Story lost his four-game hitting streak with an 0-for-4 performance in Friday's series opener, but he'll remain in the lineup Saturday as the designated hitter against Tarik Skubal and the Tigers with Andruw Monasterio at shortstop.

Narvaez isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Tigers, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.

Narvaez will miss a third consecutive start Saturday after posting a .409 OPS through his first 12 games of the season. Connor Wong, on the other hand, owns a 1.006 OPS through eight games and may have finally surpassed Narvaez as Boston's primary starter at catcher.

Schultz is slated to start Sunday's game against the Athletics at Sutter Health Park.

After being called up from Triple-A Charlotte earlier in the week, the 6-foot-10 lefty had an uneven MLB debut Tuesday against the Rays. Schultz recorded four strikeouts and induced five swinging strikes with a fastball that averaged 96.8 miles per hour over 4.1 innings, but the control problems that plagued him in the minors last season cropped up again, as he issued four walks. Though he'll have a good opportunity to add to his punchout total against an Athletics offense that owns the third-highest strikeout rate in the majors (25.7 percent) this season, pitching in a hitter-friendly environment in Sacramento will make him a risky lineup option for fantasy managers who are looking to protect their ratios.

Guerrero picked up a minor finger injury in Friday's loss to the Brewers, but Blue Jays manager John Schneider indicated after the game that the first baseman is expected to be in the lineup Saturday, Mitch Bannon of The Athletic reports.

Guerrero's left index finger clipped Jorge Barrosa on a play at first base, but he remained in the game Friday and doesn't look like he'll miss any time. Toronto can ill afford to lose Guerrero given all their other injuries, and through 19 games he's slashing .319/.427/.420 with one homer and eight RBI.

Grisham isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Royals.

Grisham will get a chance to clear his head Saturday after going just 4-for-28 (.143) at the dish across his last 10 games. Randal Grichuk, Cody Bellinger and Aaron Judge will start across the outfield for New York while Grisham sits.

Wells isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Royals.

Wells owns just a .284 OPS through 18 plate appearances against lefties this season, so he'll move to the bench Saturday with Noah Cameron on the mound for Kansas City. J.C. Escarra will fill in behind the plate and bat ninth.

Collins (knee) will serve as the designated hitter and bat seventh during Saturday's game against the Yankees.

Collins missed the Royals' last three games after bruising his right knee during Tuesday's contest, but he was available off the bench Friday and will make his return to the starting nine Saturday. He'd been in a bit of a cold spell before getting hurt, going 3-for-18 at the plate over his last seven games.

Perez isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Yankees.

Perez will catch a breather Saturday after going 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts in Friday's series opener. Carter Jensen will handle catching duties for the Royals instead while Isaac Collins starts as the DH and Lane Thomas patrols left field.

Bibee came away with a no-decision in Friday's 6-4 loss to the Orioles, allowing four hits and three walks over six scoreless innings. He struck out five.

The quality start was the first of 2026 for Bibee but he remains winless, having exited the mound after 96 pitches (60 strikes) with the game still scoreless before both offenses got frisky against the bullpens. Bibee is still trying to find a rhythm on the young season, and he'll take a 4.81 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 23:9 K:BB through 24.1 innings into his next start, which is scheduled to come at home next week against the Astros.

Helsley walked one and struck out one in a scoreless ninth inning Friday to record his sixth save of the season in a 6-4 win over the Guardians.

The right-hander continues to get the job done as the Orioles' closer, and Helsley has converted all six of his save chances to begin the season. Last year's homer issues also have yet to resurface -- after he served up nine long balls over 56 innings in 2025 between the Cardinals and Mets, leading to a 4.50 ERA, Helsley has yet to be taken deep over 8.1 innings in 2026 while producing a 2.16 ERA.
