Blue Jays' Ricky Tiedemann: Rejoins big club
The Blue Jays recalled Tiedemann from Triple-A Buffalo on Tuesday.

Christian Franklin CF | BAL
Orioles' Christian Franklin: Out with hand inflammation
The Orioles placed Franklin on the 10-day injured list Tuesday, retroactive to Aug. 31, due to left hand inflammation.
It's unclear when or how Franklin sustained the injury, though he last appeared in Sunday's game against the A's and went 0-for-3 with a strikeout. He'll be eligible to be reinstated Sept. 11 in Toronto, though it's unclear how long he's expected to be sidelined.

Joshua Kuroda-Grauer 2B | ATH
Athletics' Joshua Kuroda-Grauer: Transferred to 60-day IL
The Athletics transferred Kuroda-Grauer (groin) to the 60-day injured list Tuesday.
Kuroda-Grauer will now not be eligible for activation until late September, and it's possible his season is over after he had surgery in late July to address a ruptured testicle. The transaction frees up a spot on the 40-man roster.

Denzel Clarke CF | ATH
Athletics' Denzel Clarke: Reinstated from 60-day injured list
The Athletics activated Clarke (hamstring) from the 60-day injured list Tuesday.
Clarke has been out of commission since late April, first due to a bone bruise in his foot and later because of a severe hamstring strain. The outfielder has hit only .214/.262/.323 with a 38.8 percent strikeout rate in his first 219 big-league plate appearances. However, Clarke's elite defense could mean regular reps in center field down the stretch, with Henry Bolte shifting to left field.

Drew Waters CF | KC
Royals' Drew Waters: Back with big club
The Royals selected Waters' contract from Triple-A Omaha on Tuesday.
Waters has spent all of this season at Triple-A Omaha after being removed from the Royals' 40-man roster in late March, but he's back in the big leagues after posting a .731 OPS with 12 homers and 17 steals for Omaha. The 27-year-old will likely be utilized as an extra outfielder in Kansas City.
