Kittredge (shoulder/paternity) resumed his rehab assignment at Triple-A Norfolk on Friday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Kittredge's assignment was paused Tuesday when he went on paternity leave, but he's now back with the Tides, continuing to work his way back from the right shoulder inflammation that sent him to the injured list at the beginning of the year. The 36-year-old has already made three appearances at Triple-A, allowing one earned run on three hits and a walk while striking out five batters through 2.2 innings.

Manager Craig Albernaz said Friday that O'Neill (concussion) needs more time to recover and still has yet to clear protocol, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

O'Neill is eligible to come off the 7-day concussion injured list Saturday, but that's not going to happen. With O'Neill sidelined, Dylan Beavers and Leody Taveras will continue to see regular at-bats in the Baltimore outfield mix.

Manager Alex Cora said Friday that Crawford (wrist/forearm) will likely require an MRI on his injured forearm, Chris Henrique of BostonSportsJournal.com reports.

Cora initially said Crawford probably wouldn't require imaging, but Crawford is still feeling sore after he was pulled off his rehab assignment Wednesday. The right-hander missed the entirety of the 2025 season with a right wrist injury that required surgery.

Collins (knee) remains out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Yankees.

Collins will miss his third straight start after he was injured Tuesday against the Tigers. With Collins sitting Friday, Lane Thomas is manning left field and batting sixth against right-hander Cam Schlittler.

The Tigers recalled Lee from Triple-A Toledo on Friday.

A top prospect in the Tigers organization, Lee gets the promotion after Zach McKinstry (hip/abdomen) was placed on the 10-day injured list. Lee will make his major-league debut Friday, as he's hitting eighth and playing third base against Red Sox lefty Ranger Suarez. The 23-year-old Lee was acquired from the Phillies at the trade deadline during the 2023 season and slashed .243/.342/.406 with 14 home runs, 61 RBI, 81 runs scored and 22 stolen bases at Triple-A last season.

The Tigers placed McKinstry on the 10-day injured list Friday with left hip/abdominal inflammation.

McKinstry was forced from Wednesday's game against the Royals with a couple of issues, as he was also said to be dealing with a scraped chest. It's been a tough start to the 2026 campaign for the 2025 All-Star, as McKinstry is slashing just .209/.261/.326 across 46 plate appearances. In a corresponding move, the Tigers recalled Hao-Yu Lee from Triple-A Toledo.

Dezenzo (elbow) will begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Corpus Christi on Friday.

Dezenzo sustained a sprained elbow while playing for Team Italy in the World Baseball Classic last month. The 25-year-old appeared in 34 games for the Astros last season, slashing .245/.321/.367 with two homers, 10 RBI, 17 runs scored, one stolen base and an 11:37 BB:K across 109 plate appearances.

Rutschman (ankle) said Friday that he's progressed to running and going through drills but remains without a firm timetable for return, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Rutschman added that he's feeling a lot better after landing on the 10-day injured list with left ankle inflammation last weekend. The catcher is eligible to be reinstated from the injured list Tuesday in Kansas City, but it's unclear if he'll be ready. Samuel Basallo continues to handle primary catching duties for the Orioles.

The Astros transferred Hader (biceps) to the 60-day injured list Friday.

The Astros needed the spot on the 40-man roster to select Peter Lambert's contract from Triple-A ahead of Friday's start against St. Louis. With Hader being transferred to the 60-day IL, he won't be eligible to pitch until late May. Hader threw his first live batting practice Tuesday, essentially marking the start of his spring training.

The Astros optioned Roa to Triple-A Sugar Land on Friday, Julia Morales of Space City Home Network reports.

Houston needed room for Peter Lambert, who is getting the promotion ahead of Friday's start against the Cardinals. Roa has pitched in seven games out of the bullpen for the Astros this season, posting a 5.19 ERA, 1.96 WHIP and 6:7 K:BB across 8.2 innings.
