Hendricks allowed one run on five hits and struck out five without walking a batter over five innings in a no-decision versus the Nationals on Saturday.

Hendricks was sharp the first two times through the order, but CJ Abrams took him deep for a fifth-inning solo shot. Hendricks was pulled at 74 pitches (56 strikes), leaving with the game tied at 1-1. He had mixed results in June, allowing 13 runs (10 earned) with a 21:5 K:BB over 28 innings across his five starts during the month. That's still better than his season-long marks, which are now at a 4.66 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 60:23 K:BB through 87 innings. Hendricks' next start is lined up to be at Toronto.

Thaiss went 1-for-4 with a triple and two RBI on Saturday against the Orioles.

Thaiss remains the backup to Danny Jansen behind the plate for the Rays, though Saturday marked Thaiss' fourth start in the last eight games. He delivered a two-RBI triple in the seventh inning to record his third multi-RBI performance of the campaign and second in his last four starts.

Mangum went 3-for-5 with a run scored Saturday against the Orioles.

Mangum recorded three singles to extend his hitting streak to four games while also tallying his third multi-hit game in his last 10 starts. He has five RBI and four runs scored while going 13-for-38 in that 10-game span. Overall, Mangum can be counted on as a strong source of batting average, and he has also swiped 10 bases in 11 tries this season.

Diaz went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and a walk Saturday against the Orioles.

Diaz returned to the third spot in the Rays' order after leading off for seven consecutive games. He blasted his 13th home run of the season in the fourth inning while also tallying his 14th multi-hit effort in his last 23 starts. In June, Diaz is batting .408 with five home runs, 13 RBI and 16 runs scored across 93 at-bats.

Benintendi went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Saturday in a 1-0 win against San Francisco.

Benintendi made a winner out of White Sox starter Adrian Houser when he launched a solo shot in the sixth inning for the lone run of the contest. The long ball continued a recent power surge by Benintendi, who has gone deep four times in his past eight contests following a 17-game homerless stretch. The veteran outfielder is up to 10 home runs on the season, halfway to the career-high mark of 20 that he's established in two separate campaigns (2017 and 2024).

Lowe went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and a double Saturday against the Orioles.

Lowe has multiple hits in each of his last four games, going 9-for-15 with two doubles, a home run, two RBI and four runs scored in that span. That hot stretch gave him the chance to move up the lineup, as he went from batting sixth in six consecutive games to the leadoff spot Saturday.

Taylor earned a save against the Giants on Saturday, striking out two batters over two perfect innings.

After Adrian Houser fired seven scoreless frames, Taylor was asked to protect a tenuous 1-0 lead. The rookie right-hander excelled in the assignment, retiring all six batters he faced on 31 pitches (21 strikes). Taylor was especially impressive in the ninth frame, when he struck out both Rafael Devers and Dominic Smith. The 23-year-old righty has two saves and a hold over his past three appearances and has each of Chicago's past two saves, so he appears to be the team's current top choice to close games.

Houser (3-2) earned the win over San Francisco on Saturday, allowing four hits and issuing one walk while striking out five batters over seven scoreless innings.

Houser got one measly run of support, but that was all he needed, as the right-hander spun another impressive outing. The veteran hurler was efficient in tossing 88 pitches (62 strikes) across his seven frames, and he fired a first-pitch strike to 18 of the 25 batters he faced. Houser lowered his ERA to 1.90 on the campaign, and he's now recorded a quality start in six of his seven appearances. While he doesn't have a great track record and is not a big source of strikeouts -- he has 31 across 42.2 innings this year -- Houser has put himself on fantasy radars with his unexpected level of success to begin his White Sox tenure.

Laureano went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Saturday's 11-3 loss to the Rays.

Laureano crushed his 10th homer of the season en route to extending his hitting streak to a modest four games. The 30-year-old outfielder has become a significant contributor in the heart of Baltimore's lineup, and he should continue to play nearly an everyday role until Tyler O'Neill (shoulder) is activated from the injured list. Over his last 31 games, Laureano is slashing .308/.395/.561 with seven long balls, six doubles, 20 RBI, 23 runs scored and two stolen bases covering 124 plate appearances.

Soler (back) took batting practice on the field Saturday and said he could be activated from the injured list soon, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

This was the first time Soler has participated in batting practice since he landed on the injured list June 20. The veteran outfielder also said that he's been doing defensive drills and running, so he appears to be closing in on a return -- possibly when he's first eligible Monday. While Soler has been out of action, LaMonte Wade and Gustavo Campero have been logging starts in right field.
