Walker is hitless with nine strikeouts in his last four games, so he's getting a day to clear his head. Victor Caratini gets the start at first base, batting fifth.

Langford (side) is not in Saturday's lineup against the Marlins.

It was announced Friday that he was being held out with left side tightness, and Langford will miss a second game in a row. Langford is hitting .241 with 21 home runs and 21 steals in 485 at-bats. Michael Helman picks up the start in center field, batting ninth.

The Orioles claimed Hamel off waivers from the Mets on Saturday and optioned him to Triple-A Norfolk, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

A third-round selection in 2021 out of Dallas Baptist, Hamel was moved from a starting role to a relief role this year at Triple-A and made his big-league debut, logging one scoreless inning Wednesday against the Padres before being designated for assignment. Hamel had a 4.61 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 39:13 K:BB in 41 innings out of the Triple-A Syracuse bullpen.

Wilcox was optioned to Triple-A Durham on Saturday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The 26-year-old righty made his big-league debut Friday, giving up seven runs (three earned) on four hits and three walks in one inning against the Red Sox. Wilcox has a 3.71 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 57:27 K:BB in 51 innings as a multi-inning reliever at Triple-A.

Scholtens was recalled from Triple-A Durham on Saturday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Scholtens, who was claimed off waivers by Tampa Bay on Aug. 4 after he was designated for assignment by the White Sox, has a 4.13 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 43:9 K:BB in 32.2 innings across seven starts for the Bulls. The 31-year-old righty hasn't pitched in the majors since 2023, when he logged a 5.29 ERA and 1.53 WHIP in 85 innings for the White Sox. He'll likely work as a low-leverage reliever capable of getting more than three outs.

Moore went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's loss to Colorado.

Moore put the Angels on the board with a two-run homer that tied the score 2-2 in the second inning. The rookie second baseman has been flashing his power of late, belting three homers in six games since being called back up to the big leagues Sept. 13. His other two hits during that span have been doubles, though he's also struck out nine times in 20 plate appearances.

Lee isn't in the lineup for the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Guardians.

Lee will grab a seat on the bench to begin Saturday's twin bill after going 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts Friday. Ryan Fitzgerald will start at shortstop and bat seventh for the Twins.

Guzman went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, an additional run and a walk in a loss to the Rockies on Friday.

Guzman hit the second of two Angels homers in the second inning, going 415 feet deep to left field. It was his second home run (and fourth overall hit) through six games as a pro. Though he's shown good pop during his short time in the majors, Guzman has also struck out in a whopping 12 of his 20 plate appearances.

Chisholm went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's loss to Baltimore.

Chisholm accounted for the Yankees' only runs in the game with his homer to right-center field in the seventh inning. The long ball was his 30th of the campaign (a career high) and, paired with his 30 thefts, put him in rarified air as just the third Yankees player with a 30-30 season (Bobby Bonds and Alfonso Soriano are the others). Juan Soto of the Mets is the only other MLB player to reach the 30-30 mark so far this season.

Kayfus isn't in the lineup for the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against Minnesota.

Kayfus snapped his five-game hitting streak with an 0-for-2 performance Friday, and he'll stay put in the dugout to begin Saturday's festivities. Kyle Manzardo will get the nod at first base, and George Valera will cover right field with Kayfus out.
