  • George Kirby SP | SEA

Mariners' George Kirby: Dominates Angels for first win

Kirby (1-3) picked up the win Sunday against the Angels, allowing two runs on two hits and no walks with 14 strikeouts over seven innings.

Kirby set a career high in strikeouts Sunday, besting his previous record of 12 and marking his fifth career start with double-digit Ks. The only damage against Kirby came in the fourth inning, when Taylor Ward swatted a two-run home run. Kirby's performance should allow fantasy managers to take a sigh of relief, as the historically reliable 27-year-old tallied an 8.57 ERA over his first three starts this season. He's tentatively scheduled to face the Guardians next time out.

  • Tyler Anderson SP | LAA

Angels' Tyler Anderson: Can't complete five innings

Anderson (2-3) took the loss Sunday against Seattle, allowing three runs on eight hits and one walk over 4.2 innings. He struck out six.

Anderson yielded three doubles on the day and failed to make it through the fifth inning, getting pulled after throwing 94 pitches. He allowed seven or more hits for the fourth time in his last five starts while owning a 6.57 ERA, a 1.79 WHIP and an 18:10 K:BB over 24.2 innings during that stretch. He'll look to get back on track in his next start, which is tentatively scheduled to occur next weekend at Baltimore.

  • Andres Munoz RP | SEA

Mariners' Andres Munoz: Nabs 18th save

Munoz picked up the save Sunday against the Angels, allowing one walk and no hits with two strikeouts over a scoreless ninth inning.

Munoz blew each of his last two save chances, but he bounced back with a scoreless ninth frame Sunday to grab his first save since May 23. The 26-year-old hadn't allowed an earned run before his pair of blown saves, and his ERA currently sits at 1.35. Munoz's 18 saves rank third in baseball.

  • Mariners' Randy Arozarena: Three hits in win

Arozarena went 3-for-5 with an RBI double, an additional double, a stolen base and a run scored during Sunday's 3-2 win over the Angels.

Arozarena logged three hits for the second consecutive contest, and he notched his first game with multiple doubles this season. The outfielder hadn't logged a double since May 23 (14 contests). In his last 12 games, Arozarena is 10-for-47 with a 32.7 percent strikeout rate.

  • Taylor Ward RF | SEA

Angels' Taylor Ward: Goes yard Sunday

Ward went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run during Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Mariners.

The Angels mustered up merely two hits during Sunday's contest, and Ward provided both of the team's runs with his two-run blast in the fourth inning. The long ball was Ward's third in his last eight games. Ward hasn't had a multi-hit outing since May 22, and he's hitting 9-for-54 (.167) with a 31.7 percent strikeout rate since.

  • Hunter Dobbins SP | STL

Red Sox's Hunter Dobbins: Victorious in start

Dobbins (3-1) picked up the win Sunday against the Yankees, allowing three runs on four hits and no walks across five innings. He did not record a strikeout.

Dobbins missed two trips through the rotation as the Red Sox replaced him with Richard Fitts in late May, but Boston optioned Fitts to Triple-A Worcester on Tuesday, allowing Dobbins to re-enter the rotation. He delivered a decent performance Sunday despite throwing just 64 pitches. The 25-year-old rookie failed to strike out a batter and yielded a pair of home runs. Still, he notched his first win since April 18. In eight starts this season, Dobbins owns a 4.35 ERA and a 32:6 K:BB over 41.1 innings.

  • Jorge Polanco DH | NYM

Mariners' Jorge Polanco: Rare multi-hit game Sunday

Polanco went 2-for-4 with an RBI in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Angels.

It was Polanco's first multi-hit game since April 29, as he's been stuck in a deep slump at the plate for over a month now. Over his last 31 games, the veteran infielder is batting .163 (16-for-98) with one home run, three doubles and six RBI. Polanco remains limited as a designated hitter and left-handed batter due to a side injury from earlier this year, as he routinely starts on the bench versus southpaws and last appeared defensively back on May 6, and it's fair to wonder if the issue is hampering his performance at the dish in any way.

  • Red Sox's Carlos Narvaez: Swats three-run home run

Narvaez went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run during Sunday's 11-7 win over the Yankees.

Narvaez headlined a five-run sixth inning for the Red Sox, plating Rafael Devers and Rob Refsnyder on a go-ahead three-run home run. The catcher has been on fire since mid May, going 24-for-71 (.338) with 14 runs scored and nine RBI in his last 21 games. Narvaez has moved into the cleanup spot lately, filling the four-spot in each of his last seven starts.

  • Trevor Story SS | BOS

Red Sox's Trevor Story: Another excellent game

Story went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored during Sunday's 11-7 win over the Yankees.

Story and Abraham Toro hit back-to-back homers in the eighth frame, marking the shortstop's eighth long ball of the campaign. Story ends the three-game set against the Yankees batting 5-for-13 with three runs scored, a double and six RBI. He's logged three multi-hit games in June after accomplishing the feat just once in May.

  • Aaron Judge RF | NYY

Yankees' Aaron Judge: Goes yard twice

Judge went 3-for-4 with two two-run home runs and an additional run scored during Sunday's 11-7 loss to Boston.

Judge's monstrous 2025 season got even bigger Sunday, as the 33-year-old slugged his 22nd and 23rd home runs of the campaign. The performance ended what may be considered a homer drought by Judge's standards, as he hadn't logged a roundtripper in six games. It was his third-longest stretch without a home run this season. Judge has reached base three times in four of his last five outings, going 9-for-18 (.500) with two doubles, six runs scored and five RBI during that span. He's slashing .396/.493/.771 in 288 plate appearances this season.
