Volpe went 2-for-4 with an RBI, two runs scored and two steals in Sunday's 13-8 victory over the Athletics.

Volpe opened the Yankees' 13-run third inning with a single and a stolen base before driving in a run with another single and swiping second again later in the frame. He's now hitting .256 with a .780 OPS, three doubles, a homer, eight RBI, nine runs and four stolen bases across 13 games. The presence of Jose Caballero means Volpe isn't the unquestioned starter, though he has started five of the past six contests at shortstop.

De La Cruz (hamstring) will undergo an MRI on Monday, Pat Brennan of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

De La Cruz exited Sunday's 6-4 win over Atlanta in the fifth inning after pulling up lame on a single that should have been a double. The 24-year-old will now undergo additional imaging, placing some doubt on his status ahead of the team's three-game series at home against the Royals beginning Monday.

Rangers manager Skip Schumaker said Sunday that Seager (back) is expected to begin a minor-league rehab assignment during the upcoming week, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Seager had been scheduled to take part in an on-field work prior to Sunday's game against the Royals, and assuming he emerges from it no worse for wear, he'll report to an affiliate within the next few days. Though Seager hasn't required a rehab assignment at any point over the past three seasons during his previous five stints on the injured list, the Rangers are requiring him to play in the minors for the first time since 2023 due to the nature of the injury and what physical tests he still needs to pass, per McFarland. Seager, who has been on the shelf since May 18, will likely play in two or three games with Double-A Frisco beginning Tuesday before the Rangers decide whether to continue his assignment through the weekend or activate him from the 10-day IL.

De La Cruz was removed from Sunday's game against Atlanta due to right hamstring tightness. He went 2-for-2 with two runs and his 10th stolen base of the season prior to his departure.

The 24-year-old shortstop sustained the injury Sunday during the fifth inning, when he led off the frame with a likely double but was unable to make it past first base. He's scheduled for medical imaging Monday, per Pat Brennan of The Cincinnati Enquirer, and De La Cruz should continue to be considered day-to-day in the meantime.

Neto (neck) will start at shortstop and bat leadoff in Sunday's game against the Rays.

The 25-year-old is back in action after he was removed from Saturday's 14-3 win when he experienced whiplash following a collision at home plate with Ian Seymour in the seventh inning. Neto enters Sunday having gone 7-for-19 with three doubles, four walks, one stolen base, six runs and three RBI over his last five games.

Shewmake (groin) is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Shewmake exited Saturday's contest due to groin soreness and will sit for at least one game. Nick Allen is picking up a start at second base for Houston in the series finale.

Mateo will start at designated hitter and bat seventh in Sunday's game against the Reds.

Mateo will stick in the lineup for a fifth straight game Sunday, this time handling a non-defensive role after his prior three starts came at shortstop. Atlanta could continue to move forward with Mateo as its primary option at shortstop over Ha-Seong Kim, who is in the lineup Sunday but may be ticketed for a part-time role after slashing just .095/.191/.095 over his 47 plate appearances since being activated from the injured list May 11. Mateo, meanwhile, has been much more productive when called upon this season, generating an .845 OPS while going 7-for-8 on stolen-base attempts in 81 plate appearances. With his playing time on the rise, Mateo could be worth a look for fantasy managers looking to make up ground in the steals category in particular.

The Pirates placed Griffin on the 10-day injured list Sunday due to a flexor strain in his right elbow.

It's unclear exactly how long the 20-year-old has been dealing with the injury, but general manager Ben Cherington indicated that Griffin will likely be in line for a "short-term stay" on the IL, per Colin Beazley of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Ryan O'Hearn (quadriceps) was reinstated from the 10-day IL in a corresponding move.

Bogaerts went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk against Washington in a loss Saturday.

Bogaerts kicked off the scoring with a 417-foot solo shot to center field in the second inning. The long ball was his first since he went deep in back-to-back games May 5-6. The veteran infielder has struggled at the plate since those pair of contests, batting just .181 with only four RBI over 20 contests. However, he did swipe five bases during that span and is 9-for-9 on theft attempts this season.
