He finished his outing with 10 whiffs but needed 95 pitches to record just 10 outs, so he could last long enough to pick up the win. Lopez sits at a 4.29 ERA and 1.34 WHIP across 65 innings heading into his next start, which is tentatively slated for next weekend at home against the Diamondbacks.

Clase (5-3) took a blown save and the loss by allowing three runs on a hit and two walks over one-third of an inning in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader versus the Royals. He then pitched a perfect inning to earn a save in the second game of the twin bill.

It's rare for a reliever to be called on to pitch twice in the same day, and even rarer for the second appearance to come after the type Clase had in the day game, when he threw just six of 15 pitches for strikes. He showed a strong ability to bounce back by locking down his 24th save in 29 chances with his outing in the nightcap. While Clase has failed to match his dominance from 2024, he remains firmly entrenched as the Guardians' closer and has mostly bounced back from an ugly start to the campaign.

Bibee (7-9) allowed four runs on seven hits and struck out eight without walking a batter over five innings to earn the win in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader versus the Royals.

Bibee was tagged for two-run home runs by Freddy Fermin and Bobby Witt, but he got enough run support from the Guardians to escape with the win. This was just the sixth time in 21 starts that Bibee has allowed multiple homers, though two of those instances have come in his five outings in July. He's allowed 20 runs (18 earned) across 26.1 innings this month, though he's also won three of his starts in that span. Overall, he has a 4.39 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 107:33 K:BB across 121 innings this season. The 26-year-old's next start is projected to be at home versus the Twins.

Buxton (side) will get imaging Sunday, though Rays manager Rocco Baldelli said the outfielder was "relatively upbeat" after being removed from Saturday's game against Washington, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.

Baldelli mentioned that Buxton felt soreness in his side "more [while] running than anything else," which suggests at least a little optimism about the issue. Still, it wouldn't be surprising if Buxton -- who has managed to stay mostly healthy this season despite logging a stint on the 7-day concussion IL in May -- were to be held out of Sunday's series finale. The Twins should have more information about Buxton's status after receiving the results of his tests Sunday.

Butler went 1-for-5 with a three-run homer in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Astros.

Butler gave the Athletics a four-run cushion the ninth on a three-run long shot off Hector Neris. Even with Saturday's homer, Butler has struggled at the plate in nine games since the All-Star break, going 3-for-32 (.094) with one steal, two home runs and four RBI with a 44.1 percent strikeout rate.

Williams allowed two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out three over six innings in a no-decision in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader versus the Royals.

Williams has posted three quality starts over his last four outings, though he has just one win for his efforts and has a 27:11 K:BB across 24 innings during that stretch. Williams continues to battle a high walk rate (4.9 BB/9), but he's been fairly successful with a 3.51 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 109 strikeouts over 110.1 innings through 21 starts. The 26-year-old's next start is projected to be at home versus the Twins next weekend.

Bubic (8-7) allowed four runs (three earned) on three hits and four walks while striking out one over 2.2 innings, taking the loss in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader versus the Guardians.

Bubic threw just 35 of 66 pitches for strikes in this outing, which was his shortest of the season. He's allowed 10 runs (nine earned) over 20.1 innings across four starts in July, but he's also walked 10 batters this month, a trend that will make it tough for him to replicate his first-half success if it continues. Bubic has a 2.55 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 116:39 K:BB through 116.1 innings across 20 starts this season. His next start is tentatively projected to be in a tough road matchup in Toronto.

Wacha allowed a run on three hits and a walk while striking out five over 5.1 innings, taking a no-decision in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader versus the Guardians.

Wacha has come up winless in six straight outings, but he's held opponents to exactly one run in three straight no-decisions. The right-hander limited the damage to a sacrifice fly in this contest. He's now at a 3.53 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 90:35 K:BB through 117.1 innings over 21 starts this season. Wacha lines up for a tough matchup in Toronto next weekend.

Rogers (4-1) earned the win against the Rockies on Saturday, allowing one hit and one walk with five strikeouts over seven scoreless innings.

Rogers was handed a big lead and made the most of it, throwing 65 of 96 pitches for strikes while retiring 14 straight hitters at one point. The 27-year-old has now allowed just three earned runs over four consecutive quality starts in July and has yet to give up more than three earned runs in any of his eight outings this season. He'll carry a 1.49 ERA, 0.79 WHIP and 40:13 K:BB over 48.1 innings into a road test with the Cubs next week.

Henderson went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one walk, two RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 18-0 win over the Rockies.

Henderson was a thorn in the Rockies' side all game, highlighted by a two-run double in the Orioles' nine-run seventh inning. In nine games since the All-Star break, the shortstop has gone 9-for-30 with five extra-base hits, seven RBI, four runs scored and a three stolen bases. On the season, he's slashing .281/.350/.459 with 11 home runs, 38 RBI, 53 runs scored and 13 steals across 406 plate appearances.
