Sandlin (elbow) has begun playing catch, Mitch Bannon of The Athletic reports.

The 28-year-old righty has had trouble staying healthy in his first season with the Blue Jays, but he's been effective when available, posting a 2.20 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 16:8 K:BB with a save and six holds over 16.1 innings and 19 appearances. Sandlin's latest injury, a bout of elbow inflammation, has sidelined him since July 7, but now that he's resumed a throwing progression he could be ready to rejoin the Toronto bullpen by the end of the month.

Keaschall (forearm) served as a designated hitter in three rehab games for Triple-A St. Paul from Friday through Sunday, going 3-for-12 with three walks, two stolen bases, one run and one RBI.

Keaschall took part in his first game action since April 25, when he sustained a fractured right forearm that disrupted what had been an impressive start to his time in the big leagues. The rookie fared well in his return to the field this weekend, but since the Twins still want him to play second base and potentially get exposure to other positions during his time at St. Paul, he's expected to be in store for a lengthier rehab assignment, per Dan Hayes of The Athletic. Keaschall produced a 1.064 OPS in 26 plate appearances in the majors prior to landing on the injured list, and if he continues to rake during his assignment, the Twins will likely find ways to get his bat in the lineup once he's activated.

Martin is likely to be placed on the 15-day injured list after suffering a left calf strain during Sunday's loss to the Tigers, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

The severity of the strain is unclear, but it seems to be bad enough that Martin will be shelved for at least a couple weeks. The veteran reliever has been a high-leverage arm for the Rangers this season, collecting a 2.36 ERA and 36:6 K:BB over 34.1 innings while notching a pair of saves.

Guerrero went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, an additional run scored and two total RBI in Sunday's 8-6 win over the Giants.

Guerrero got the Jays on the board in the first inning with a 420-foot shot off Robbie Ray, his 13th homer of the season and first since June 29. While his power has tapered off a bit this year, Guerrero's still slashing a strong .278/.385/.439 with 48 RBI, 61 runs scored and five stolen bases across 426 plate appearances.

Langford batted leadoff and went 0-for-4 in Sunday's 2-1 loss to Detroit.

Langford typically bats in the middle of the order but was moved up to leadoff for the night against Detroit lefty Tarik Skubal. Sam Haggerty (ankle) had been the go-to leadoff batter against southpaws recently, but he landed on the 10-day injured list Friday. Langford went hitless in the three-game series against the Tigers and hasn't recorded a hit over the last 15 at-bats, dropping his season average to .234.

Freeman started at third base and went 0-for-3 in Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Tigers.

Freeman had his contract selected from Triple-A Round Rock on Friday and made his first MLB start. He's unlucky in that his first start in the show came against Detroit lefty Tarik Skubal (2.19 ERA, 2nd in MLB), but Rangers manager Bruce Bochy typically uses a right-handed batter at third base when facing a southpaw. With Josh Jung back in the minors, the Rangers' hot corner has become a rotation of Josh Smith against righties with Ezequiel Duran and now Freeman against lefties.

Hill earned a hold against Atlanta on Sunday, allowing one hit and striking out one batter in one scoreless inning.

Hill handled the eighth inning Sunday, throwing 10 of 11 pitches for strikes and working around a one-out single to set up closer Devin Williams with a two-run lead. The left-handed Hill is up to 10 holds on the campaign, his most since the 2021 season, when he was with San Diego. Five of those holds have come over his past 11 outings, a span in which he's recorded a 2.31 ERA with a 7:1 K:BB across 11.2 frames.

Stanton went 3-for-5 with a run scored in Sunday's 4-2 victory against Atlanta.

Though none of his knocks went for extra bases, Stanton posted his first three-hit performance of the campaign. The veteran slugger has at least one hit in eight of his past nine games, batting .393 (11-for-28) with three homers, two doubles and nine RBI during that span. While he seems to be heating up, Stanton hasn't been an everyday part of the lineup of late -- he's started just four of New York's past seven contests.

Judge went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional run scored and a walk Sunday in a 4-2 win against Atlanta.

Judge got the scoring started Sunday with a 409-foot solo blast in the first inning. It was the fearsome slugger's first homer of the second half, and he's now up to 36 long balls on the campaign. Only Cal Raleigh (38) has more home runs than Judge this season.

Stephenson (biceps) has resumed throwing and is currently playing catch from up to 90 feet, per MLB.com.

Stephenson landed on the 15-day injured list due to right biceps inflammation in early June and was subsequently shut down from throwing for several weeks. He resumed playing catch June 30 but continued to experience discomfort and had his throwing program halted again until July 7. Stephenson is now back to building up, but considering that he hasn't yet thrown from a mound, he's unlikely to be activated until August, at the earliest.
