59 contests this season.

DeJong went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double Friday against the Brewers.

DeJong led off the third inning with a solo home run, his eighth long ball of the season and first since May 20. In the 10 games since, he's hit just .182 with a 35.1 percent strikeout rate. Nevertheless, DeJong is locked into a near everyday role at shortstop and has maintained .202 ISO with a 103 wRC+ across 176 plate appearances on the campaign.

Hamilton went 3-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base in Friday's 7-3 win over the Tigers.

Getting the start at shortstop and batting eighth, Hamilton produced his second three-hit performance in the last eight games. The 26-year-old infielder has claimed a regular spot in Boston's starting lineup over the second half of May, and through the last 14 games he's slashing .375/.432/.575 with three doubles, a triple, a homer, four RBI, seven runs and five of his nine stolen bases on the season.

De La Cruz went 0-for-4 with a stolen base in Fridays 5-4 win over the Cubs.

De La Cruz's MLB-leading 32nd steal had no impact on the game, but the shortstop's cannon arm did. His 93.3 mph relay gunned down the potential tying run in the bottom of the ninth inning to preserve Cincinnati's win.

Neto went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases in Friday's 5-4 loss to the Mariners.

Neto singled and then stole second and third in the seventh inning, but he wasn't brought home. The shortstop had gone 16 games without a stolen base, though he hit a respectable .264 (14-for-53) with seven extra-base hits in that span. For the season, Neto is slashing .254/.305/.413 with eight steals, six home runs, 18 RBI, 20 runs scored and 12 doubles over 203 plate appearances in a starting role.

Tovar went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Friday's 4-1 win over the Dodgers.

Tovar was the only Rockie with multiple hits in the contest. This was his 10th multi-hit effort over his last 16 games, a span in which he's batting .356 (26-for-73) with four homers, nine RBI, 14 runs scored and one stolen base. The shortstop is up to a .294/.328/.481 slash line with eight homers, 24 RBI, 30 runs scored, four steals, 17 doubles and a triple over 55 contests this season. He still hits far better at home (.862 OPS), but he's been passable on the road this season as well with a .757 OPS away from Coors Field.

Crawford went 2-for-2 with a solo home run in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Phillies.

Crawford hadn't played since May 19, but he got the start at shortstop to give Masyn Winn a breather Friday. The homer was Crawford's first extra-base hit of the campaign, though he's logged just 37 plate appearances over 12 contests through the end of May. The 37-year-old shortstop is firmly in a bench role without enough playing time to make an impact in most fantasy formats.
