Cameron (5-6) earned the win against the Phillies on Monday, allowing one run on six hits and five walks while striking out seven across five innings.

It wasn't exactly smooth sailing for Cameron, who allowed at least two baserunners in each of his first three frames. However, he limited the damage to just one run on an RBI double from Alec Bohm in the first inning, and Cameron received plenty of support from his Royals teammates, who tagged Cristopher Sanchez for nine runs before the Phillies' starter was chased out of the game in the fourth. It was the fourth time in 17 starts this season that Cameron recorded at least seven strikeouts and the sixth time he's yielded one run or less. He'll take a 4.77 ERA and 1.45 WHIP across 88.2 innings into his next start, tentatively slated for this weekend on the road against the Orioles.

Matz (ankle) will embark on a rehab assignment Thursday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Matz is ready to take the last step in his recovery from a left ankle sprain that caused him to land on the 15-day injured list in late June. He may need just one or two outings in the minors before he's ready to return to the big club, though it's unclear whether his reinstatement from the IL will come before or after the All-Star break.

Pena (calf) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Sugar Land on Tuesday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Pena is less than a week removed from landing on the 10-day injured list with a left calf strain, but he's made enough progress to test himself in a game setting. The expectation is that Pena will play a couple rehab contests before being activated from the IL on Friday when first eligible.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Monday that Stanton (calf) has yet to resume running since he suffered a setback with his strained right calf in early June, Chris Kirschner of The Athletic reports.

Stanton has been doing some work on the treadmill, but he's not ready to run on the field yet and there's no timetable for him to do so. Boone added Monday that he expects Stanton to return at some point later this season, but no timeline for the designated hitter's activation will surface until he's able to ramp up activities with no encumbrances.

Volpe is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rays.

Volpe had started in four of the Yankees' previous five games but went just 3-for-17 with a walk during that stretch. Jose Caballero will cover Volpe's usual spot at shortstop in the series opener.

Trammell is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Nationals, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Trammell will head to the bench after he went 4-for-21 with a home run, two walks, two RBI and three runs while starting in the Astros' last seven games. Brice Matthews will replace Trammell in center field and will bat ninth.

Rays manager Kevin Cash said Monday that Uceta has yet to resume throwing and will meet with a doctor to have his nagging right shoulder injury examined, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Uceta has been limited to four rehab appearances due to a right shoulder strain and has remained shut down since he suffered a setback in late May. It's unclear whether surgery to address the injury is a possibility, but even if a procedure isn't on the table, Uceta is nowhere close to being ready to pitch in a game.

The Astros optioned Delgado (finger) to Triple-A Sugar Land on Monday, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Delgado will give up his spot on the 26-man active roster to fellow infielder Braden Shewmake (adductor), who was reinstated from the 10-day injured list. During his latest stint in the big leagues, Delgado appeared in appeared in three games and went 1-for-5 with a double, a walk and a run. Delgado exited early in a start during last Wednesday's loss to the Twins due to dislocated pinkie finger on his right hand, but he made a pinch-hitting appearance and played an inning at shortstop in Friday's loss to the Rays and should be ready to handle an everyday role at Sugar Land.

Wade will start in left field and bat fifth in Monday's game against the Nationals, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Wade will pick up a third straight start in left field, despite going 0-for-6 with three strikeouts over the final two games of the Astros' weekend series versus the Rays. After the Astros sent Joey Loperfido back to Triple-A Sugar Land on Saturday, Wade looks like he'll have an opportunity to solidify himself as a strong-side platoon player in the Houston outfield.

Chisholm (toe) will start at second base and bat sixth in Monday's game versus the Rays.

Chisholm was lifted from Sunday's 6-1 loss to the Twins due to right big toe discomfort, but X-rays returned negative and he won't have to miss a start. The 28-year-old enters play Monday having posted just a .433 OPS across his last 10 games.
