Wynns is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Yankees.

Wynns has one hit in his last 15 at-bats, and he'll get the night off Friday. Willie MacIver will bat eighth and fill in behind the dish.

Burdi (foot) has been shut down due to a hip injury, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.

Burdi had been rehabbing at Triple-A Worcester, but he hasn't appeared in a game since June 15. It's now known he's picked up a hip injury and has been temporarily shut down. The severity of his setback is unclear.

Yoshida (shoulder) could begin a rehab assignment Tuesday, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.

Yoshida is expected to play outfield during his rehab stint, a notable development considering Yoshida exclusively played DH in 2024. It's unclear how many games Yoshida will need to ramp up, but he's nearing a big-league return. He's been on the shelf since October after undergoing right shoulder surgery.

Slaten (shoulder) is scheduled to play catch Saturday, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.

It will be the right-hander's first time throwing since he landed on the injured list nearly a month ago due to shoulder inflammation. Slaten will require some time to build back up in his throwing program, so he shouldn't be expected to rejoin the Red Sox until after the All-Star break.

Bregman (quadriceps) will hit Friday and take groundballs Saturday, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.

Bregman has been running since the start of June, but he hadn't yet resumed baseball activities. However, the third baseman will begin hitting and fielding groundballs this weekend, which is a big step in his recovery from a right quad strain. He isn't expected to return before the All-Star break, however.

Clarke is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Yankees.

Clarke will get the night off Friday after making four consecutive starts in center field. In his place, JJ Bleday will bat seventh and patrol center field.

Manager Aaron Boone said that Escarra (personal) is expected to rejoin the Yankees ahead of Sunday's game against the Athletics, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

Escarra has been away from the team since Wednesday while observing the birth of his child, but the backup catcher won't be out much longer. Ben Rice will serve as the Yankees' No. 2 option behind the plate while Escarra remains unavailable.

Narvaez is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Blue Jays.

Narvaez will yield to Connor Wong behind the dish for Friday's series opener against Toronto. Since the start of June, Narvaez is 13-for-58 (.224) with an 11:18 BB:K over 17 games.

Robert (hamstring) is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Giants.

Robert was lifted from Wednesday's game due to hamstring tightness, and despite having a team day off Thursday, Robert will remain on the bench for Friday's series opener. Michael Taylor will bat ninth and patrol center field in place of Robert.

Guerrero (forearm) is out of the lineup for Friday's game against Boston.

Manager John Schneider said Friday morning that Guerrero was likely to be in Friday's lineup, but Guerrero will actually be on the bench. The first baseman was hit by a pitch on the forearm Thursday, and his X-rays came back negative. He should still be considered day-to-day going forward, but his status is certainly worth monitoring.
