Crochet (13-5) took the loss Monday, allowing five runs on seven hits and a walk over four innings against the Astros. He struck out five.

Crochet struggled Monday, lasting a season-low four innings and matching his season high with five earned runs allowed. The outing hurts the southpaw's Cy Young candidacy, but his overall numbers -- a 2.48 ERA and 1.10 WHIP across 152.1 innings and 24 starts -- still rank him among the American League's top pitchers this season.

Burger went 1-for-1 with a walk-off RBI single in Monday's 7-6 win over the Diamondbacks.

Burger didn't appear during the first nine innings but was called on to pinch-hit for Joc Pederson against lefty Andrew Saalfrank in the 10th inning, delivering a walk-off hit. Recently activated from the injured list Aug. 8, Burger will look to earn playing time in what has been a challenging season.

Jansen earned a save against the Dodgers on Monday, striking out two batters in a perfect ninth inning.

Jansen spent his first 12 big-league campaigns with the Dodgers, but that didn't give them any sort of advantage over him Monday. Rather, Jansen blew past the three hitters he faced with ease, needing just nine pitches (eight strikes) to retire the side in order and notch a pair of punchouts. The reigning AL Reliever of the Month has been downright dominant since mid-June; he hasn't given up any earned runs over his past 19 appearances spanning 19.1 innings while picking up eight saves and posting a 22:4 K:BB over that span. Jansen's 2.66 season ERA is on pace for his lowest mark since he registered a 2.22 ERA over 69 regular-season appearances in his final campaign with the Dodgers in 2021.

Seager went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI, a run scored and a walk in Monday's 7-6 victory over the Diamondbacks.

Seager delivered a pair of run-scoring hits to help keep the Rangers in contention before they eventually walked it off in extra innings. The shortstop has maintained his consistent production in 2025, posting an .847 OPS with 16 doubles and 17 homers over 87 games.

Langford went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Monday's 7-6 win over the Diamondbacks.

Langford ended his home run drought Monday, launching his first bomb since July 11 with a three-run blast in the sixth inning to pull the Rangers closer. While he hasn't delivered the breakout many expected in his second season, the young outfielder still holds a solid .733 OPS with 16 homers and 15 steals through 99 games.

Eovaldi did not factor into the decision Monday, allowing five runs on eight hits and a walk over five innings in a 7-6 victory over the Diamondbacks. He struck out three.

Eovaldi was hit hard early Monday, giving up three home runs across the second and third innings. The rough outing snapped an incredible stretch in which the right-hander logged 38.2 innings over his previous six starts with a 0.47 ERA and 0.78 WHIP. Even after the setback, his season line remains outstanding at a 1.71 ERA and 0.88 WHIP across 116 innings in 20 starts.

Soriano (8-9) earned the win over the Dodgers on Monday, allowing two hits and issuing two walks while striking out six batters over six scoreless innings.

Soriano was very sharp Monday, limiting the Dodgers to two harmless singles and two walks. He notched his fourth quality start over his past five outings, though the one game in which he didn't accomplish that feat was a seven-run, four-inning blowup against Tampa Bay his previous time on the mound. Soriano has been prone to the occasional ugly outing this year -- he has given up five or more runs on six occasions -- but he's also racked up seven appearances of six-plus frames without allowing an earned run. Overall, he's at a 3.84 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 125:63 K:BB over 143 innings spanning 25 starts.

Mederos will be recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake to start Tuesday's game against the Dodgers, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.

Mederos will be stepping in for Tyler Anderson, who was scratched from his scheduled start due to a back injury. The right-hander last appeared in the big leagues July 7 against the Rangers in a relief role but has been operating as a starter down at Triple-A, surrendering two or fewer runs in each of his last five outings while posting a 1.73 ERA. He tossed four shutout innings in his most recent outing with Salt Lake on Friday, so Mederos will be pitching on three days' rest Tuesday and could be in line for something less than a typical starter's workload in his first career MLB start.

Anderson has been scratched from Tuesday's scheduled start against the Dodgers due to back stiffness, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.

Anderson is presumably headed for further testing to determine if the injury will force him to the IL. Victor Mederos will be recalled to start Tuesday's game in Anderson's place.

Alexander allowed two hits and one walk while striking out five across 4.1 scoreless innings against the White Sox on Monday. He did not factor into the decision.

Alexander followed Elvis Peguero into the game and was especially effective as a bulk reliever. He generated 15 called strikes on 65 total pitches, allowing him to work from ahead in the count in most at-bats. Alexander has flipped between a starting workload and a more traditional relief role but has maintained an impressive 2.59 ERA acorss 17 appearances and 41.2 innings since joining the White Sox on June 8.
